  1. I probably won't play the game, but seeing that just makes me think "Oh hey, another fire/fighter type as a starting pokemon."
  2. You can refer to the last Community Night I held in terms of servers. Don't. Do. Gungame. First. Seriously, that shit is chaotic and crazy. Keep the competitive servers near the end of the server rotation when the numbers will slim down enough so it's not a total gong show. I suggest Deathrun or Minigames to be up near the top, maybe even Jailbreak since they are more focused on having fun. Just my thoughts on it. Glad to see someone taking the initiative and hosting one, it's about time! :P

    XenoGamers Newsletter #1

During this month, I may make a few random polls on certain players to give out titles (if it's okay with @@Rhododendron . Just silly titles like "Doesn't Lift" with Member status still attached). Y'know, make things a little more interesting and fun on Forums :P
  6. Hello Players and Members of Xeno Gamers! Forest here to report that we have had a great month with a few accomplishments I'd like to make known to everyone. So without further ado; 1st and foremost, our Garry's Mod Division has been making a come-back (as I'm sure you are all aware) and the TTT Server has been able to maintain a high amount of players daily! A great big thanks to Fuzz and Skitzofrenly for all of their hard work in populating our Garry's Mod Division as well as taking the responsibility of bringing it back to it's former glory (and then some)!! For those of you anxiously waiting for our Dark RP server to be up and running, our Division Leaders only ask that you wait a little bit longer. Remember; they aspire to make it the best of the best, near perfection, so it will take some time, some effort, a little elbow grease, and of course, a lot of support from the community! Once again, a huge thank you to our Garry's Mod Division Leaders! ______________________________________________________________________ 2nd, I would like to thank those of you who took part in the first Xeno Gamers Drawing (which may be one of the first of many to come). Remember guys and gals, this sort of event benefits Xeno Gamers and only requires that you donate 5$ in exchange for both Donator status as well as the chance to win up to 100$!! I would also like to congratulate Chrono, our current Division Leader of Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, who was able to win the Drawing with a pretty sweet cash prize of 42$. ______________________________________________________________________ 3rd, I would like to mention a Member of our community who has been a great help to Xeno Gamers in scraping by through donations. A great big thank-you to ForestJr (daddiodoug) for the amount of donations that at one point saved the CS:S Servers from being shut-down. Even before that, donations by this Member were given. Surely, ForestJr was last month's Donator of the Month and deserves a round of applause! I would also like to mention that he has taken it upon himself to aid Silence in possibly funding a coder in order to get hub up and running for the Counter-Strike:Source Division. ______________________________________________________________________ Last month's achievements were surely great indeed, and hopefully there will be much more happening this month in August, so stay tuned! - Dat guy, Forest

    Dayz

The reason that it was ditched was because of the imminent standalone. It just seems that putting money into a server on a game that is about to have a large "upgrade" isn't worthwhile, especially when it was coming out of the pocket of one of our member's @@ForestJr.
  8. Nigguh, if you lived here I'd have a beer with you since 19 is the legal drinking age in BC. Happy b'day bud :wacky:
  9. The last thing we would want is to give you the impression that we were calling the shots because as Division Managers, what we say goes and that was our only reasoning. It should have been mentioned that it was something that involved our players as well as ourselves, and for that I apologize for not mentioning it sooner.
  10. Yes, I have had players message me regarding these sort of days questioning if it's valid and, that if it was, that it was "stupid". I have also made note of players who actually left the server during one of these days, most likely due to confusion and possibly being upset at how unfair or disadvantageous it was. It wasn't a substantial loss, but I noted a max of 4 players leaving. We want to attract players, not push them away. The decisions we make (DMs) influence the server, they aren't only made because we ourselves think they are wrong (at least, I don't). It is done with the community in mind, as it should be. With all that in mind, @@DarkWolf6052 @@Gkoo @@Hidingmaster @@HighSociety for any further input. Input, not flaming/griefing or arguments.
  11. You disobeyed direct orders not to do these sort of days/actions by Higher-Ups, and proceeded to do them; even when given a warning that a demotion may be in order should they continue. You're going on like a broken-record and just re-stating the same thing over and over. You're over thinking things way too much. This isn't entirely about breaking rules, and I don't think you are getting that. It's about the decision you made to carry on these sort of things when told not to. Instead of bringing it up with any other Higher-Up to discuss or even serbian for that matter, you acted irrationally and proceeded to do them, knowing full-well what the consequences may be because you believed it was within the boundaries. If I get a reply regarding the same exact thing you just posted throughout this thread, I won't even reply; and that's not because I won't listen. It's because you won't listen. You were not demoted strictly for rule breaking. You were demoted because you were not respecting what the Division Managers had warned you about and you acted irrationally by ignoring those warnings.
  12. I enjoy using Internet Explorer sometimes. Some might say I'm masochistic.
  13. Forest

