  1. when you ignore the vulgar language.

This is exactly the problem. Think of it like a bad relationship. Sure you may have good moments but more often than not something is wrong between the 2 people. But yes if he stops talking about all that gross stuff than I would probably be fine having him on here. BUT if I had the absolute decision he probably never would have joined. Call me a bigot all you want but furries are still revolting.

  2. To be clear, it's more of "bending the rules", so to speak, so that the one doing it can justify what they are doing.

For example, at one point we had a rule of "do not camp vents". The intention was obvious; to keep people from camping vents. But others "bent" the rule by stating that they weren't camping but merely moving back and forth inside the vent. Since we had another rule stating that camping was defined as being within the same amount of distance for a certain amount of time, this worked in their favour as they weren't technically camping.

This is an instance of "loopholing" where they find a way to make a rule benefit them by either bending its intended purpose or contradicting it with another rule. To combat this, a newly enacted rule was made (Vent Camping) which stated that it was staying within a vent or other hidden spot with no intent of leaving. It was further elaborated on for maximum clarity stating that a player couldn't walk back and forth inside it to avoid breaking the rule.

Loopholing is a real thing; the problem is that people do fully understand the rule, but try to exploit it in some way.

Now I agree that the rule you made in your example was intended to be fairly clear but if you dont right a rule explaining what camping is then they did nothing wrong... It was just poor planning on your or whoever made the rule's part. When things like that happen adjust the rules so they cant be bent like that (as I see you eventually did. +1 for learning from mistakes). Also when you adjust rules make sure you send out an announcement to everyone so that they see the change in the rules. Otherwise you could change the rules without anyone knowing and then wonder why everyone is breaking the rule that only you know about... :P.

  3. I do it for every LCT when the timer is low, to give a better chance of LR.... LAst CT gives you an advantage over the reds already... lol I just made the advantage higher... why the frick do you care so much... the guy I was shooting the rockets at didn't he was laughing his butt off...

    Loop holing....

Loop holling isnt really a thing BTW.... It just means that you didn't fully understand the terms or rules or... Whatever was set.

  4. right, why should you be allowed to do something you like without having to be bullied.... if you're being bullied it's your problem and you should just stop having fun.... /sarcasm

Not everything has block/ignore features, and you can't always do it anyways... and most times bullies will do things like make new accounts to continue to harass you...

People shouldn't have to quit their games or leave when someone is bullying them...

Yah but they should also know that if it bothers them to the point where they are hurting over it, then they probably shouldn't be where they are anyways. i.e. the internet.

  5. Still a corrupt ruler that you're using to support your bigoted argument on the internet.

That's like saying that an apple is an orange because they both come from trees. Without hitler or the nazis the rule becomes irelivant. Also, how is my opinion bigoting?

  6. does "lay low" equal "leave" ?

im not asking u to leave im asking u to not to start fudge.

I don't intend to. I'm actually trying to stop fudge by explaining why he is trying to make up with you guys on whatever he did wrong. People are simply taking it the wrong way and assuming (wow I can't use the word as.suming without it changing) that he (and I) intend to create more drama. But by trying to stop more drama from starting, drama starts about stopping drama...

  7. @Ryan_Sebastian and @ShadowGhost2

stop trying to start fudge on here

if i were u guys i would lay low on the forums, u guys are just asking for fudge to happen to u.

So your saying that we should go away because someone didn't agree with an opinion of ours? That doesn't make us look hostile, it makes the community look hostile for not letting ideas and opinions be more open.

  8. God, this guy again?

As I said before, if youre opinion does not respect someone else, the opinion itself doesnt deserve to be respected.

That thread went to fudge, it became full of people fighting, salty fudge and people started joking about it. And every time I join a server people are fricking annoying and transphobic about it.

Stop acting like you're such an innocent person who deserves to be treated well.

And as others said before: So if my opinion is that Stalin was a bad person (obviously not respecting him) then my opinion doesnt deserve respect? Again on the topic of being able to voice your opinion, is that you are able to voice your opinion. If people take offense to it then that is their problem. Sure excessive harassment should be dealt with but that is not what happened before. BUT, for the sake of a shorter argument, let's say he did do something wrong. If this is the case then belittling him on trying to fix it is no answer. If anything he should get MORE respect for trying to right his wrong.

