I got my name back when the Wii was a new thing, I made a throwaway Mii to test out the system fully intending to make a better suited one, I had one of those tubs of mixed nuts and was feeling particularly uncreative. Time passed and I still used the throwaway. Fast forward to when I needed an email for something (I forget what) and I used the mrnutty12 name because the one I had wanted was already taken. From there mrnutty12 just became my default name for anything to this day.

I can understand that, but some people have really good reactions and such. I agree with Bello, the guy doesn't look too stupidly suspicious/obvious. Though if I were a frequent mod on TGH I would keep on eye on him for suspicion sake.

I am all for people making abuse threads if they think a staff member is out of line, and even if we do find you innocent you could learn something like in this case, you could explain to the people in the server why you did what you did, and possibly copy a quote from the official rules thread. It avoids unnecessary threads and help keep people up on the rules. However, on the flip side the reporting users should also grab more evidence then they think they should have (IMO) just to be extra clear and obvious that the staff member in question is abusing powers as well as reference the official rules to make sure it isn't just a rarely enforced rule (like this max lr time rule). As for this case, it seems like something of a seldom enforced rules being carried out by a non-communicative Floppy. Next time, Floppy explain why you took those actions if they think you abused power.

I have a love hate relationship with surf_mesa. On one hand I love it for surfing casually and just talking because it is a pretty map to look at whilst surfing, but I hate it because it is a nightmare to moderate and it goes directly against other purpose of the server, being a skill surf map in a combat surf server. Regardless of my feelings on the map, your ideas to solve the problem with it also throw out what our server is about which would be surf + combat and not just surf. As a result, I am going to go ahead and -1 this because you basically need staff on to enforce rules because otherwise nobody leaves spawn and engineer buildings pepper the track because you can build down there. Besides, people can just ask us DMs and DLs to change it is they want the map so bad atm.

If we had the mappers on hand, yes as it is a map-side feature. In fact certain maps DO have that feature to stop pesky little cheaters, but not all of them. So, essentially we are stuck with the problem of the mappers from times unknown being unavaliable to fix a little exploit with jumper weapons.

Sadly no, as the server has no way of knowing who has been where. To have it map side the mapper would have to edit it, and we don't have the people who make surf maps on call; especially given some of them are from before TF2 was a game (eg. CS:S maps). Even if we could call them up I doubt there are tools in hammer that can stop knockback, but don't quote me on that.

While he can be a bit abrasive (whether jokingly or not) Tuna is usually pretty well behaved and follows the rules pretty well. +1 A: 8 M:7

If he is raiding steam profiles, you could just delete his comments and ignore him, or I think you could block all communication with that user (unsure what that does for profile posts). I would say wait for him to return and then make the call based on his behavior post-ban.
