    Finally, an update.

    I've made 10+ renditions of this map over the course of the past 5-6 months, and I'm getting sick of seeing this damn thing.

    "What does the 'final(?)' signify?"

    There is a 50|50 chance this map will be the final version; granted, I have no other intentions of updating it, or there is a bugfix in question that needs attention.

    "Anything new?"

    Yes, there is.

    -Added a Music Room-

    1. Uncompressed Original Compositions by Grant Kirkhope

    • Bunker I
    • Frigate
    • Statue Park
    • Archives
    • Cradle

    2. Compressed Original Soundtrack

    • Game Intro / Bond Theme
    • Bunker I
    • Janus Control Centre
    • Subterranean Caverns
    • Credits Theme

    -Doors now function as they did previously in the "ge_bunkerii_r3" map-

    -Added a env_fog_controller entity to establish a render distance on behalf of players with sub-par systems-

    -Compiled in LDR-

    "Is there a Secret Room?"

    It wouldn't be a secret if I were to answer that, but it is inevitable that someone will noclip there anyway.

    *If you have seen the movie and are familiar with how the Goldeneye access protocols work, then the answer will be more clear as to how you gain access to the Music Room. The process is the same for both the Red and Blue Bunkers.*

    ==============================================================================================

    @Nomulous

    Whenever you have a chance, could you update this for TGH?

  2. I can confirm being a witness to this event.

    Fox Fur (a.k.a. [FURRY] Fox Fur) joined the server while trade_franticfactory_v3p was in use, then proceeded to enter the boxing ring as the Heavy while using a Brass Beast. Staff and members stated for him not to exploit the map, yet he disregarded the warnings and persisted with abusing the exploit.

    We then decided to record this instance as evidence for a ban request; however, Fox Fur then swapped classes and respawned as a Demoman to appear as an innocent person. At this time, he proceeded to state that "these servers are shit", then left the server. Moosty opened his console, and captured what little graphical evidence he could mine from this predicament.

    +1 For ban.

    "this server's shit xD" (My Screenshot of the Console)

  3. GAMEBANANA: pkmn_ecruteakcity_v3 (Team Fortress 2 > Maps > Trade)

    EDIT 21/08/2014 01:30 - Updated Contents of Version 3

    @Nomulous

    @Whoever is willing / has the time to add this....

    "What has changed in this release?"

    • Red Spawn relocated to the border of Routes 36 & 37.
    • Added the Team Rocket Hideout from Mahogany Town to serve as the "Secret Area" and also to be a location to play music from (Accessing this area will require you to enter the route-house where Red Spawn used to be a.k.a. the route-house on the right hand side of the map.).

    1. Generation III - Hoenn Champion Battle Theme - Vanilla [Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald]

    2. Generation II - National Park Theme - Vanilla [Gold/Silver/Crystal]

    3. Generation II - Ecruteak City / Cianwood City Theme - Vanilla [Gold/Silver/Crystal]

    4. Generation II - Game Corner / Lucky Channel Theme - Vanilla [Gold/Silver/Crystal]

    5. Televised Animated Series - Hoenn Elite Four Battle Theme
    6. Televised Animated Series - Team Aqua / Team Magma Battle Theme
    7. Televised Animated Series - Final Battle Theme (Pokemon Origins)
    8. Generation III - Sky Tower Theme - Remix [Pokemon Mystery Dungeon]
    9. ???? ??????? ????????
    10. Generation I - Lavender Town Theme - Orchestrated [Red/Green/Blue/Yellow]
    11. Pokemon: The Movie 2000 - Lugia's Song // The Guardian's Song

    • Made it to where Engineers cannot build on Trees, Perimeter of the Map, All Structures Excluding the Towers, or on top of Spawns.
    • Compiled the map in LDR instead of HDR (will not need sunglasses anymore).
    • Added more Health and Ammo (within structures that were previously void of said items).
    • Added "Trainer Tips" signs within the spawns to explain mechanics to new users.
    • Elevated some areas to where it's easier to get out (around the Burned Tower).

