Honestly, this thread is unnecessary at the moment. There are like 4 other threads regarding the HLDJ problem, this should be posted in one of them

One could argue that Metal Gear Solid is an FPS. Either way, it's a tough choice. In most cases, RPGs are more centered around the plot then anything, whereas your standard FPS is (also in most cases) more centered around gameplay and such. Honestly, it's nice to have a change of pace whether it be from FPS or RPG. However; if I had to pick, i'd have to choose RPGs due to the wide variety of types there are.

Definitely got the moves, like damn. If there were anything that needs work, I think it'd be the Gangnam. Everything else is hell'a solid.

As for your second screenshot, I can vouch that both ShadowSpy and Abraham are in a love/hate relationship, shit's getting serious, and if it's a thing between them, it's to be treated as a joke. Although I Will agree that in some cases Abraham does go off the top with disrespect, however it's not something that can't be handled with a few stern words from a mod/admin. -1 due to lack of proof

Damn, that proof is spot on. He definitely advertised, and should have done it via steam chat instead of right out there on our server.. I would feel worse about someone being banned over something like this, however; AppleJack has literally almost always been a problem on the Jail Break server. There are an assortment of rules he has broken, and he always seems to make matters worse. Things like baiting, a very minuscule knowledge of the motd rules, loads of disrespect, tarping, the list could go on. Although, even though he has messed up on numerous occasions, he's just a kid, and honestly, I think a week/month ban would be enough in something like this. Had he advertised his MineCraft server on Our MineCraft server, then I could see the perma-ban being justified. This is all just my opinion, but I say lessen the ban to a week or atleast a month. Honestly, as others have already said, the majority of people who say "Off" are either A. Trolls or B. People who do better without distracting music. The other group are just people who don't like your music. Keep in mind that this changes depending on the scenario. If you're the type who only has a couple or few songs, and are continuously playing them, chances are that people will be more inclined to say "Off". You could raise the amount of votes required to have HLDJ 'disabled', but it would still end up with the same results, only eventually it'll get to the point where people are flooding chat and spamming "Off" instead of how it is now. The only real reason to have HLDJ is to share your music with everyone else currently playing (or to play sound clips). With that in mind, you have to remember to keep your frequent use of HLDJ to a minimum of say, 2~3 times per map. It's common sense that if you play the exact same song, and more people are wanting it off, that they do not enjoy it. Therefore meaning you should refrain from using HLDJ at all for that map or whatever. -1 to have anything changed, as it won't solve anything.

1. Always try to be the neutral guy in any arguments, it gets solved quicker without anyone hating on you. 2. Be respectful of other members, and in most cases they'll respect you. 3. Being active is the best possible thing you could do as an xG member on servers/team speak/forums. You'll meet more people this way, and slowly earn your own reputation. 4. When ingame, never feed the fire of a heated argument (or feed a troll). It's best to either avoid it completely, or give your opinion on the situation at hand and leave it at that. 5. Most importantly, don't try to be someone you're not. Have fun, as this is a gaming community and should be treated as such - Dat guy, Forest

Under normal circumstances I would completely agree with you, but you gotta think outside the box. Not only will it be returning gambling to the server, but it would bring more activity and more Ts driven to get Last Request. Not to mention it would give a physical means of obtaining credits (Other then by playing on the server). It would be more fun to actually have stakes as well, cause I mean, just winning against a single T is lame. As a CT, you only get to play against One T every Last Request (whereas the T can challenge any remaining CTs), why not make it a little more interesting when the T picks his target? If credits are an issue, then you could even lower the amount of Creds that can be put into the pot. It would still motivate people to be more active on the server if they get a chance to win More creds each round, might even bring in others.

In all honesty, the only decent thing on razor_redone is the epilepsy slide. +1 to have that removed. As well as the BlaX map //cough I like electric_razor_v6 because it pretty much encourages rebelling. Don't get me wrong, it's not only being a T that is fun, being a CT is just as good. As a CT, you're challenged to keep everything under control, and it's a great way to learn how to retaliate quickly and control the situation.

1/12/13 Warday: Needs a specific minimum timer, in this case for the Expansion time. Warden can say at the beginning of the round that there is a warday, and say that the warday expands literally 10 seconds later, pretty much making it a Global Warday and not giving the Ts nearly enough time to access Armory. 1/12/13 Team Killing/Death Soccer: The motd itself states that: "Deathsoccer is the time where killing teammates is allowed." Due to 'death soccer' not really being in motd and not having any specifics, does it have to be established that the Ts or CTs are playing Death Soccer? Or does it imply that as soon you enter the Death Soccer area, it is a team killing arena.

Bring back jb_electric_razor v6. I really don't think it has to stay removed due to the fact that screamers cost 5,000 creds once more. Haven't really had any problems with him, seems to be an okay fellow. He's an active guy, but needs to brush up on the motd rules a little further. The problem with that is, like I said, it can be easily abused by two players who are friends (CT or T intentionally loses for the other to get free creds). Honestly, at this point, i'm agreeing with the whole bet on which team will win to a maximum of say, 125 credits. That way it's not too substantial to the point where you get rich quick, and you win a max of 250 credits (enough for a trail) As for my idea on the whole Black Jack LR, there aren't really enough people for it. I'll leave this thread up for another week or so before I request to have it closed.
