Don't forget your sandwiches.

Hey. Me Forest. Me know you from before time.
-
Icri evreytiem. You promised me surf, I even tested with you (and still can't get through that one part). Sucks to see you resign though m8, you were one of the greats. I can understand why though, probably the same reason I did ;)

When it comes to freekilling or a CT ban, you need a recording as it is a much simpler way of catching these sort of acts. Reason being we do not know whether or not there were any orders given that you were pardoned over mic, therefore we cannot assume you were. With that in mind, just as Chrono so perfectly stated: I'll have to -1 due to the lack of evidence.

Welcome to XenoGamers m8, I'm Forest. Hope you enjoy your stay at xG, it's always great to see new faces :P

5:48 in the Demo is the round it happens. No orders were given when cells were open, thus an Invalid Freeday. First two were killed for pursuing offending CT. Both Freekilled. Third was killed (had a primary unholstered and reloading, and although the player was not shown, you can clearly hear the reloading of a P90 so it can be assumed it was out. With that in mind, if you were to play the clip and watch the round time, there is 2 seconds between the first sound of the reloading weapon and the first view of the player with the gun out.) MoTD states that if a Terrorist has a weapon out for more than 2 seconds, they are KoS. With the information gathered here, this was not a freekill and was justified. Fourth was freekilled for pursuing offending CT. Freekilled. In total, there were three freekills during one round which amounts to a mass freekill, regardless of whether the offending CT was in confusion or not, an intentional three freekills is an intentional mass freekill. +1 for a permanent CT ban.

If it's a joke and you're in on the joke, then it's harmless fun. Just don't flood the channel with kicking, otherwise it becomes a problem. If BlackRock was notified that it was no longer funny or being treated as a joke and did not stop, a stern talking-to is in order. If BlackRock was not aware that it was becoming an annoyance (In other words, was not told by Naru that it was bugging him) then it is not his fault. Bottom line is, if you and a friend are jokingly dicking around like this and you both realize it's being done in a playful manner there isn't much harm. If you start getting annoyed, then you should let the other know (preferably by saying something like: "Stop, it's starting to annoy me"). Merely asking "Why are you kicking me" when it was being done jokingly is only going to prompt another kick since you two were messing around, as how is the friend supposed to know you are being serious? Another alternative would be to just not use the "Server Kick" in the first place.

Don't personally know you (#NewFag), but I am quite familiar with your influence for "Furry Freedays" If I had the time I would be playing on CS:S Jailbreak, but unfortunately education/work/life > xG . You should hop on and play a few rounds though, for the sake of.. Nostalgia(?). Show these new folk how things were done back in the 'before time' when the Server was more entertaining ;)

Unfortunately, no as it would be considered favoritism to let one Terrorist be excused from the activity (with the exception that they earned it in a game such as trivia)

If you don't have active and dedicated regulars on a Server, nothing will be achieved. Nothing. Hub won't change that More Servers won't change that Consistent threads from Members or Players regarding this won't change that Like DrLee mentioned: Ingenuity. Creativity. Patience. Dedication. Four requirements of a happy Server that I am sorry to say are lacking in most of our playerbase. Concentrate on one thing, and work at it. Server too boring? Start getting more enthusiastic and spontaneous. Do things that are out of the "norm". Who cares if you end up dying more, it makes it a much more enjoyable experience for players to see someone having a good time who emanates a sense of "fun". Repetitive Wardens? Do something about it by calling Warden. Have some fun, do things that may end up with your CTs demise (I know, it isn't your job to get them killed). Doing so will get the T side more actively involved and they'll be more likely to have more fun. Don't do votes to see what they want to do as that kills the creativity. Too quiet? Not enough action going on? Liven things up. Mock the Warden, mention some fun things to do, make our players feel welcome to the Server by actively talking or saying things like "This guy (random player) is my best friend now, and if he dies, so help me god I'll avenge him". Chances are that player will feel more welcomed to the Server. Little to no people on the Servers? If you aren't busy and have nothing planned early the next day, why not grab a couple friends and mess around on Jailbreak or RPG surf, or have at you. Dedicate 1-2 hours of your time every day at a certain time frame (Morning, Afternoon, Evening). This is called dedication. There are times where if you have the right attitude and are enthusiastic, you can have the Server grow from just two people to 14 in the middle of the night. (I have done this many times, it takes effort and patience.) All in all, the only way to make a difference is to do it yourself. Don't wait on others to do it for you. If you want to make improvements to the Server, you can do it by changing your outlook on everything and doing something. This applies to anyone in general, not anyone specifically.

As Shadowspy said, copy+paste isn't valid evidence as any part of that could have been edited to your liking. If you want solid chatlogs, you can grab them from Xeno Gamers - Rankings which you can then either screenshot or post the link, however; since this is a CT ban I doubt that will provide much evidence. With that said, it seems he was trying to determine whether or not it was a freekill by asking if you were frozen. Doesn't seem like you ever replied, unless via mic or some other way. If @@DeathGod was present and the offender was over-the-top freekilling/breaking server rules, I'm fairly certain DG would have CT banned the offending player for a pre-determined amount of time. +/-0 due to the lack of evidence, but I would like to hear DG's input on the matter.

I.. I think a lot of people are missing the point

I'm really hoping that wasn't his dad. There are so many inconsistencies in the post itself that even I would be ashamed if my father posted it looking like that. Alright "XenoRabbit", let's say you have it figured out. That's all fine and dandy, but the fact of the matter is that you were banned for Mass Freekilling, one of the more severe cases of CT bans. Whether or not this was intentional (I strongly urge Staff Members to mark a CT ban with an (I) when someone mass freekills intentionally to prevent these sort of situations; IE: !ctban Forest 0 (I) Mass Freekilling) is unclear, and because of that sole factor, it would be unfair to deem this act as intentional. However, given your past history of breaking rules, I would suggest to the CS:S Division to keep an eye on this particular player and take notes of his behaviour and knowledge of the MoTD Rules before unbanning them. I myself -1 for an immediate unban, because even though the player has been banned for a while, a certain trust level needs to be established before an unban may/should be considered. I'd recommend at least 2 weeks of surveillance (depending on the activity of the player). Just my opinion on the whole matter. - Dat guy, Forest
-
Wait on the decision of the CS:S Higher-Ups. Impatient behaviour won't get you unbanned any sooner, they need to weigh the pros/cons.

#ForeverTheCoolGuy You won't be forgotten bbygrl

^. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the CS:S Higher-Ups want to enforce permanent CT bans (in regards to intentionally mass freekilling). Could throw out many examples, but I won't. -1 due to the intentionality of this offence. As with most other reports, this is nothing against you personally ShyGuy, you're a great dude.

Like every other Player, Member or Ex-Member posting a thread regarding this exact same thing, regardless of the Division, complaining won't solve anything. I'm sorry to say, but the problem is the lack of initiative to populate it yourself (to anyone in general, not you specifically). Like Chrono perfectly said, throwing complaints left right and center won't help. Most of us have a life and can't just cater to xG specifically all day, every day. Get a group of friends to make an arrangement to be on the Server at certain times of the day for the next few weeks or even couple of months. The only "curse" here is the lack of determination to make a change. Again, like Chrono said, it's a vicious cycle of no friends being on, boredom, and shortly afterward the pursuit of another game to fill that empty void.
