Concerns For Updated Rules On Jailbreak

I have been absent for awhile and notice jailbreak is leaning more to the Guards advantage. What I mean by this is there has been a couple of rules changed that were perfectly fine but just ended up being unfair for the reds. The thing with baiting now were the Warden has to say Baiters may be killed just kind of defeats the purpose of "Jailbreak". Back then if you got up in a reds face and they hit you, they wouldn't be killed. Another thing with the Wardens abusing the Reds off mic. I say this only because the red are never able to talk because the wardens just want to have a quiet game. Another thing with the Guards is they are killing people way to fast. For example the Warden says "crouch walk to the yellow line" if you are lacking behind just barely 2 feet away you get killed. Another thing with the mods muting and or kicking/banning people just for there own personal needs isn't right at all. I mean if a kid with a high pitched voice came on and a mod just muted him for his voice would be wrong. The kid can't help it he's just trying to have fun. The other day I got kicked for saying the word "sack". I used it constantly because I just do that at times. I wasn't on the mic going SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK SACK. I wasn't spamming nor trolling I was just trying to have a good laugh with my friends. The rules were originally supposed to be modeled after the CS:S rules, and baiting has never been allowed, but it was always rebelling if you stab a baiter. no matter what, attacking a guard is considered rebelling.

I understand what you mean but no matter what the Warden said you would get hit if you tempted a red

which is perfectly acceptable for the reds. to rebel. they rebel when they hit them, and should be killed for hitting the guards.

We (myself and @SpeedOfFreedom) asked you to stop like nine times. You said the word every time you spoke in voice chat and in text chat and you were doing this (to apparently) annoy one of our other mods. You also started spamming it in chat and getting other people to join in on the spam. So I would guess that in your book this equation is in it: ignoring mods + spamming chat + being annoying in general = I'm a funny cool guy™

Also it's still the same jailbreak just with some rules updated and if you don't like the new rules well then deal with it :coffee:

But rebel after rebel after rebel is annoying, to me atleast. After not playing for a good while I noticed that people didnt drop ammo after dieing. With that and many other things to try to cut down on the amount of rebels it still hasnt cut down the rebellions. It has helped some, but today we had a good 7 rebellions in a row. After that I left because it just got annoying. When I came back I asked if there was a good round yet and they said no. A rebellion here and there is fun but round after round it just gets annoying. With these rules they have tried to cut back on the amount of rebellions. But there might need to be a couple more implemented.

@Rhododendron removed the ammo drops due to the fact of a ammo abuse glitch where you suicide when the round begins and u drop ammo and would still respawn

I'm not DL anymore, but shit changes bro, you gotta deal with it. It was always hard to be a guard since it was usually like 8v24, so obviously we had to put some rules in their favor. People used to never go blue because of these reasons, but now a ton of people go blue and it isn't like these new rules have stopped reds from overpowering the blues.

It has always been established that knifing a CT or 'blue' (even if they are baiting) results in you being a Rebel. Either decide to Rebel, or notify Staff of the offending 'blue' and they will be slain.

It's not abuse so much as it is preventing 'reds' from being killed. Think of it this way: The Warden wants 'reds' to be able to hear his/her orders clearly to prevent freekilling or derp 'reds' from dying. The Warden can't do that when he/she is constantly being talked over.

There is a rule that involves delaying/detouring. If the 'red' is not taking the most direct route to a location, they are delaying. If they decide to move in a different direction altogether, they are detouring. It is completely up to the 'blues' to decide whether or not they fit these categories.

Staff should not be muting anyone on the TF2 Jailbreak Server for the reasoning of "high pitched voice". This is not a universal rule and is only apparent in the CS:S Jailbreak Server if I'm not mistaken. Let Higher-Ups know if this is happening, or even post a "Report Abuse" thread with appropriate evidence.

Spamming will result in a warning/gag/kick/ban, regardless of whatever it is you're saying. If you are told to stop by Staff, you should cease and desist immediately.

I was just saying it I wasn't trying to piss anyone off. Also i was asking speed like once or twice. And he said don't ask me that again or I will kick you so I asked origins he kicks me. I didn't ask speed again I asked origins that a bull I wasn't even doing that much. I wasn't even spamming in chat I was messing around. Also if I was spamming in chat why was it okay for everyone in all caps going "FAG DOWN". It was a bit annoy but I kept my mouth shut. If I was in there position I would ignore them. Also awhile ago speed gagged me because I said "fuck you speed" kind of sarcastically because he kept giving my hid n sick spot away. I left because another mod told me just to leave and it would be gone so I was playing a he gagged me again and It wasn't my fault and the second time I left was because my tf2 crashed

Just because he says it every time he speaks isn't a reason for kick or mute or anything really. If it annoys you then you can ask him to stop but if he doesn't ignore it. Its not a hard thing to do. A mod asking him to stop using a single word that doesn't break any rules is no worse than if a non-member asked him to stop and he didn't. Staff members are not that special, l2ignore. (Unless you're SyrJirk, then you are the specialist #favoritism)
