A tarp is any phrase or any sentence given by the Warden that contradicts or causes confusion for the sole purpose of getting Ts killed (and possibly even freekilled). In other words, if your intention was to have them leave their cells by saying it in a different sentence altogether, then you were tarping.

Nope says shyguy for me too. I smell a :troll:

Alright, judging by the amount of butthurt going on in here, here's what I have to say. @@HanYolo If the complaints are getting to the point where it warrants a ban, do it for like, an hour. There's no reason to day ban someone for questioning your actions, especially if there was no prior warning or heads-up that a change was going to happen. A day is over the top for something that could have been remedied by simply saying you were making a change or testing something. Before making any major server changes, check with the staff of that Division for their opinion or thoughts. This will minimize the amount of harassment or criticism you receive if you were to just do it without mentioning it. @@African ; do not start an argument with the Division Leader ingame via Admin All Chat, let alone any other Staff Member. Not only is this unprofessional, but it shows subordination and may potentially cause players to critically judge our Staff. If you have a problem, don't make it public. Take it to Steam Chat or forums. There is no reason you should start a vote for the sole intent of making Brian look bad. It is expected that the Staff put just as much time and effort into our Servers as the Division Leaders, it is supposed to be a joint effort, not one or the other. You're right, it won't happen over night and it sure as hell won't just happen out of the blue. You need to be dedicated to spending any amount of time on a Server (1~2 hours at least) almost every day to ensure a steady amount of players to populate it. Don't spend a large portion of your time, spread it out over the course of a week. I don't want to see you two battling it out ingame. Let this be a warning. TL;DR - Brian, let your Staff know what changes you are planning on making or if you are testing something. They have just as much the right to know. Do not deal over-the-top bans as well. Gag > kick > ban (for at least 60). African, don't bad mouth the Division Leader ingame in Admin All Chat for all of the players to see. This displays immaturity and unprofessional traits. ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods

I also have a question. If they don't get special treatment during LR then do we slay the ct's who bait or gunplant? Key word was "You shouldn't get some special treatment to rebel during Last Request". Think of it like this. It's essentially a Freeday for the Terrorist. They can do whatever they want, but if they do anything rebellious, they become a Rebel. CTs cannot bait a T on a Freeday. Sound good?

So, let me get this straight. After having several complaints about how the MoTD was too long from our CS:S Division (both from Staff as well as Members and Players) we decided it would be best to make a shortened version a while back. Now you want us to get rid of the thing because it's too short (that resulted from non-stop complaints from you guys), just because there are a handful of incompetent CTs? I'd much rather we have players who actually take the time to click on the link then have players who just skim through the basic MoTD. The people who want a shorter MoTD are naturally just people who aren't frequenters, so why should it matter. They'll only be on for that moment of time (and most likely get CT banned) then never return. If anyone is using "it's not in the MoTD Rules" as an excuse, then that's their own damn fault. Hell, I made the link 3x the size of the other text just so it's blatantly obvious in the MoTD Rules. Honestly, if this gets pushed through I'll have lost all faith in the decisiveness of the CS:S Division I disagreed with that thread, and you say theyll likely get ct banned and never come back. My point isif they read the full motd in the first place they have less of a chance of being CT banned, and may come back. The css staff who asked for the change to be made , are lazy and don't want to read the full one. Which isn't a good reason to change it because it's encouraging their laziness. The reason it was made was so that it would appeal to everyone. The original plan was to delete the full MoTD, but then we thought "Wait, why don't we just link it in the Basic MoTD for those who want all the details?". Now we have both versions. One to appeal to those who just want the gist of what's happening and how to play, and one for those who want to know every detail about the game. I see no reason to remove either of them since it appeals to both audiences.

I think it's fine the way it is. It's not supposed to be treated differently. You shouldn't get some special treatment to rebel during "Last Request", it's a choice that will most likely result in your death if you aren't smart about it and therefore it's your choice to decide whether or not you're skillful enough in doing it.
