Warrior what you are arguing is a mute point. It's already been decided that it is allowed until someone says to stop as a warning. Lets get back to reality, 95% of the staff and members use it consistently. I have seen it spammed in admin chat more times than I can remember and its never an issue. Why is it suddenly the forbidden word when it never was before... all of you are bringing in the most trivial things to try and attack each other.

I realize this, which is what I stated in my first post. It was a perfectly fine abuse report, but once threats started to happen people became defensive. There was no reason for darkwolf to comment like that behind our back, thats not something that should have been done.
 
And if this was an abuse thread for me, shadow, or really anybody not a DM then it wouldnt be an issue of growing up. I came in here to state a legitimate opinion, and get shot down for trying to say it.

Honestly you all just need to grow the fuck up a little bit.... We are supposed to be a community that helps each other make xG expand and become greater and you guys are acting like it's elementary school again, GROW UP!
 
Stop acting so hostile to each other all the fucking time, stop looking for silly little mistakes the someone makes just because you don't like them.... nobody is perfect and everyone will fuck up once in a while.

For the sake of myself, I'm going to be posting on what this Report Abuse thread is about (disregarding everything else, solely because it has all been mentioned enough times that I'm sure Darkwolf gets the picture) and that's it. I won't be replying to anyone or anything, should they choose to reply to my post. Alright, without further ado, here we go:

Fair enough. This is something all of our Staff Members should be thorough in. No matter how frivolous or ridiculous it is, the rules we abide by state that we must give a reason as to why the gag/slay/kick/ban was dealt, whether it be before the punishment is dealt or after (preferably after).
Regardless of the rank of the player/member being punished, a reason should always be given. It's perfectly understandable that Chrono should know what to expect (even though I don't entirely see the problem with saying it in Admin Chat if no one is offended).

"Threatens players when they question him. 'Recording demo whole time, dare you to fight it'."

As Staff Members, we have no need to threaten members/players with a demo if they are disobeying. We have the ability to target all of our Staff for the sole purpose of keeping the peace and being able to punish those who aren't listening. In no way should we ever have to threaten with a demo, and if a demo is being recorded, it should not be used as a threat ingame to gain leverage into what you're saying. If you're recording a demo, then keep recording, don't feed the fire by saying something like this during your demo.

"Wrongly gagged me."

Given that the derogatory term "nigger" has been flung around everywhere in TeamSpeak and even been used by the Member in question is enough to not warrant any form of action, especially if it was uttered in Admin Chat. By no means should a Staff Member !gag another Staff Member for saying it in Admin Chat if it is being used as a joke or just playing around (however if a Staff Member is taking offence to it, do not continue and stop), especially if that Staff Member says it all the time out-of-game. The only reason it is given leniency in Admin Chat is because there is only a handful of Staff on at any given point, and more than likely they can take it as a joke. The use of this derogatory term in Public chat however; may insult or offend one of the many players who are on. Chrono used it via Admin Chat in a joking manner (from what I've heard). Should he had spammed admin chat with it, then an appropriate course of action should have been taken.

Pretty long, but I'm pretty sure that covers everything based on the OP of this Report Abuse. Given the circumstances however, I will state that both Darkwolf and I were stressed and pressured the other night from the over abundance of complaints we received. Darkwolf did not have a level-head at the time, and yes, was easily provoked into immediate action. I can testify that he was not in a calm state of mind and may have acted rashly, but yes, this is not an acceptable means of "venting" and some rules were broken as an Admin. With that in mind, I strongly suggest to any Staff Member who has built up stress to log off and vent before getting back on. This will prevent you from making any substantial damage by breaking rules or skipping steps, and will also keep threads like this to a minimum.

I believe he posted it because of the racism, just showing that nothing was done about it. Obviously people are going to argue that its not racist, but would you say it in a public setting? Most likely not, still racism although more tolerated on the servers.
where i live if you say nigga or nigger in a public place no one cares. just how it is and i type how i talk.

I'm sure @@Forest would say it would depend on the situation.

