I do not try to hate anyone. That is probably hard to believe but i try not to because things do not get better. I was pissed at you for the 1,000,000 times you evaded the perm. Again, this is one step in trying to make things right and i think it is a good step for your situation. I mean, if you did the donate 10 (or 20, idk which) dollars and had the i <3 xenogamers thing i would not be bothered by an unban. But with the events of evading so many times it is hard to be like Oh yeah we should unban him.
 
Also i kinda thought his ban was bs since it is evade ban should be another week added to the original ban. But higherups made that decision and i can't argue it.

Finally the US Supreme Court has ruled gay marriage legal throughout the entire US. Some people may be angry because of their beliefs or because they believe the states should've decided individually, but honestly I think it was a great thing. I'm not homosexual or anything, but I'm still very happy for the people who have been waiting for this decision. If you are against gay marriage, I have one question for you; how will it effect you in any way? It isn't like gay marriage will turn most of America gay, and in religions like Christianity, you are supposed to love everyone. I just hope churces aren't forced to marry gays, as they still could be against it, but I don't want this to be some extreme political debate. But feel free to share your input, no one's gettin judge as long as they have reasoning.

So, over the past few weeks, some of you may have noticed that my activity levels have reached an all-time low. Well, I just wanted to post this as a bit of an update as to why that is.
 
As many of you are aware, my wifey is very much pregnant again. It's getting pretty damn close to her due date, and these days money is pretty tight when it comes to our budget, so this has led to me seeking out employment over the summer while I am out of school. Said job is absorbing pretty much all of my free time. If I'm not at home taking care of my child and wife, or I'm not at work busting my ass, I'm usually sleeping.
 
That being said, I obviously don't get to game nearly as much as I was during the school year. I AM still pretty active on forums, dealing with issues that crop up every now and then, but my in-game and my Teamspeak activity have taken a dive.
 
That isn't to say that this is permanent. For the remainder of the summer, I may or may not be able to immediately answer calls for Admins in game, and I may not be on Teamspeak to talk with you guys, but I am available on the forums, as I am making sure to check here at least 2-3 times a day. So, if ever you need me, it's probably best if you send me a message through the forums, as that's where I'll most likely respond.
 
Sorry that it's come to this, but as you all know, family is the utmost important priority. Gotta do for them first.

Alright, our glory leader @Nomulous is going to code following commands. Reply to this thread to give your opinion and suggest further ideas.
 
In order to activate these commands, you must be

warden or
or staff member
this does not apply for the last ct command.

Now what these commands do:
!hideandseek [time to seek] || It should say "Hide and Seek" at the bottom

Teleport all blues into the armoury
Freeze them
Open cells and unfreeze the blues after the given amount of time (specified after "!hidenseek") Time must be at least a minute and shouldnt be longer than 2:30 minutes
Give reds a little speed buff for the given amount of time.
During the set-up, remove the reds meeles so they cannot break into the armoury. Give it to the reds back later, so they can rebel (again)
After the given amount of time has expired:
Blues should get a little speed buff
(a normal hide n seek day goes on..)
Possible idea: When there is like 1:30 minutes left, toggle outlines on reds.

!warday
 
Once !warday is typed by the warden, he will get to chose if its a meele warday or a normal warday. (Same system as in the vote options for maps)
 
If its a normal warday: It should say "Warday" at the bottom

When the warden does !warday, It shows valid places for it to happen
or a custom place (if this and the idea above is even possible)
If not, freeze and blind all reds for 30 seconds, and give reds ammo and let the blues get to the spot. We could still let the blues pick a location or "own location" and they can type their own spot. (like with the "own reason" in calladmin.
Allow blue engies to build dispensers (and sentrys?)
Disable last CT and LR for this round.

If its Meele-warday:It should say "Meele-Warday" at the bottom

Restrict everyone's weapon to meele only, even if you pick up ammo you wont get it.

Give blues mini crits and speed ( I mean its like 6 vs 19)

Freeday should firstly enable the normal freeday mode.
It should pardon everyone
Once it is typed, there should be a message saying something like: "ITS A FREEDAY NOW, REDS CANNOT BE KILLED UNLESS THEY HAVE AMMO OR HIT A BLUE" in a cool font

!lastct

This command should work with the last ct plugin!
Once you type !lastct, you get to pick a class: (Like on ff2 when you select your boss: press 1 for scout, 2 for soldier etc)
normal last ct stuff
Oh yeah, and when it is last ct, it should say last ct at the bottom.

Wasn't really a shit post anyhow? In my own opinion from seeing and playing LoL, DotA is much more complex. That sentence didn't have the intention of coming off in a negative or bashful way towards the game.
My mindset was that this whole thread is to persuade other MOBA players to play DotA, which is the whole point of my post. Persuading people to convert to DotA or start playing the game in general.
 
Also for the record, DotA has lane bullies, and forty percent of the heroes in DotA have skill shots of some sort. ;) Flash farming is a mechanic used in both games. I know that, and that is why I never brought that up in my post. The micro intensive fights also occur, regardless of the "point and click" skills. You're going to get that in MOBAs.
 
I fixed my post to cut endless fighting, and I'll watch my wording next time to not trigger anyone in this MOBA division.

As a note for future reference: Do not negatively state anything on any MOBA / AoS game within these discussions. if you want to shitpost about one of them, post it in general where I will remove it anyway for being a shitpost.
 
This is a board that was previously league only and changed to be friendly with all others as a neutral ground of fun and discussion of games. not to say one game takes more skill than the other or is better than the other (which is actually proven to be impossible to prove) [Ex: "DotA takes more skill because you have to deny creeps and pull them to jungle to be able to kill jungle monsters; you also have to pick and choose what abilities you want to use since they all cost your whole mana bar. no summoner spells" yes dota is a more metagame intensive aka macro for you starcrafters. But then you look at league and see a vast majority of skills are 'skill shots' compared to DotA where a vast {i think the number is somewhere around the 85% range} majority of skills are 'point and click' and there is a lot more player on player action through leagues own way of denying {bullying in lane to push them out of xp range and freezing lane so they cant get gold or xp} and more pvp fighting going on where split second precise aimed skills allow for the edge instead of everyone mile away targeting with point and click to kill. this is known as a micro intensive or performance in moment style.]

Anyways, Defense of the Ancients differs from League of Legends.
The most unique mechanic in DotA is creeps and farming in general. Blocking creeps, pulling creeps into jungle camps, and denying your own creeps just so you can end up having more money than your opponent in lane. Keeping creep equilibrium is important (in lower ranking mmr this doesn't really apply, it's just good to practice).
Another unique feature to DotA is the fact that you can control more than one unit. There are many heroes in the game that can take over creeps and use them to their advantage, all while controlling your own hero at the same time. Meepo is the hero that I play religiously, and you have four other meepo clones to control. Some of the jungle creeps can give auras to help out. Some examples of these auras would be attack speed boost, damage boost, defense boost, healing boost, etc.
 
The best thing about this game is that all the heroes are unlocked. You can play anyone you want, and you don't have to save up points or buy points to unlock them earlier. Only thing that Valve puts out for sale is hats and HUD skins. You don't need these at all, they just make your hero look cooler. (y)
 
DotA is just more complicated to play, but still easy to learn. If you already have League mechanics down, then DotA should be no problem for you in low mmr.
