Hey guys, I noticed during the last time I played on the CS:GO Servers that there were a few things that stood apart as possible issues or things that could be clarified or given a deeper meaning in the rules. I'll try to keep my best to keep this basic and organized, so without further ado:
 
 
1. Gun Check Freeze

Why would you even make a thread about this? This is over and done. There's no need to complain anymore. The basic thing is you said not to face VIP, but to face main cells. Me and mobin were both facing the top right corner of the main cell's, you should have been more specific, with someone like; " All T's must be facing North " or something along those lines.

I was recently playing vip in the mix (the jb map), and I was the warden. I ordered the t's to face main cells at all times while unstacked shoulder to shoulder at the bottom of main cell stairs. Mobin and mogs were fighting against me that vip was part of main cells. And because of this they were facing in the direction of vip. I killed them for this and I was slayed because apparently they were facing on the top right cell right next to vip. I think that me being slayed was bs because from my point of view it looked like they were facing vip. I think it should be implied that they should be facing the cells right behind the cell stairs. If this is not already in the rules, it should be.

Thanks for all the replies! Also I dont think I should be staff until I play alot more, although I do play in the morning and stuff when 95% of staff aren't on at those times. Shadowspy I do like how you play the most (well when I play). And I will report peopl most of the time but for normal freekills its so hard because I have to have a long clip to show them freekill and not slay and/or have multiple clips of them doing it.

The catch is, activity =/= quality. Sure we have active players, but a majority of them simply aren't old enough/mature enough to be staff (in my opinion at least). Another problem is that nobody is really applying, and the ones who do are mostly ignored. Charles and DMT should definitely be staff (in my opinion at least x2), but their apps are just kinda sitting there...
 
I have a proposed fix to these problems:
 
Reintroducing !call and the steam bot. Tf2 has it, we had it, and it would be a very effective way to make the current staff more active. For the mean time, members should probably add staff and pester them to get on. If anything, whenever I'm asked I always either get on or attempt to get other staff on if I cannot.

The reason we have swapteam is for these instances. You don't just serverban right after 2 freekills if they're accidental. I'd even bet that most admins would only slay, and just teamban for the next freekill.

Any further bans I see that do not have a valid reason will be immediately unbanned, without consultation of the banning admin. This includes but is not limited to "are you fuking retarded?", "wtf are you thinking", and "wtf is wrong with you"

Okay, so I didn't know this was a server ban, I figured this was a teamban. In that case, I fully +1 this, as I don't ban people from the server for free killing unless they leave before punishment ( On CSS it was 1fk+leave was a day ban, 2fk+leave was a week, and mass+leave is permanent, I haven't been put in the whole 1 or 2fk and leave situation yet, but if I am wrong on those times, other than the mass one, just correct me @Bleed )

You should try recording demos they are smaller file size and then you can just throw them in Dropbox and share them.... instead of the hours it takes to process and upload to youtube and then process more... just my 2 pennies @mobinblack

While I would like to commend you on all the reports, and clear reform from what originally had you receive a few teambans in the first place, could I ask that instead of making your video titles things like "Ban this moron" or "ban this idiot" and other derogatory words, just put the persons name and what they did in the title, it also would probably help you not have the same video title in the future. and also to please refrain from making several different posts, instead opt for a single post that gets all your thoughts out, and dont worry about spelling. there's always editing it after it posts if you want. @mobinblack

Now, to answer your issue.
 
Staff are not paid to moderate the server. There is no reason they have to be cautiously watching every action that goes on to catch rule breakers. They are allowed to go afk, do other things. Nobody is required to answer every single complaint.
 
I can't see the picture for some reason, so whatever evidence you have I can't accurately include in my response; but based off the other responses it shows nothing of great interest.
 
Tldr: Whether or not a staff member did something wrong, approach it with respect. I can't see anything grossly wrong with what he did, thus no action should be taken.
 
Edit: Staff SHOULD answer a great majority of the complaints, but the can't and won't get to all.

Staff can't act upon something they don't see. If you call us on AFTER you're freekilled, we didn't see it. Also, there's such a thing as some staff being busy/afk.
 
I'm not sure what you said to him, but for example, when someone tells me something like"SLAY HIM YOU PIECE OF SHIT SADFASDGASDFGASDG" i don't find it a top priority to slay that other person, they should handle it in a calm, or atleast mature, way. If you see staff not doing their jobs, record it. Or if none can get on, record the freekiller.

I'm going to go ahead and say that this is nothing personal, but I just want people to know.
 
Freekilling and massing, terrible things, should not be accepted. As well when that occurs it should be handled, and some staff doesn't do that and others just don't respond when you do have a problem, acting as if they are better or simple don't give a sh*t. One example of this is when you message Odin and have a legitimate problem he simple doesn't respond.
 
But earlier when I had a problem, freekiller by the name of kek, shot me as I was exiting my cell on a take a step out and freeze order, I sidestepped out and froze, was instantly shot. It took odin 3 rounds to respond to me and then tell me he wasn't going to do anything because I was "freaking" out. That's not right, I don't care if you are a moderator or an admin, its f*cked.
 
Can I please get in contact with the division leader or a REAL admin, preferably someone that knows what they are doing and respects other?