I was stressed last night because of PERSONAL things going on. Plus the fact that I got called on by several people because of mods/admins not doing their job. It was like what, after midnight? I was finally getting tired and got called on so I checked in on it.
Don't go on the internet if you are having personal problems. It leads to abuse. Ask jay when he drinks, or any other staff who have been demoted for not doing their job right because they were having "personal problems".
 

I agree. So suddenly when someone who you clearly have a hostile relationship says "nigger" in admin chat where only you, gkoo, and sonic rainbow could see it makes it disrespectful? Yeah, I don't think so.

We rebanned LQ because the night he got banned, he did his own special kind of day again. 3 rounds in a row, and bleed had to be messaged to come ban him.
 
 

again, it is frowned upon, but not outright restricted. of the 3 admins on, I know for a fact Gkoo and I call drpepper it all the time. SonicRainbow is younger, so anything is funny to him. hue. but really, he didn't care, didn't say anything the first 2-3 times i said it , and didn't say anything after the gag.
Darkwolf said in this thread, he personally does not care about it being used. and he clearly didn't care the first few times i said it either since he would have gagged me then. but he didn't. it was when i called him out for camping he gagged me. Regardless of whether I personally know what I did was wrong or not, he should be presenting a reason to them as to why they were gagged. I could have been a random member for all intents and purposes, and he would be REQUIRED to do the same.
 

 
 
 
This abuse thread isn't because I am mad he gagged me because I said "nigger" in admin chat, it's because he threatened me to fight it as if I was not allowed to speak my mind, his attitude as shown in the previous thread and in mine and hidingmaster's images is VERY poor, and the way he handles situations that should be calmly and RESPECTFULLY handled with other players is not going the way it should.
 
P.S. notice who is giving the "Downs" ratings etc. on all posts being critical of darkwolf. his friends. just found that funny lol

Point 2: "Mic Spammers
If a mic spammer joins the server and will not stop after a warning, you must mute and then kick him if he does it again. If he rejoins and continues to do this, that is a bannable offence. An admin must ban him for 240 minutes exactly. Anything above or below is breaking the rules."
 
This didnt happen, he needed a warning first.

Point 3:
To deal with a disrespecting player you still must do the following:
 

Warn the player about the disrespect with a gag or mute. AND tell the player why he/she was gagged/muted.
Kick the player if disrespecting continues with an explanation of why they were kicked.
If the player comes back and continues then it is a 6 hour ban. Do not skip these steps.

Guess what? He didnt fully do the first step.

So there issue here is hypocrisy, again. I was literally told very firmly by forest that we are to follow all steps as they are written, AND NEVER SKIP A STEP. Darkwolf did this twice, in the same night. Forest very well knows that a demotion is a very possible punishment for a staff member who does not follow the steps accordingly, and as we see here Darkwolf failed to do so.
 
 
And where is the flame war? Am I in the wrong thread? All I see is constructive debate. Stop trying to get these ban protests closed for no reason at all, this is one of the most mild ones ive seen in quite a while. If this gets closed then I expect every other one that has debate in it to follow suit.

* I am in NO WAY being biased for Darkwolf what so ever. My honest opinion will be here and if he or anyone els hates me for it let it be.
* Just because Serbian stays in my room because we are FRIENDS does not mean we get PRIORITY over other people WHAT SO EVER. If you use this argument you are dumb witted and have proven NOTHING. Just because he is in the room to play with his FRIENDS does not mean his FRIENDS will not be punished. Want an example? My demotion (Do not bring up my past problems in this thread it is not about me)

I see him as the only fit person for that rank at this moment. Every other admin has SOME sort of problem that they SHOULD NOT be leading with. I understand everyone makes mistakes but they should not make obvious ones. If there WAS a person with perfect traits I would not ACTIVELY work to get him replaced I would +1 it if the opportunity came along.
 
The ONLY biased trait I do infact see with darkwolf is with DEMOTIONS (Not promotions) if we are on the topic of say *FOR EXAMPLE* demoting TurdWig for, oh lets just say being a nigger (hue) He has no problem discussing it but if it comes to someone that MIGHT (Cannot confirm) be his friend he tends to SLIDE off the topic.
 
That is why I DO NOT (AT THIS PERIOD IN TIME) demoted.
Let me make this clear again, if someone BETTER came along i would be all for that other person to take his position. But there is NO ONE better.

