Anyone who quotes something from the MotD Rules should be able to back-up whatever they say Before acting upon whatever it is they are doing/saying. Mod/Admin/Div Manager/Div, it doesn't matter, if you're going to quote something and say it's a rule, you better be 100% sure that it is a rule and be prepared to provide evidence. All in all, if you are unsure and you are having an argument in Admin Chat, bring it to a Div Manager or Div Leader, or better yet, co-operate on TeamSpeak and look at the MotD Rules. If it's not in there, you should come up with a solution that you both are happy with, not just one over the other.
 
Also, I'm mentioning Aaron so that he is aware that it was a valid and justified order. As Chrono said, it's probably unfair to the T outside of the cells, but it's either that or tell that One T to freeze (odds are that T will keep on goin' fer it, but you can atleast say you tried).

If a T is out of there cell during the time you say "Out of Cell, Rebel".. Then does that not make anyone out of their cell, well, a Rebel?
 
Whoever said that is clearly in the wrong, as that's like saying any T in [insert area] is a Rebel, which is a perfectly valid order.
 
However; if the T manages to open the cells before you say "Out of Cell, Rebel" or any other order, then they are perfectly safe as it would now be a Freeday.

Though you have to take into account what towlie did, I'm not agreeing entirely on they should be banned. I definitely believe in second chances and always have.
 
Towlie flooded the forum with rude and hateful comments when he was demoted. He then left xG and tried to recruit people in xG. After that he started a huge commotion with his anti xG movement, which failed. And now this WD ordeal, which I'm not entirely sure what its about. Though looking into it, the members don't bring back exactly "good memories." I can see WDs threats being exaggerated GREATLY. But has towlie ever actually apologized for anything he's done?
 
Ill say yes for now. Not everyone in WD should suffer for a few people.

is it really that hard to just unban all the kids that didnt deserve it from WD and tell everyone that they are allowed on the servers? There is no reason to keep members from a clan they probably didnt even know had a history with xG or that the leader is the most hated ex-member from xG and yes towlie and others should stay banned so just unban the members of WD who didnt deserve a ban and then tell everyone on forums and in-game they are allowed on the servers and shouldnt get any harassment if they have WD tags on

You guys are taking every rule too complicated. It's jailbreak, stick to one thing, don't have 3 different versions of that rule. Honestly how it use to be, is totally different now. Jailbreak is so literal now that it's starting to become real life and not a game.

That's not the case. It was thought to be in the rules, nobody on staff ever really reads the rules.
 
Neo and Serbian said in teamspeak themselves during this "discussion" that it was never a rule that you had to ask, and they had no idea who came up with that idea that it was, nor why staff went with it.

I myself disagree with your unban, and also will disagree with you being unbanned from CT. 12 days, is nowhere near enough time on T to show you changed at all. give it a month at least before you make a ban protest for that as well. (granted the new staff is very lenient and allow you to get unbanned for things that we ban people from everything and forget about, almost instantly) If you give it more time then you may be unbanned. asking for a CT unban as well right after being unbanned from servers, seems like asking for permission to break rules when nobody is around.

How about adding a betting system on who survives the round? What I mean is, being able to bet whether the CT team wins, or the T team wins. Harder to exploit, and much more obvious if it Is being exploited.

First off, before I delve further into this, I would like everyone to know that there has been a misunderstanding in terms of the situation between Xeno Gamers and Wolven Dominion. Due to this misunderstanding, several players of WD have been permanently banned without question from our servers. Of course, this is all some-what old news and happened a while back, but I would still like to explain so that everyone may get a sense on what has been going on.
 
What started off as an ex-member addressing the situation of plagiarism regarding our overall setup of our Forums/Ranks to that of Wolven Dominion's, turned into a complete and utter nightmare almost immediately. During this time, a Higher-Up from Wolven Dominion had attempted to come to terms with us, and ended up being treated in a very hostile way. Things didn't go well, and the thread was closed. Shortly afterward, a message was sent that "(Anonymous) kinda declared war on xg", in which our Higher-Ups acted upon it and deemed it a threat. During this time, there had been a large misunderstanding, and the words used in the so-called "threat" were highly over exaggerated. Recently, we have gotten together and discussed with the Co-Leader of Wolven Dominion and have cleared up the confusion that this was NOT what was intended. It was severely misinterpreted, and was spoken through the voice of another individual whom was not part of the discussion during the time. At this point, WD wishes to reach a mutual agreement with xG; one that will hopefully end all of the spite and hatred going on between our clan/community and theirs.
 