    who's the faggot?

Kill yourself. needs to be bigger Nigguh, that's already a full 2 inches.
  14. Why can't I photosynthesise?
  15. Navigate yourself to your "cstrike" folder. It will have automatically saved there with the name "Record hellbott.dem". Moved this thread to the appropriate section (Ban Request).
  16. It's simply that. You should be on spec if there is an abundance of rule breakers, or if you plan on being afk for a bit. There should be no reason and definitely no motive of catching a Member/Staff Member slacking off for the sole purpose of getting them demoted or punished. The game is meant to be enjoyed, it's not supposed to be taken as some sort of job. Unfortunately, it's getting to that point because of our Staff feeling that they are being evaluated in everything they do if a Higher-Up is sitting in spec. It's like being constantly watched by your Manager. You're going to feel pretty anxious and you won't be having much fun at all (no, not implying jobs are fun, hue). Now, I will state here and now that Darkwolf was not the only one to make the decision, I had a part in doing so as well. He was given appropriate warnings for his actions and was told not to do any of the following: Loophole rules/regulations in any form or way. This means using the "two entrances+" in Wardays to your advantage in making an unfair and ultimately an "un-fun" day for the players that may result in freekilling/confusion Positioning Terrorists in a location that will either: A. Result in large amounts of Ts being killed or B. Indirectly and inadvertently provoking Terrorists into Rebelling which also results in freekills/freeshooting. This wouldn't be a problem if it didn't play off of two rules we have, these being that: 1. You may not order Terrorists to Rebel and 2. You may not order Terrorists to their death. Granted, it's not there in fine print, but you are inadvertently either ordering Ts to their death or to Rebel (depending on where they are positioned) Failure to heed the warnings are what resulted in his untimely demotion. In no way was part of the decision made based on biased information (I can't vouch for Darkwolf's intentions) by myself as one of the Division Managers of the CS:S Division.
  17. The reason you were considered for Demotion and not a CT ban is simply because you are a Staff Member as well as a Member of xG. I'm sorry to say, but there is a form of hierarchy here. It is to be expected that as an Administrator (someone of a far higher rank of a normal player) you know what is right from wrong. Disobeying a Higher-Up is not something that will end well, nor will a CT ban suffice. When a Higher-Up is telling you something is wrong and should not be practised any longer, you should probably stop whatever it is you're doing. If you believe that it's right, then take it up with another Higher-Up (Co-Leader or Division Leader or other Division Managers) and solve it. The worst thing you could possibly do is continue doing it (when you were warned that a demotion may occur should you continue your actions) just because you believe it's fine. You were completely aware of what would happen should you continued, and you continued doing so. Just to point out, this whole ordeal was not due to your Fr/Lr, so do not use that as one of the reasons to fight back. It's not so much your actions that have led to these consequences so much as it is your attitude as well. We get it, you're an old member and you know the rules. But that doesn't mean you can use your "old-member" card as leverage to prove that you're right. Things change, rules change, management changes. With those changes, it is expected that guidelines are altered and edited. You and I both know that things have changed pretty drastically, and I'm sure others do as well. However; you should not disobey direct warnings as told by Higher-Ups without expecting some form of consequence or punishment. You are an active member of the community, far more active then many others. You should be able to earn your rank back. It's not the end of the world. @@DarkWolf6052 You are a Division Manager. The last thing I want to see is Players/Members telling me that you are conspiring to get a Staff Member demoted because you have a problem with them. Do not abuse your rank, you are to be unbiased at all times, as with any other Staff Member. TL;DR - You loopholed and disobeyed Higher-Ups when warned that a demotion may occur should it continue happening. You are a Staff Member. A player who disobeys a Mod/Admin doesn't know better and therefore only gets CT banned or Server banned. You do not have that luxury, you have a status to uphold and disobeying Higher-Ups is a serious offence. Earn your rank back, it shouldn't be difficult. - Dat guy, Forest
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I'm 20 minutes late. Gg

    who's the faggot?

