So, I feel like i'm the only one who thinks this way, after reading a lot good number of posts from people re-joining, so I have to ask. It can be a shitty situation when someone leaves, doubly so when they're a good friend to a bunch of people, but I guess I start to wonder about how loyal people are towards the clan and if that's going to have a part to play in how mature someone's going to act in-game. The way I see it is that as people become more and more comfortable within the community, there's a chance to have less and less of a grasp on the fact that they need to keep a certain level of respect towards others, members of xG or not, and I think that people just casually leaving and rejoining can increase that chance. And I say this based on what i've seen. Some people will act like they're "cool" enough to just not give a damn and act like a douche to others because enough people would vouch for them if ever there was an issue with their behaviour. This is either towards rule breaking or disrespecting others. And no, im not saying that everyone is going to do this. I'm just saying that i've seen it happen and it doesnt seem like a lot of people notice it.

Is there like, a list that shows the IP for the servers? I got Minecraft about a month after xG put a server for it up and I have yet to use it for xG related reasons so far due to the troubles that the old servers had, and i'd kinda like to change that.

From what i've seen in the last few days, i've seen mostly good things. Though, I would recommend taking the occasional peek at MOTD every few days as a refresher. It's extremely important that mods and aspiring mods know the MOTD inside and out. So I'll say +1.

You had me at leaving the clan twice. -1. I think xG has a hard enough time getting genuinely loyal people to join for their first time, but this guy wants to apply after what I'm interpreting is the third time? Uh...no.

I've always said that if the Ts have time to get guns and start shooting us and they aren't, you can kill them. It's a lack of participation. So if they open the doors and taunt you by not holding a gun I just kill them anyways. They're supposed to try to kill us, so if they don't do that, either directly or indirectly (indirectly via opening doors for their teammates) they're going against the rules and can be killed for it.

Killing was justified. Slaying was not, IMO. I say that mostly because I've never seen teamkilling on the terrorist side go punished unless a mod/admin was the one who died (I've seen them TK and not slay themselves.)

+1 for the random videos he would find on the internet. I mean, err, uh, yeah, he'd be returning as a mod!

The good thing is that all the damage anyone may do can be fixed, and baddies will get demoted faster than regular mods/admins. So there's little to worry about.

Apparently you can trade with real world money. I don't know how it's going to work but if I can make a quick buck from the game i'm down as shit.

Lots of other servers have a buy admin feature, and they get by just fine. I don't see how our server has to be different.

Im on the fence here. On the one hand, Stego has been getting a fair amount of negative attention, which doesn't just come out of nowhere. It's also something to be said that he so quickly paid for admin, after his previous attempts to get mod failed. On the other, Minecrack is a huge douche. Like, how he got into xG is fucking astonishing. Decisions, decisions.

Looks pretty solid. From the chat logs you seemed pretty pleased with what happened, so that it all happened by accident seems rather unlikely. I've seen you abuse in the past so i'm giving a +1 to this. Though, I don't think this is grounds to remove admin or anything. Just worthy of a warning.

Not even sure of what to think. I could argue all day about how new systems could have a negative result, but the current setup isn't really ideal either. Though I will say that a chat command should NOT control who is warden. Otherwise new people to the server who don't understand the rules would abuse the hell out of it. And some people want to talk at the beginning of a round, or at least in the first few seconds, but don't want warden, OR some people have no mics but may press the "talk" button and get in before others. I had one idea a while ago. So, say you have 10 CTs, everyone has a 10% chance of being picked. CTs all have a vote that they can give to any of their fellow CTs to increase the chance of them being picked over other CTs. This way, more competent CTs or crowd favourites have a better chance of getting chosen. Also, once you've been warden at the start of the round, your chance decreases by a bit to let others go ahead. A function should also be given to mods and admins to lower or remove chances of certain people if they don't have mics or if they break the rules, and any changes such as these made by admins are permanent unless changed back.
