Not to derail the thread but which of the bans was this, gtveon, nopethepope, or both? If it was gtveon there is more i'd like to address about him and possibly request his ban be extended

both were friends and doing it together and I agree both should have extended bans but if they come back tonight after their ban expires other staff can see the exploit for themselves before handing out a longer ban. I was going to record it but the severity of it meant I had no time to.

Just had to ban 2 people for doing an exploit I have never seen before but everyone should be aware of it.

Basically a player was in spectate and during the round was able to move to red as a spy and backstab everyone killing them.

I am going to see if I can find anything about how this exploit was done but if anyone has any information about it please share because its a pretty bad exploit.

cool, I've always wanted to get into map making but the learning curve puts me off especially with deathrun maps since they are more advanced than a normal map.

I propose there be a trap which has something to do with my magic wand.

Sorry Dona but staff isn't for everyone. I don't think you are duly suitable for the position. You need to work on your maturity and I don't think you could cope with what is expected of a moderator. So I am going to have to -1

atm we are organising everything, and then deciding what we are going to do. We will be either improving the current shop or overhauling it entirely and yes there will be votes. put up for any changes we will do with plugins.

shifting through the plugins and everything now, first thing I'm doing is updating the permissions config to give frequent users the correct titles and permissions. Once that is done I will look at what other plugins we have and see if they are beneficial to keep or not. I will most likely have some polls up at some point regarding plugin removal and the addition of new plugins.

I will have to dig around and see what plugins are available these days. From the top of my head I can think of perks such as name changing, trails, hats, and colour for text and signs.

• Ran a Minecraft server and was given the job of working the backend. So I have experience in maintenance and configuration of new and current plugins as well as all the other responsibilities required of a DL.

If you can equip it to your action slot, then there's probably a cvar you can change to make it available, but I'm not sure what it does at this point so I'd like someone else to give input. @mrnutty12 @Vexx @Sesh

yeah its like the spellbook and mvm canteen and is equipped in the action slot.

I guess it could be the melee restriction treating the diary as a weapon since it can be used to cast spells regardless of the fact there are no spells on DR to pick up and cast.

If there is absolutely no way to get the diary to work without enabling guns and what not which will spoil DR I may have to end up selling or just using it on the other servers.

I'm going to see if I can dig up any information on it and see if there is a workable config.

I just bought a Fireproof Secret Diary and it was not cheap. I can see the diary on Pokemon Trade and TGH fine but when I'm on my main server DR I can't see the diary at all. Is there any reason for this?

If there is some setting you need to enable for it to be shown may I request it to be enabled please?

Would really hate having to sell something I just bought because its quite useless to me when I can't see it on the server I play 90% of the time. (n)

+1 map has always given me a headache when playing it, the bright colours and the songs (some of them terrible songs with TF2 voice lines spliced in, in a vain attempt at a remix) getting spammed constantly along with the map just being small and overall boring. I won't miss it.

Reasons being the moment you was told you need 50 forum posts to apply you kinda spammed the forum with small pointless replies with no constructive discourse on threads just to get your post count up with replies such as as "yes, this is good" and "I agree" and it comes across as somewhat desperate and that you only posted for post count rather than adding to the discussion.

I would like to volunteer to help run it. I have had experience on the backend of a minecraft server before so I should be fine helping with it alongside my *hopefully* moderation on TF2.

its already been said in previous threads why xG will never have a discord channel.

Teamspeak allows everything to be handled over servers owned by the clan so CLs can see what is happening with everything across Teamspeak including knowing if it has been hacked or infected with viruses and what not.

Discord is ran through Discords servers and therefore nobody has any access to security, safety of the servers with viruses, etc and you must put your trust in Discord that the service remains secure. A issue we will never have with xG hosted Teamspeak.

I do support small discords with friends as they are a very fun place to be to just chat and mess around in, but there will never be one for the clan.

Actually there is a gravetalk command we can add to the server. I believe it is the same one that blocks dead players chat from living chat in Jailbreak. I don't know the exact command but @Bello set it up when the command replaced the old one. If everyone is fine with it, I think it should be fine to have this sort of thing as it is used to block ghosting and such on Jailbreak, why not on Deathrun?

myself and others like to make jokes and talk when we have died, having this plugin will kill a lot of the fun deathrun offers.

it certainly will make ghosting more of a pain in the backside to handle since players in ghost can scout ahead to potentially call out traps such as which door is correct, or which platforms are correct, etc.

It might not always be obvious too if 2 friends are playing and telling their friend via steam messages which way to go so they can easily get past traps.