Yeah that's fucked up. Chrono 100% had more posts than I did.
  20. There was no conspiracy, the last thing I'd want to do is give money to that baddie when he calls me names. It hurts muh feels. No, but seriously. Chrono wanted me to place the hat on top of my head so I couldn't see into it, thus forcing me to show my face. So instead, I held it behind my back to prove I would not be able to see it when picking a name, thus allowing me to keep my face hidden. Ggnore. Also, I may not make this a monthly thing. I realized that if more people were to potentially join in, I'd be dishing out 100$ a month. It may just be a bi-monthly thing, or a "whenever I have money and feel like it" thing.
  21. It's actually 11:30 where I'm at. I'll congratulate you in 30 mins bb grl
  22. +/-0 for the time being. I want to see an improvement in attitude as well as responsibility before considering a 1-up. Mass freekilling on another server when you are affiliated with XenoGamers gives us a bad name, which is not something we need at any point. I don't know why Members are thinking it's something that is alright to do so long as they remove tags (It's not like they can trace your Steam ID to your page and check out your past aliases or anything like that, right? That's just silly). If these sort of things happen again (with anyone in general), just let it be known that if we get a single complaint from the host of that server or community regarding mass freekilling, you will be stripped of Membership and will not be eligible to re-apply for it. Also this whole fiasco between you and @@Warriorsfury is really starting to take it's toll. Not only does it demonstrate that you two can't let bygones be bygones, but it also shows me that you aren't able to take criticism from an individual. If you two can't work it out then so be it, don't bring it onto forums by going onto each other's threads and instigating. This is not something that we want in our community. If you can't be the bigger man and say "This isn't even worth my time, why should I stoop to this guy's level" then you are lacking maturity. If you are also continuously harassing a member of our community because you don't like them (just looking at your profile page makes it obvious) that also shows a lack of maturity. Until I see noticeable improvements in: Maturity Responsibility Attitude I will remain at a +/-0. Sorry bby - Dat guy, Forest
  23. @@Rhododendron would be great if you could add a function on Forums so you can decide between getting alerts for Ratings or not getting alerts from Ratings like Bleed suggested. Also, if spam is an issue, as mentioned by Super, @@Rhododendron could always just set it so that you can't rate a post from the same person within a certain amount of time (For example: Rated Warriors' post "African". Now you cannot rate another post made by Warriors for another 5 minutes). Granted, it won't completely stop spam in general, but it will stifle it unless the person spamming has 5 minutes to waste for each notification given.
  24. Before I continue with this thread, I would like to congratulate our winner of the XenoGamers Drawing; Chrono! Click Here for the XenoGamers Drawing Information Now, judging by the sheer amount of people who were interested, xG was able to make a somewhat large amount of donations, which is great! Unfortunately, not a lot of people attended this event in terms of entering to win cash, so the donations could have been higher and the jackpot higher as well. Depending on the amount of people who enjoyed the event and would like to see it happen again, this sort of event may happen Monthly(?). What this means is that players/members may have a chance to win up to 100$ a month by simply donating 5$ to XenoGamers during the appropriate times. The Drawing we just had only had 6 entries (6 people who joined), which means 6 x 2$ equalling an addition of 12$ to the minimum 30$ jackpot. Therefore, the winner received 42$ in winnings. Had more people joined, the grandprize would only grow. There are No catches to this event. The money is then transferred wireless to either an Email Address or to a Paypal. I want everyone's opinion/input on this event. Remember, your input will determine whether or not this may become a monthly(?) event, or whether it may never happen again! - Dat guy, Forest
