  1. Hello yes hi as some of you may know Caleb has been working on getting our ff2 fixed and up and running and the goal is to have the server up and running sometime this month Currently we are looking for suggestions for things being added, such as bosses, maps, ff2 specific rule changes, etc and me personally I say we need to add more unique/cool bosses as alot of our bosses do the same things, having bosses with custom models too is a big plus as they're very cool If you have any suggestions for what we should add you can either send send caleb a message on discord/steam with the suggestion or post below in this thread Thanks for reading, suggest away gamers!
  2. If you're like me and use reactions a lot, you have probably noticed how annoying it is. First of all, choosing a reaction feels like a crappy coolmathgames maze where you have to move your mouse carefully without touching the edge, because if you mouse goes slightly off the thin reactions bar, you're screwed and have to do it all again. The second problem is when I click somebody's profile to react to their status, the bar/tab goes off the screen, which means I have to 'CTRL -' and then it also makes the maze even harder as not only is the reactions tab thinner compared to your mouse, but also smaller, and no that doesn't make choosing a reaction at the end any easier because of the "short" distance. It would be better if the reactions bar was click-based rather than hover based (click to open the bar, then click on the reaction you wish to use), and also if the current 32 reactions were in a 4x8 bar instead of the current 1x32. MAKE xG GREAT AGAIN!
  3. this rule is absolutely and indubitably pathetic and retarded, especially when it occurs in a populous server (surf and tgh at this point). it disappoints me when everybody talks at once and many of staff go apepoop, and as time passes it gets crazier. it happens all of the time when a discussion is currently taking place. either everybody talking at once comes to the epiphany that they're all talking over each other and they all hesistate, which stops the talking, or the people will commence the talking, and in this case, it wreaks havoc. better to not have it as a server rule to give people more freedom while talking on the mic, which brings a more social and friendly atmosphere, and to further shun the staff from having such a hard time with the ongoing issue. it occurs almost every single day i come on surf, but i'm not sure about tgh regarding the issue. a rule where people are not allowed to talk over each other only makes things worse. let them talk, regardless of the amount of people talking. i don't want to hear "don't talk over people" every minute, which not only pisses people off, but it also delays most of the conversations that the server has, this delay being (x) admin giving a poop and talking in (y) tone that talking over people is not allowed. imagine going to a huge party. you hear everybody around you talk, the music is loud, and everybody is having a fun time. you're hearing all of this noise, and if people are going to complain about people talking over each other, then maybe you should go outside. some others can view this controversial topic as a "lack of respect" for talking over somebody about to say something, but in a video game, latency exists, and it can't be compensated for when people are talking. this "lack of respect" can be intentional and non-intentional, and i'm sure the most of you guys can tell whether it was on purpose or completely on accident. otherwise, the victim is just being sarcastic. i understand that servers have their own rules and it's equivalent to going to a night club or any other local area with a myriad of people, but i've never been to any other server that enforces that rule, and if i see any reason being because the server is more unique that way, i'm going to cry.
  4. I was watching a stream today when the server the streamer was playing on started to do this: After counting down it did the map select menu when you !rtv as normal. I think if we can get something like this on our servers it would prove to be a really handy thing since I've noticed a bunch of people complain in the past about switching weapons with 1 2 and 3 and then ending up voting for a map instead of changing weapon, so they end up possibly dying or being a bit annoyed. Something like this would really help stop that from happening! Maybe a possible sound que too, like the announcer counting down from 5 to 1! Thoughts?
  5. okay so my idea is we add a timer to the surf server and we have a scoreboard for the fastest times. The scores would get wiped at the end of the week or something like that. maybe an overall high score. people submit their highscore with a screenshot on steam or something like that. I think it would create compitition for the more experienced surfers.
  6. I was trying to remind myself several times to suggest the recreated Overwatch map of Watchpoint: Gibraltar, but kept forgetting, so here the thread is. Somebody recreated Watchpoint: Gibraltar on the steam workshop, and since it's a map relating to a popular video game, and a shooter at that, I thought I'd suggest it.
  7. This is a thread for what YOU GUYS want fixed/added on CS:GO maps on our Community Servers. Please try to not turn this thread into anything that it's not, it's ONLY for suggestions for maps! Formatting If you'd like to make a suggestion, please state the full map name, ex. jb_nexzoid_xg. State, as specifically as you can, the suggestion. (Screen shots are always appreciated!) Formatting Example: On jb_nexzoid_xg, could you fix %s and %s? Oh here are some screenshots to help! Could you add a %s to jb_parabellum_go? I'll be editing in the changes I've made to what maps. Changes: 9/24/16 4:57 PM @Sizz Added the feature for the Cell button to open iso. You can also now toggle Isolation On and Off, if you weren't able to before.
  8. So, i remember when xG Surf had Mesa on it's map list for a short while, but it was taken off because it ran into issues due to the fact it was one main spawn for both teams. Well, I was thinking about possibilities to fix the spawnkilling issue so that everybody could enjoy the lovely map that is surf_mesa. The possibilities i have in mind are: -Implement a plugin that forces everybody into friendly mode for that certain map (if that's possible) -Make it so that the invincibility of each player lasts until they leave the spawn area (once again, only if it's possible) -Force everyone on the same team for the map So the three ideas above are what could be done if it's possible, and wouldn't have that many implications (I'm assuming?). One idea that is realistic but might be looked down upon is that the rule of "No Spawnkilling" could have an exception for maps of this nature, and people could simply do !friendly if they don't want to die. I know there are a quite a bit of people who would like Mesa back, but this is still just a suggestion. Thanks for reading. NOTE: I am suggesting to reimplement mesa, not just change the rule for other maps like it, if that was not already crystal clear.

  10. This map includes: Breakable windows! (in the Pokétower) Music from the FR and LG Lavender Town A music off button, for when you're feeling not so nostalgic. Routes 8 and 10! (because just the town would've been too small) And plenty of health and ammo kits! 11. I just think it would be a nice feature that could help people that can’t read the chats easily, or for people who just rather have the text bolded.
  12. I really think that we should be able to use the noisemaker tools. Especially in the Pokemon Server :D
