Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but you need to face the facts; the role of the Warden is to initiate Last Request with minimal CT casualties. Unfortunately, it's not their responsibility to let the Ts have fun. Of course that doesn't stop them from changing things around, but let's face it, Wardens tend to be lazy by taking the path that involves the least amount of work and coordination. Because of that, it's led to those who just want to get through the round as fast as possible without dying. Not only that, but it's also influenced by those who just want a high kill count or want a high rank on the Server (who the hell cares about that anyways, it's Jailbreak). All in all, it's up to the creative Wardens to keep on doing things differently, and the rest is just hoping that it catches on.

He would have to juggle two ranks in that case, Community Leader and Division Leader. It wouldn't be the best idea since Div Leaders require full focus on Server related issues ;)

Don't feel like writing a paragraph this time, so I'll keep it short and sweet. As most others have mentioned, he's been a long time player on xG Servers, and let's face it, anyone who doesn't have a single ban (other than a requested 1 minute ban) has got to know the rules pretty damn well (or avoids being on the CT team at all times). I personally believe he would make both a good addition to the CS:S team as well as represent the community in a positive way. Don't let me down bbygrl! +1

Honestly, I say leave it in the discretion of the Staff Members who are on at the time. I'm sure they'll make the right decisions. After all, it's obvious when someone should/shouldn't be using their mic (IE. Screaming into their mic versus actively calling Warden).

If I recall correctly, the bans at that time (for reasons unknown) would glitch and result in the ban time being altered to a permanent ban regardless of what time was given by the Staff. This can be seen in the ban reason, as none of those offences warrants a permanent ban. At the most, the ban time was most likely for a day. You can determine this since the offending player was banned on October 3rd, and proceeded to post a Ban Protest 3 days later (the 9th) in which case Starbuck mentioned that he should "wait a while and rejoin". Therefore, the ban was probably only for a day, and the system glitched out, permanently banning him since it seems that he was supposed to be out of the CT ban already. With that said, it's apparent he was wrongfully perm'd, so I'll +1 for an unban.

Welcome to the XenoGamers community bud! Most likely won't see you around since I don't own MC, but I'm around Forums almost all the time. Hope to see you become an active Member on both our Forums and Servers ;)

I thought a Terrorist isn't a Rebel unless they commit a rebellious act, or are labelled as such by the Warden? Mind you, I'm just going on what I know from CS:S Jailbreak, so my apologies if this particular rule is not the same for TF2. If what I mentioned is true, then how can they be killed for being 'Rebels' if they aren't exactly 'Rebels'?

All jokes aside though, as with a few other Staff Members, there are times when I feel it's appropriate for the 'youngsters' to use their mics. There are a few factors to consider when dealing with it after all: First and most importantly, how does the Server feel on this particular individual using their mic? If majority wants the high pitched nonsense to stop, then as a Staff Member you are doing it for the good of the Server. No hard feelings on that particular individual, but apparently the Server would prefer if their balls dropped before using their mic ;) Second, are they using their mic in an unproductive way? Are they just babbling nonsense or shrieking and being a general annoyance? If so, then yes, I'd say that warrants a mute. If they aren't contributing to the Server in a way that is beneficial (calling Warden, making the Server more enjoyable, etc) then they're just making matters worse. Third, sort of a spin off of my second question; are they mature enough to handle mic use? Maturity is one of the main points that should be looked over when dealing with them 'youngsters'. Sometimes they get hyped up on sugar and scream into their mics. Solution? Mute and put them in the time-out corner. But since this thread is designated at the aspect that most players are kids, do keep in mind that as with most other F2P (Free to Play) games, there is an abundance of kids playing. Sometimes removing their access to the game may actually hurt the Servers more than it would just leaving them be (a lot of them are visual players. If a Server shows 30/40 players, they'll be more reluctant to play there rather than on a 13/30 player Server). Just my two cents

