They already have the privilege of wearing the [xG-Rep] clan tag if they are in the group, this doesn't make them a Member so much as it makes them a supporter. Those who want to be recognized as a full Member have to apply to be one on Forums, and are given the rights to have "xG" in their actual name.
 
I see no problem other than hostile Staff, and if that's the case, screenshot the Staff Member and call them out on it. Players should feel welcomed to the Server, not ridiculed.

I think the hipster british guy in this thread needs to take a stroll down /r/MensFashionAdvice lane. The only thing that attitude is good for is scaring away the fresh young pussy that I deal with daily.

I may not be an xG member just yet, but, given the evidence shown above (Ideally the last photo), it seems there was no reason for a Kick regarding Disrespect. I can vouch for the unnecessary kick, as I was currently in the game, and Dr. Strange Love showed no signs of aggressive or disrespectful behavior. As for the reaction to the Kick, I can understand how Dr. Strange Love would react as the Kick was clearly unnecessary. If it were me, I can't say that I would react the same way, but I would DEFINITELY be frustrated and rather upset with the Kick. Also, regarding the newly introduced Disrespect Policy, it is somewhat apparent that some mods (I cannot name any at this time) have been as one would say "abusing it". It is nearly impossible to tell whether or not someone is joking when using a written message. For instance, one can argue that the following sentence is disrespectful: "You're a faggot. Haha" But it could just as easily have been sarcasm or a joke. There's not much that I can say regarding this, as I am not an xG member. But, with regards to Dr. Strange Love's dilemma, I think it was an un-just Kick as well as an unfair ban.

Yup, i'm finally applying to xG. Finally being out of school allowed me to make the time to do this, and i'm hoping i'll be accepted into xG within atleast a week or two.. xG: JB is just my crack, just sayin'.

No one should disrespect anyone in a way that is seen as offensive to the victim (to a certain extent of what 'disrespect' is deemed). At the same time, Staff is expected not to act on impulse and to abide by the guidelines provided properly.

Does a great job as a Staff Member (strictly speaking from first-hand experience of Vector being an ex-Staff Member on CS:S Servers), however his behavior and attitude toward certain situations/scenarios is something that seems disruptive to me. I understand that being a Staff Member can have its ups and downs, and a large portion of players can be incredibly ignorant or stupid, but acting professionally and giving collected responses (without the need for hostile comments or criticisms) is something to be expected from xG Staff. With that said, Vector isn't the only Staff Member who acts this way, but that doesn't excuse for the sort of behavior demonstrated. +/-0

Although it kind of depends on what games you mainly want to play, since different games make use of different ratios of CPU to GPU performance. That being said, the FX-6300 can do basically everything but max out GTA IV.
 
I mean, you have $400 as a budget so you're already better off than the kids on minecraft forums wanting to upgrade from their peashooter GT610's and such. If you're able to , the GTX 970 that you've already chosen is a great card. AMD Cards have finally come down in price after the whole cryptocurrency hype, so you could snag a 280x for cheap if you'd like (although don't buy used).