    "What remains unchanged?"

    • @Kart Maple Syrup is still illegal.
    • @Moosty @ Hachi The trees are still the same. And they're not going anywhere, either. :p
    • @Muzzle Your monument could not be forged because they don't make plugs that big; therefor, no reference. :thinking:
    • Trade Rooms within the Pokemon Centre remain vacant and static; as well as, the Time Capsule.

  4. Alright, this is what I've got on my "to-do" list so far for Version 2:

    Things I will improve, change, or add:

    [] Add a studio/music room somewhere within the map to play multiple songs as seen in Goldenrod.

    [✔] Elevate certain landscapes in key locations so players can't get 'stuck' // Mimic the boundaries like the original game, possibly.

    -note- You can't get stuck in the area surrounding the Burned Tower, I'll admit it's a pain in the arse to get out, though. I may just make it to where you can't walk on top of trees/boulders, let alone, pass over them. I̶'̶l̶l̶ ̶m̶o̶s̶t̶ ̶d̶e̶f̶i̶n̶i̶t̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶o̶p̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶s̶p̶a̶w̶n̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ (Edit: All players will have the freedom of navigation around the map, it's just Engineers cannot build on top of the large trees, the perimeter of the map, or spawns).

    [✔] Re-locate one spawn, or both of the spawns.

    [✔] Re-work the Secret Area into something creative like a Team Rocket Hideout.

    [✔] Compile the map in LDR instead of HDR, since it has burned the retinas of many. (I could adjust the HDR, but it takes up more space in the map file, anyway.)

    [] Make access-points more obvious, or have a briefing-board in the spawns explaining the mechanics of the map.

    [] I guess finally add the extra trade rooms in the upper-floor of the Pokemon Centre.

    [✔] Possibly extend Route 37 a bit further into Route 36 by a little bit (possibly move a spawn out at that end).

    -note- I'm not an expert with render distances, but I can attempt to use the fog entity to limit what is rendered after a certain distance, but it won't be as visually enticing. At this point, I have no choice but to go that route.

    Things I will not be improving, changing, or adding:

    [] Making Pokemon models - I see no point in this; therefor, is a waste of space in the capacity of the map file.

    [] Changing the trees - Nightmare making the bloody things into something presentable.

    [] Maple Syrup - @Kart , that kind of syrup is banned around these parts.

    So far, most Pokemon Trade Centre regulars are expressing their abhorrence with this new map, while others seem to be appreciative of the refreshing Pokemon-themed experience. I've already made a minor mess over on TGH with that Bunker map and the door issues, and now I've gone and made a mess on PTC with this thing. @Nomulous has enough issues with the TF2 Division to deal with already; therefor, these inconveniences regarding design flaws and frequent updates shouldn't contribute to that.

    Honesty is an important factor here, when posting a suggestion or answering the poll, please do bear that concept in mind.

    If there's any issues, let me know as soon as possible. :coffee:

    Not sure what server this will get thrown on, @Nomulous said it might go to the Trade Gaming History server, but others think it should be on the Pokemon Trade Centre server (I think it should, too).

    Anyway, enjoy. :llama:

  6. Actually, I did notice something in particular. The files that are crashing people off of the server aren't directly related to my map file (at least I hope they're not), instead, it appears to be something else. Why it crashes on my map, I haven't a clue.

    What I am seeing is this: "sound/misc/common.wav" - it gets stuck on this, yet it isn't a part of my map's audio repository.

    What is a part of my map's audio repository is this:

    "sound/common/null.wav"

    "sound/goldeneye007/(multiple files not pertaining to the problem)"

    "sound/power/(multiple files not pertaining to the problem)"

    @Nomulous

    @Rhododendron

  7. I saw 1 person on the server earlier and I also crashed on the common.wav part. I thought it must be down because Nom might be fixing something.

    I have no idea why it is now doing that, it didn't do that before. All I know is I pissed off the TGH regulars, most likely, and made myself look like a god damn retard.
