Why do the two sides of this particular ban have no relevance to each other? One claims that he was banned for freekilling someone (Vinyl) in their cell, and the other states that he was banned for shooting down 3 Ts, thus mass freekilling. These are two completely different scenarios, kind of confusing and conflicting. I'd also like to inquire about this (chatlog from Vinyl): Gyazo - b5d3724bfb5976c7df5d02b16f1483da.png Maybe it'll jog your memory @oVinylScratcho but what you said there seems to me like you either were unsure of the ban itself, or put the wrong amount of time for the ban. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just a heads up that I have included the new Developer rank to the OP. Make sure to take a look at that as well!

Good morning/afternoon/evening ladies and gents. As you are all aware, I'm Forest, and I'd like to take the time to share with you a change that will affect XenoGamers in a way that will hopefully lead to a more community-friendly leadership. This concept was suggested by our previously beloved Co-Leader (serbian) and was then fortified by deep discussion. We hope that with this new type of leadership, decisions will be based on accurate discussions and no longer solely based on the decision of a single person (Co-Leaders). Now, without further ado, it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to the new rank that will replace the old obsolete Co-Leader rank. The new and improved group of: Community Leaders! Yes, I realize that it's still abbreviated as CL and it's not much of a stretch from the previous name, BUT that's not the point. This group will have the same priorities and duties as the previous Co-Leaders, but there are a couple of changes: 1. This group will not have special powers ingame. Yes, that means they will not have all of the god-like powers that the previous Co-Leaders were blessed with. Reason being, this group is to reflect the community, and as such, they do not require powers on our Servers as it will not reflect the title appropriately. 2. This group will not be in charge of providing a vouch for any returning ex-Members in terms of Member Submissions. The previous rule in "Member Submission Guidelines" has been altered to reflect this change, and will now require a vouch from the Division Leader of the appropriate Division being applied for instead of the previously needed "Co-Leader vouch". Any other responsibilities of the previous Co-Leader will now be dealt with by the Community Leaders (this includes making decisions based on the best interests of xG, working on Promo/Demos, as well as other duties). This group consists of five members, all of which were selected in regards to particular traits and characteristics that are ideal for this rank. Now I'll bet everyone is curious to know just who these people are, so I'll drop the suspense. I'd like you all to give a warm welcome to our new Community Leaders: HidingMaster ThePenguin diabeetus Gawd $nakeboyeric Along with the addition of Community Leaders, another rank was made to reflect technological changes and alterations to XenoGamers. This rank is known as the "Developer" rank, and those currently in it are our very own Rhododendron and Nomulous. Rhododendron is in charge of web related issues, this includes any website bugs or glitches that he should be aware about. If there are any problems regarding the site/forums, make sure to notify him. Nomulous is the server Developer, he is in charge of any glitches or bugs that are Server related. He will also notify our Higher-Ups with any issues and will work alongside them to fix the problem as soon as possible. Developers will also be working with the Community Leaders as well. Keep in mind that they will also be making decisions on whether or not a mod or plugin will be added, depending on how it will benefit the clan. Explanations will be given as to why these mods/plugins won't be added . I'd like to thank all of you for your patience in waiting for a new Leadership. I realize a large portion of you were expecting a new Co-Leader or Co-Leaders, but the decision to have a group instead of a single individual calling the shots seemed like a much better alternative. This will replace the previous (essentially) 'dictatorship'. Also keep in mind that since this group is new, there are bound to be a few brick walls that I'm sure will be worked over. With the addition of this new rank, I would also like to make it known that I will now be a Member and no longer hold a Higher-Up rank. I will still be here to advise and give input, but Leadership will now be taken over by the Community Leaders. Have any grievances? Suggestions? Post em below. If you have problems with the current Members of the group, by all means give your opinion, but keep it civil people. I don't want to see a bunch of butt-hurt.

For future reference, I would advise you not to 'copy' other player's ways of Wardening. Reason being that most of the time these guys have been playing for a long time, and orders just come naturally in a way that they understand perfectly well (IE. I commonly use the following order at the beginning of the round: "When cell doors open and I say go, take a step out of your cell, face your cell, do a 180 degree turn, and afk freeze for a guncheck.") It's an interesting way to change up the orders, but you should only be giving them if you know exactly what you're doing. If you're doubting what you said, or if it somehow doesn't seem right to you, chances are it isn't and it will result in freekills and possibly a CT ban. Keep your orders short, sweet, and to the point until you gain a better understanding of our rules, terminology, and what you can and cannot do as a Warden. In regards to the thread, this seems to be an honest mistake that any new Warden could have slipped up in. I'd like to wait on kbshooter's input before providing a 1-Up, so in the mean time I'll remain at a +/-0

He isn't being rebanned for the whole "mother" thing. I'll recap for anyone who's confused. Vinyl was re-CT banned because he wasn't supposed to be unbanned in the first place. His second to last Ban Protest that involved Poncher denying it determined that he was to stay CT banned. After an undetermined amount of time, Vinyl asked a Higher-Up to unban him (not sure what the context here is) and the Higher-Up mistakenly overlooked the wrong Ban Protest (the one in which Aegean accepted his Ban Protest [the first Ban Protest]). Because of this mix-up, Vinyl was wrongfully unbanned for a Ban Protest he had been unbanned from prior to the one that was denied. So to re-cap, he was unbanned from a Ban Protest that was already dealt with way back, when he was supposed to remain CT banned for his actions after that Ban Protest. Further information: #1 Intentionally mass freekills, blames on "dying mother" 1st Ban Protest = Accepted Vinyl is unbanned. #2 Mass freekills again at a later date. 2nd Ban Protest = Denied Vinyl remains banned Vinyl proceeds to get unbanned from Ban Protest #2 under the reasoning of Ban Protest #1 by Higher-Up by mistake. Vinyl then admits to this act and is later re-banned as his being unbanned in the first place was 'illegal' due to Ban Protest #2 not being accepted. :coffee:

He was given a chance and was unbanned for intentionally mass freekilling, emphasis on intentionally. That said fact aside, he should have known what would have happened if he were to mass again. He was CT banned again for mass freekilling once more (banned by Papi), after being given a chance from his first offence.

If someone was spamming "nigger" in chat, are you going to type out your warning before gagging, or are you going to gag them and prevent them from spamming the chat? By the time you type out your warning message, the chat log could be completely flooded with the racial slur. Whereas you could gag them quickly, and then warn them without the chat spam before ungagging. Same goes for muting. Chances are, your voice won't even be heard over the person yelling into their mic, therefore you should mute them and then warn them before unmuting. :Old Man:

I was specc'ing during the time, all of the Ts in that particular cell block took a step out facing away from their original cells. The CT's logic was that they should have been facing toward the ladder either on the wall or leading down from VIP cells so they weren't 'facing their cell'. :coffee:

Trick question. The answer is Towelie.

He was just banned today. Not nearly enough time has been given to even consider having him unbanned. It's nothing against you personally, this is something that happens with a majority of players and not many people get unbanned immediately. If you truly enjoy playing as a CT, then you won't mind taking a look at our MoTD Rules for our CS:S Jailbreak Server (it was posted above, but in case you can't find it: Updated MOTD | Xeno Gamers ) I suggest giving that a good look over, and showing us that you understand it by abiding by the rules as a Terrorist ingame or by pointing out infractions or other rule breakers and the like. When the time comes (give it a month at the very least) you should post another Ban Protest and plead your case then; in the mean time, just sit tight and get a better understanding of our rules m8.