  9. Are you just asking for another ban? You know what you were doing inciting a ruckus in the other thread. This shouldnt have to be explained to you, and this thread is just an attempt to start another one.

How is he asking for another ban? He is just trying to figure out why he was the one banned instead of others in that thread.

  10. The hate was completely unnecessary. You wouldn't understand how it feels to come out if you're straight, so you can't say anything about it.

Anyway. @Hidingmaster is an amazing CL; if not the best in xG. I completely agree with posts being removed. All that Armin wanted was for us to call "him" a her instead, which is fine. Naturally, if you like the person, you would give them support and congratulating them for being brave by telling us a deep secret. If you randomly start derailing the thread and including disrespectful and pointless remarks, then your post deserves to be deleted and you deserve to be banned.

My intention for all of my replies had nothing to do with degrading @ArminArmout . Actually, it had nothing even regarding @ArminArmout other than one of his posts was the location of where it happened. I have stated multiple times that I was trying to EDUCATE the staff member on what he did wrong and NOT troll. For some reason anything that calls people out on their wrong doing is a crime and people who say otherwise are also just trolls.

  11. cheese with your whine

As in, "You want some cheese with your whine?" Said to people who whine excessively about some otherwise trivial bit of drama. Has a sort of you-had-it-coming flavor to it, and a strong implication from the speaker to the subject that now would be a really good time to shut up, because the whining is rally annoying the speaker.

Comes from that cheese is popular with wine, a beverage made of fermented fruit, and that whine is a homonym of wine.

"Oh, poor me, my steak arrived with not enough salt!" "Well, then, you want some cheese with your whine?"

So in my case you say that my wine does not taste good without cheese?

Why did I have it coming? It was a legitimate response to a comment that was made. For a forum this should not be as trivial as it is made out to be. The whole reason of a forum is to be a community and if the people running the community aren't doing their job correctly then the community isn't being run correctly. People in power need to be the "peace-keepers" if you will. If they do something wrong they need to admit the fact that they did it and try to correct it so it doesn't happen again.

  12. So I recently made a post on that previous thread I was talking about trying to describe how a staff member was in the wrong about a topic and after doing so he removed my comment and marked my next one as Salty. While, yes, I was Salty in my second comment, my first comment was legitimately explaining what he did wrong and educating him on how. This is an example of an abuse of power simply because I called him out. Everyone isn't perfect. People make bad decisions and are more often than not miss-informed, if he accepted that he was wrong then there would obviously be no problem but he took out the comment to make himself look better.

Staff who was abusing power: @Hidingmaster

  13. Some of you might see my account and notice that I have not been on this forum here very long. In fact this is my first thread. But I actually do hang out on the TS a lot with a couple of friends, some of which I have actually met on the TS server. This being said I hope that this does not invalidate my opinion on recent topics for recent bans.

Yesterday, a post was made called I Have Something Really Important To Say and it was focused on a transgender person "coming out" by the name of @ArminArmout. This thread brought about many people accepting and rejecting the main topic. The problem I see is that a user by the name of @Ryan_Sebastian was banned with the cause being Trolling/Harassment. Reading over the thread I don't see how he was Trolling in any way but for the topic of Harassment I can only convict him one time:

"...continue jerking it to ponies that 7 year olds watch." - @Ryan_Sebastian

In his defense he was provoked by multiple previous comments which he did nothing to impel. People were calling him a troll and being extremely disrespectful to him for voicing his opinion, which is in no way wrong. People might get offended, yes, but that does not constituted a ban. Authority should not abuse their power in such a manner for they are to be the ones that stay calm and come to conclusions that are just. Making rash decisions based on emotions at the time is in my eyes, completely unacceptable but is forgivable. If the authority continues to make such improper decisions, I believe that said user should not hold that position. This would keep the most fair and enjoyable community for everyone.

I don't want to go into detail on exactly how @Ryan_Sebastion should be one of the few who is NOT banned (I will if necessary) from that thread but to be clear he was the one being harassed and not the one harassing.