It is your opinion, which I do have the utmost respect for. It's just that unless there was some huge grievance with it that involved several players, it's not something that I think will be considered. But mind you, I'm just speculating on the whole thing and have no influence on a decision, just giving my opinion as well ;)

Seems that the problem isn't that there are too many Moderators, but that they aren't allocating their time and dedication to all of the TF2 Servers (or at least those that have a fair number of players on at the time). You could post a thread in which Moderators are notified (via mentions) and are reminded that they are in their position to moderate and regulate Servers, and not just those that they enjoy the most. Unfortunately this would (most likely) only be a temporary fix. However, I agree that employing those who are active in those particular Servers would be far more beneficial as it wouldn't require a constant reminder. That would just require monitoring of those particular Servers to determine a regular who knows the rules well and would be reluctant to take a Staff position.

Wasn't a requirement to wear CL tags, one of the reasons being is that depending on your current position (Admin or Mod) it just makes your name that much more disorganized (IE. Forest xG:A:CL). Have to admit, that looks butt ass ugly. Also, because the CLs do not have 'OP Co-Leader Powers' on our Servers, they technically do not need to wear a CL tag ingame as it is pointless. It's better that they have their Staff tag (pertaining to a particular Division such as Admin) so players are aware Staff is on. Just to clarify to dem Com-Leaders @Gawd @Hidingmaster @diabeetus @snakeboyeric @ThePenguin that it is not a requirement to wear a xG:CL tag ingame.

Exactly this. I mean, there are definitely huge differences between the two. Maybe the Warden doesn't feel like being a tight-wad and will allow some twitchy Terrorists to flashlight or crouch or knife a few times.

Uhh, I hate to say it but I'd have to agree with Chrono on this one. If no Higher-Up was notified (with valid proof to back it up that is) then it's difficult to determine whether or not it was a joke. Funny and all, it was still a valid leaving thread since there was no form of let's say 'white text' or "Haha, I was just joking". That's not including the amount of time this 'joke' was given either, which should have ended much sooner in my opinion. I mean, it's almost been a month since that 'Hello/Goodbye' thread was posted. Your best bet would be to re-apply, and even then it shouldn't be that difficult to get back in as you are well known. Besides, only complete baddies would -1 like Chrono ;)

It's just a notification that you're making credits from. 90% of those "Thread get Reply" notifications is from that one thread ;) You can disable notifications from this under your 'Alert Preferences' I believe. Although I think that not only should it show what you got the credits from, but also what post it was from @Rhododendron That, or even make it's own separate notification icon for gaining credits

Get him to sign a disclaimer that absolves XenoGamers' involvement of any actions he may possibly take in the future that may negatively affect his health or other aspects of his life. That way it effectively removes XenoGamers' liability toward anything that may happen, and gives Duckii Jr the ability to re-join without that being one of the reasons to stop him from doing so. I honestly don't think it would be the best thing for him to re-join this clan/community as it hasn't done him any good in the past, and I'm sure it won't do him any good now. My only grievance for him not being in the clan is that xG could have been made liable should he have done anything. Especially since 'cyber bullying' has become such a big thing lately. I personally don't think he should re-join, but that's completely up to him and those who want him to be a part of xG again. Staying at a +/-0 because I'm indifferent about it.

I wouldn't mind assisting in starting a new clan if @Rhododendron decided to do so to be quite honest. Although I doubt he would, it's very costly to start from scratch, let alone keep a clan afloat. I still would be happy to help out should that ever happen. To be honest, for me, this is a place I go when I've got free time on my hands. Here I can give my opinion on things, talk with buds, curse out uglies like @Chrono and feel like I'm doing something productive when helping out with clan issues and such. Let's just say that this clan/community is more than just a gathering for me, it makes me feel more useful and as cliché as it sounds, has a sense of 'home'. Not to mention it keeps me on my toes when you feggets insist on calling me british. :coffee:

Should announce in the Steam Group if it hasn't been done! ;)
