also how does the TF2 div handle players purchasing say a custom title?, do they just ask the player to donate via the donate tab and then grant them a title once they show their paypal transaction receipt?

Because I plan to have individual donator perks from the cosmetics chest available from $2 - $10 depending on the perk. So players have an option to buy what they want instead of buying the entire donator package.

Most of this looks great, i do have a few ones that bother me though

 

Pets, Gadgets, Particle effects and hats are fine.

 

The diamond armor suit is kinda dumb and can be confused with real armor.

Crafting tables are not hard to obtain so having the convenience of one you can access with a command is nice. Also expanded backpack wouldn't affect much as it would just allow a player to essentially carry a portable chest they can access, whereas none donators would have to make say 2 trips from a mine where donators make just one to transport the same amount of materials, its simply a time saver and all items in the backpack are lost on death too so if you gank a donator a player could hit the jackpot. In my eyes pay2win would be something which can affect pvp and be a real pain for none donators to face. Such as having donators being able to fly around and fire gadgets doing damage to others, but I have carefully reviewed this and disabled all which I feel would constitute to this.

I don't see any issue with changing nickname, there is an admin command to allow you to see who is using a certain nickname and the tab list showing online users doesn't change with the new nickname so you can always know who is who.

and /vote perks are carried over from the original donator setup that was there before. /vote is currently broken anyway so its a useless perk but I included it anyway.

well I know I'm going to offer the perks to donators of TF2 to try to pique some interest for them to play Minecraft if this is ok.

most likely the lowest tier of TF2 basic donator will get iron whilst the highest tier gets diamond.

If I am going to offer the perks to TF2 donators I will need a list of donators and their tiers from the TF2 staff.

I also plan to allow players to make smaller donations to unlock certain gadgets/pets/particle effects etc. This is for those that want something donators get but dont want to buy the whole package, could be priced as low as a couple of dollars for a single item.

right, so this is pretty much what we are going with for now. everything is configured and ready to go just need some thoughts from you guys and then we can decide when to launch them. @Rhododendron @Aegean @virr

Things such as the creeper morph explosion does no player damage and I have disabled and configured anything which could give advantages but still thinking on bat morph due to its flapping being a very slow and limited flying and drugged horse which feels like it moves faster than normal horses which could be an advantage. I will disable these if they prove too much advantage for donators over none donators but will include them for now.

just posting an update, I'm going to try to have the new donators ready to go for the start of August so they can be annouced as part of the xG monthly news. I am just running into hurdles right now such as the textcosmetics plugin not changing the name colour because I am sure its conflicting somehow with the essentials ability to change name colour. I might end up leaving that out and just allowing donators access to the textcosmetics gui for chat text and giving them access to essentials.nick so they can change their name colour the original way.

just checked deluxechat, theres no options for party chat, the closest thing is pm.

mcmmo has a party chat feature when in a party, give it a try and see if it works if not I will see if its disabled in the config.

the /vote command no longer works because the plugin is outdated for 1.12 and the author has not updated it so the plugin will remain broken until its either updated or I find a working similar plugin.

and the new blocks I will see about adding them to the shop, there will not be a server reset. I will also try to provide a spawn egg for parrots too.

I've not touched these plugins so I have no idea why they suddenly started acting up.

we will probably be requiring some premium plugins when we are ready to implement some mini games and events. I noticed we have a premium pet plugin, I have decided to maybe award the pets as event prizes so players can win something more lucrative and unique than say a diamond sword.

yeah we are pretty much disabling all parts of the plugin that are not cosmetic. With this plugin, donators will be able to open up a menu and select what they want to use and it can be set up so iron donators can't access the diamond donator perks although they can see them in the menu.

we just need to decide on what the cost of each tier will be now and what tier gets what perk.

+1 yes we all know what he did as DL and he was punished for it accordingly. But after 2 months I do believe he deserves to at least be given a chance at moderator. He is very capable and would do just fine.

+1 Lolicon is fundamentally "legal" child porn. I agree the term should have no place on our servers. It is becoming increasingly illegal in a lot of countries to have lolicon pictures and video as is constitutes to "Consultation on the Possession of Non-Photographic Visual Depictions of Child Sexual Abuse" which can land a 3 year prison sentence and registration on the sex offenders register in the UK alone.

@XHina_sanX @Amylicious we also need to talk about maintaining the server and performing updates as everything is extremely outdated. I'm going through now updating everything.

yeah its just sometimes not worth updating the server to the latest build right away since a lot of the plugins could face incompatibility issues.

right now I'm looking at some new plugins for 1.12 but im not sure if the current plugins are working for 1.12 yet.

+1 very capable, active, has experience and is nice. Should be given another chance at admin.
