Hello Everyone, You may be wondering...where have I been for the past few months? Well... I’ve been resting and dealing with wrapping up college and getting stuff prepped for my Externship to CSP Technician at the Hospital (not sure when that will start though) as well as dealing with Peak Season at Amazon Logistics (which is coming to a close very soon!) My shifts have been going back and fourth in time so my sleep schedule was pretty messed up for the past few months. When will I be back? At the moment; I am going to estimate around the middle of January 2018. Now this isn’t saying my activity will be immediately back to a normal “20+ hour” rate but it will definitely increase over-time. I still wish to moderate for the TF2 servers so I will definitely be doing my best to get my activity up to hopefully be able to regain my staff position when the opportunity is available. I have missed you all and look forward to hanging out with you guys in the very near future. No, I mean’t that 5,000 Credits costs $5.00 in the credit shop. In no way shape or form will I support real currency being a prize for any of these contests I run. Credits and other prizes are the only kind of acceptable prize. I just set these limits as I don’t wish to make the value of credits depreciate, however my cap will be up to @Aegean and @Rhododendron.

Please keep in mind that Xeno Gamers is a community supported by Advertisements, Donations as well as Credit Purchases. The current prize amount is $5.00 in Forum Credits. This is a lot for winning a screenshot contest in my opinion and it is 3x more than it was previously. The Minecraft Build of the Month prize will be about $10.00 - $17.00 in Forum Credits because you are actually doing something that takes effort and not just taking a simple screenshot. Once in a while, a very large prize would be fine but I refuse to make large prizes a permanent or reoccurring thing as it not only would hurt Xeno Gamers from gaining funds, but also decrease the value and novelty of Forum Credits. @Aegean @Rhododendron What do you think?

The chat box scroll may be an operating system specific issue and not a site bug as I have encountered this on other sites with chat boxes or scrolling text boxes.

TF2 implemented a communication blocking system just for this type of situation, it’s not our fault you chose to not utilize it. Complaining about things that you are easily able to solve yourself is not something to do. Especially if you were complaining in an annoying manner to the point where you had to be muted or gagged, then @Tekage had every right to do that. And telling by your own behavior, you don’t seem to be any better than the person whom was annoying you. -1 action taken was justified. Ps. If you know a player is consistently being annoying and/or a rule breaker, instead of complaining, why not try to do something about it like talking to a staff member in private or calling an admin when the user is acting up. This whole situation could have been avoided if you handled the problem better. Simple as that.
