I think Cyberpunk can be annoying because there are so many chokepoints and camping spots, but it's also fun because it's different from any other map (except maybe the 'city' map that some trade servers use) and makes you rethink a lot of strategies. I like the party room too; it's fun as long as people don't kill you. I'm gonna have to go with a -1 for removal. Edit: When I say -1 for removal, I actually mean +1 for keeping it. Just to clarify lol.

Should be just a few weeks, I think. Geez guys, Bach may be a troll sometimes, but he isn't outright malicious. I wasn't there, but based on the testimony of others it sounds like he was testing a mod for educational purposes only. Based on this comment, it seems like Bach was giving Scoot and others in the TS3 chat a "vaccine" against hackers of that nature -- showing them how the hack works without actually causing any harm or abusing its power. Plus, it was in a controlled environment and supervised by at least one DM. So really, Bach was helping prevent future problems, not causing trouble. As for the forum trolling/spam/whatever, I haven't seen that either, but based on the comments in this thread I feel like it was fairly innocent. He didn't get forum banned for spouting off racist comments or something like that. Yes, he was trolling. Yes, he broke some forum rules. I'm not saying he should get special treatment just because he's our friend or because he was formerly a DM/CL. I just don't think that this situation warrants a year-long ban, much less a permban. (Ban the alt account if you want, idc.) But hat's just my opinion. I'll leave it up to you guys.

This would be a tough decision for me were he applying for mod. However, while Vaporeon might come off as offensive or salty sometimes, I think he ultimately has the community's interests at heart and wants to make sure rules are enforced, blah blah whatever. Have a +1. :D M: 8/10 A: 9/10

This guy has been on the server for quite a long time. In that time, he has set a good example for the other players and hasn't badmouthed anyone that I know of. While he doesn't get on every day, he is still very active on the server and I usually see him at some point during my play sessions. I think he should have applied a long time ago . . . +1 A:8 M:10

Well, context really determines my view on the matter. If someone said "bronies are (insert crude word here)", I'm totally cool with them being muted. If someone said "the Redskins are a good football team", there is no acceptable reason to mute them, no matter how wrong they may be. ;) Edit: Jk Redskins are okay

I don't intend to cause a flame war, but muting players that "make fun of certain 'groups'" isn't exactly abuse. Regardless of whether you are black, white, gay, straight, or furry, nobody wants to be made to feel inferior or stupid. Light, playful mocking is acceptable, but if someone on the server continually insulted bronies and the like, I can understand why they were muted. Maybe race and homosexuality are more 'controversial' or 'politically correct' topics, but that doesn't mean other groups are any less important. From my understanding, we strive to be a friendly, inclusive community, and if Vaporeon was muting brony-haters then I think he was doing a good job.

I'm kinda confused on the whole Vaporeon thing, and I'm sure I'm not the only one besides Vaporeon who would like further explanation about why he was demoted. While I understand the other promos/demos (and congrats to Skull and Deth :D), Vaporeon is active, friendly, and responsible. I haven't seen any abuse reports yet. Are haters just pming complaints to you guys, instead of standing up and reporting him? I had a similar experience where I was suddenly removed from my school's Student Senate with no specific explanation, despite my excellent contributions to the team. Their reason was that I "wasn't active enough". I assume you guys are better about this than they were and give moderators advance notice and reasonable explanation, in order for them to explain themselves or correct their behavior. I'm confident that I'm not the only one surprised at Vaporeon's sudden demotion. I understand you have your reasons and have a deeper understanding of the community's needs than I do, but please help me understand why a respected member of the community is suddenly relieved of his position. I don't mean to cause trouble -- I'm just confused. Thank you for your time in reading this message. ~Hero

Very active on Pokémon (likely as active as I am), funny and laid-back, open and friendly to everyone. Very mature and hasn't badmouthed anyone to my knowledge. Ask around, I've been on Goldenrod almost every day. :)

If you're just talking about xG servers, I'm active on the Pokemon Trade Center (Goldenrod) and Jailbreak servers as well. I play on non-xG servers too, but I usually fall back on the xG N64tress and Goldenrod servers.

New to the forums, not sure if this is the right place to post, but here goes: Some guy was on the Goldenrod server around 6:30pm EST or so making really offensive comments about race, 9/11 and other very sensitive topics. He also kept changing his name to various offensive phrases. You can correlate my story to Glaceon, Jolteon, or any of the others who frequent the server. His Steam profile is at Steam Community :: Judenjaeger: Hunter of Jews While I don't have much visual evidence, I have the aforementioned witnesses to verify and I think you can browse his previous profile names at the above link. Therefore, I propose that he be banned to prevent further incidents as this one. Thank you. ~Champion