Now, getting to what we hope to achieve in this thread. A few others, as well as myself, have discussed the problem at hand and would like to know how the Community feels toward this before acting upon it or doing anything else of the sort. We would like to know if you feel that players from WD should be openly accepted on our servers. This also includes protection from aggressive behaviour as well as harassment.

Any posts that are either intended to flame or troll will be completely disregarded and the post will be removed, depending on the severity of it. Do not post for the sake of posting, we want your honest opinion. We are also not asking your opinion on the Leader of WD, nor anything to do with said Leader or any of their previous or current actions.
 
TL;DR - This is a poll that involves a mutual agreement between xG and WD, in which their players are free to play on our servers, and any players whom were banned for being affiliated with WD will be unbanned. When picking either Yes/No, please provide a post with it giving your reasons as to why you think they should/should not be allowed on the servers. Do not just pick Yes or No with no reasoning. We will be taking each and everyone's opinion into consideration when finalizing an overall verdict.
 
Exception of Unbanning: Players who were banned Prior to the banning of the Wolven Dominion steam group will NOT be eligible for an unban. This is due to their past offences and will not be included in an unbanning.

problem with this is that t's or ct's can pm the player to kill themselves and in return they get a portion of the credits, id say something like a pot so that no one is getting credits out of nowhere, everyone would contribute into the pot and win money based on how much they put it, something like that would be a better way of winning credits

Judging by the sheer amount of negative vouches from the community, as well as the severity of the ban, it is decided that your request to be unbanned is #Denied and #Closed.
 
For future reference, do not impersonate anyone who has made an impact on any community/clan as well as impersonate Another clan's tag, it'll never end well. In the future you may appeal for an unban, but meanwhile, take this time to think over what has happened and understand that it is not tolerable behaviour.

Be aware that if you Are unbanned from CT, you will be on thin ice and will be given less leniency due to your past offences. Also know that if you get unbanned, you will not be given another chance if for some reason you are permanently CT banned again.
 
I'm going to remain at a +/- 0 for the time being. I'll keep an eye on you whenever i'm on servers, you can hopefully expect my opinion in the next few days.

- Definitely not. In no way is this implied Anywhere in the MotD Rules. The MotD Rules state that CTs must be with Ts at All times. CTs are not permitted to go "rebel hunting" unless they have physically Seen a Rebel, or are ordered to by the Warden. There was a discussion a while back regarding this, and many players/members have been misinterpreting it. The discussion was whether or not CTs had to ask for permission from the Warden to Pursue a Rebel. This discussion ended with CTs being able to PURSUE a REBEL without the permission from Warden. No where in the discussion was "CTs can leave the Ts if under suspicion of a Rebel" established. Long story short, people have been lead to believe that you can go looking for rebels whenever you want. You may not just randomly go searching for Rebels unless you physically saw one, or were ordered to by the Warden.

0 You tend to rage about anything. We want to give you a chance. Just be the better person when someone starts things with you. Don't spam admin chat, our lives are hectic enough without the spam.

Can't we just go back to the time when everyone played to have fun? A time when no one was out to get the other and trying to get the other slain. A time where when they got killed, they tipped their hat and said "Gg" (and or cussed them out jokingly) instead of complaining and trying their hardest to get that person slain?
 
You know, we wouldn't need these rules if everyone didn't start picking at the rules and let things be, or if people didn't start loopholing everything out their ass.

I know, I know, I'm contradicting myself. I'm trying to make it as fair as I can while also appealing to how everyone feels toward it. If majority feels that there should be No rule for Rebel Hunting at all, speak now or forever hold your peace. This thread just turned into a discussion, I want to know how everyone feels toward it.

Lolz? There should be no restrictions on rebel hunting. Going by your contradictory posts, it's clearly not as black and white as "you can only pursue rebels you see" (as I've discussed with you before).
 
Simplicity is one of the many reasons why this rule shouldn't exist. After all, a jailbreak that is more simple in its rules is what many people have been yearning for, is it not?

You know better then to impersonate Anyone for that matter.. Impersonating both a highly known and respected player is one thing, but doing so with a fake HG tag just makes it worse. -1 for an unban.