I think it's about time I gave my input. In the past, Matsi was just "that guy" who excessively posted about every little detail of either Staff Abuse or rule breaking. Needless to say, he has greatly improved since then and not only does he provide legitimate evidence, but he now keeps a calm and registered tone in addressing anything (unlike his constant blowing-up and raging in the past). I have seen a mature and active player rise out of those ashes, and I sincerely and honestly think Matsi may be ready to take a position of power. For the sake of being as thorough as possible, I'm going to include an A/M scale (not required).
 
A: 8/10
- One of the more active players I've seen, both on Counter-Strike: Source (Jailbreak) as well as our TeamSpeak server. Both of which is to be expected of someone in a position of power as a Staff Member. Activity is where it should be.
 
M: 8/10
- Tremendous improvement since his last-known personality of blowing-things-out-of-proportion. He now keeps a calm collected tone when addressing a problem or situation, and isn't afraid to give his complete opinion regarding anything. I have also seen a fair amount of patience, as well as the ability to be the mediator in a problem or any other scenario. Back since he was a CS:GO player, I have not seen any form of outburst or aggression arise from him, making him an ideal Staff Member. Maturity is where it should be.
 
D: +1 you have both earned and deserve the position of Moderator, and it would be an honour to have you able to moderate in our CS:S Division! Don't let me down mate, I expect great things out of you.

it was a joke. i was in a bad mood and i still am. but i wouldnt perm anyone for one fk. and if i did i would be demoted. simple as that. but now i am a part of this and i really dont want to be. TLDR the rest of the thread because im a dont give a shit mood. all i know is i dont want to be demoted and i only will server perm hackers and shit. not someone who freekills me.

No fear, not worried about speaking the truth, and his reports tend to be unbias which is extremely welcomed and encouraged!

I was wrongfully perm banned from CT for a "mass freekill." What happened was I left the room to get my vodka and my fish came into the room. He doesnt really know how to play and such, he just started playing tetris and now this. So anyways, my iguana is playing as CT and he grabs a P90 and freekills 3 people. I had no idea my dog did this so when I came back i was in utter suprise.

I don't want DMs giving powers to their buddies and giving some bullshit reason that they should be promoted. There should be input by other members for a members promotion.

A quick summary of whats gone on:
 
1) Reinstate the mod application and make sure there are some requirements in regards to donating: $10 donation to apply. Same format as before, same requirements. (2 months in xG, 100 posts that werent spammed)
 
2) Change PM requirements: MUST be in xG 1 month, must have 50 posts.

Just a quick question and suggestion. I know we stopped applications for mod a long time ago, but one of the benefits of this was that donating was a question on there. Why did we stop this? I don't think "we have too many mods" is a good reason.. Add another dm to handle them if you have to.
 
I know quite a few deserving people that would like to apply for mod, but since we dropped it they cannot. I think it may be beneficial to add the ability to apply back for two reasons:
 
1) We can reenact the donation question, effectively making it a requirement for mod. This will hopefully help.. even if its ever so little.. to keep the servers up.
 
 
2) Applying for mod gives people the ability to get somewhere in the clan. I feel like this drove a lot of people, including me, toremain here and stay active to achieve mod. This means keeping more people, attracting a few more... That usually translates to money.
 
 
This isn't a solution for all of the problems, but I'll be damned if this ship goes down with me on it.

As far as I know this was not during late night jailbreak, so I dont know why that is being brought up here. This has been a constant issue with jordo. This isnt the first time that jordo has done something like this, and at least from my point of view I havent seen him show that he knows the rules very well. I'm sure that there are others out there who can attest to this (and just look at that random ban he did for no reason, even though he started shooting to).
 
I was thinking about making a protest a while ago about him, so I guess this is as good as a place as any. I really don't think he does his admin job well, and in many cases just replies with immature comments when somebody questions him, as seen with chuck. Thats certainly not the way to handle situations.
 
Whether it be a demotion or talking to, something really needs to be done about it.

Just because it's late at night or a "community night" doesn't give you the right to abuse your powers. You're suppose to be an example, and what a poor example you're being by abusing.
