Lots of reasons behind this. Though, as an example, if you get freekilled by one CT, rather than expecting him to be slayed, you're better off warning the admins/mods and asking them to keep an eye on him. Often times our admins want to play the game too, and so they wont ALWAYS catch everything.

Or vantage points. And checking your corners. Sometimes it's better to wait it out and let them come to you. Some people say it's all camping, but some of it is less "cheap" than that.

This guy's kept his cool from the moment i've seen him on the servers. He's a great guy, knows the rules, is active, and is a good player. Would be an asset to our clan as a moderator. +1

Lol'ed. We should make a simple rule. One that I saw in the plaguefest ticker was "Any kind of discrimination whatsoever will result in a kick or ban" So, if you use a slur in a way that could be interpreted as offensive, you get kicked. Regardless if you're part of the party you make fun of in some way. INB4 Shitstorm.

Its because so many blacks cry about the N word being said, and not enough of any other parties. Plain and simple. Also it's because it's apparently significant enough that blacks have had rights and freedoms in the US in the last century to the point where they are to be regarded as the most sensitive and least worthy of racial stereotypes and slurs.

If people arent paying attention, then they can die. If you listen to orders, you live. Easy peasy. I also played earlier today and wasn't too inclined to give the Ts some slack. Its true that often CTs are derps and need to be taught a lesson, but it's just infuriating when the Ts are given such an advantage and are protected by inexistant rules. I dont want to have the Ts standing outside of cells for more than 15 seconds if I have to, I'd rather get them out and get them moving before they get restless and start to go on killing sprees. Its no fun when one wrong move by a CT can result in a freeday, which is basically a free ticket to die as a CT. Again, if you arent paying attention and aren't listening, you're, in a sense, disobeying orders. This all assuming that the orders were given clearly the first time. I always repeat my order once and once only after saying it the first time, and give about 7 seconds to get out. 5 seconds isnt really that strict. Anyone who is actually watching their screen and listening is going to know what to do.

I have previously repressed memories of being freeslayed three times in one round by him. I'd -1 but I havent been active lately to see if he's changed. So it stays at 0

Challenging a mod's word isn't disrespect. Anyone who says otherwise is unhealthily insecure. Also it sucks that you're going when you've been on the servers for a good year. Hopefully things get better and you come back.

IMO he can't possibly do worse than any mod we've ever had, and will probably do as well as some of our current mods. Maybe even better. People seem to think that he may lose his cool, but other than keeping a level head I really don't see how he'd be a bad mod. It wouldnt even be very bad of a losing your cool situation.

So on the fence over this. On the one hand, no offense, but your youth gives off a feeling of immaturity. Regardless of whether you are or not, I think that's the main reason why people are so uneasy. Not because they think you'd be a bad mod. People have a hard time getting over the fact that someone younger than them have more authority or power in the clan. Also, isn't the vouching committee going into effect now? Part of me is wondering the purpose of using -1 or +1. Might just be better to state your opinion and give reasoning behind it. I also Lol'ed when two people who have been hunting for mod gave you a -1 for the same reason (which isnt REALLY a good reason anyways, considering we have an admin who is young by Slippery's apparent standards)
