Absolutely, but there's also more generalized ways of putting things as well. Just like tone of voice could easily change the way something is going to be interpreted, the same can be done in text, ie "really?" vs "are you kidding me?!?!"
Thats exactly what Elcark is saying. You easily come off as aggressive in his eyes. Some people are easier to read than others and thats fine, but you do come of a little snarky sometimes, even though you probably dont mean it.
