Also, did you happen to ASK about membership? Not just automatically say "you aren't in xG hurr hurr hurr"
(You know, ask for a membership submission, or look into forums at all? Idunno)

I could easily see how that kind of comment would be considered something that was attempting to provoke an emotional response from Egossi.
 
I don't think people should be constantly warned... things like that are the reason there's trolls around still that will constantly troll and troll and troll up until the point where they get warned then kicked... then they will stop for a while and then troll some more expecting the warning/kicks to be required before they will get banned.
 
I also do not think that something like "it's not trolling, they are just naturally an asshole" is an adequate reason to get away with it.

can css members vote if I still play on tf2 servers? if not ignore this, but +1 for unban. it was 1 AM jb and on css when its 1 am we are usually just fucking around. and to add to it he was a new player and even admitted that he did something wrong. i feel like a freekill is barely worth an hour ban, very much less a day ban.

I have read every post. And from what I can tell this seems to be a bit of a feud. Both sides are guilty, CLs will take care of it and punish as they see fit.
 
But the attitude in general needs to change. You hate somebody? Don't talk to them.You got a problem? Bring it to a higher up. That's what they're there for. I had problems with other members. Know what I did? I FUCKING IGNORED THEM AND WENT ON WITH MY LIFE. Now I don't see them on forums and if they're in game I don't talk to them. But I guess logic like that comes with maturity.
 
I've straight up wanted to quit MULTIPLE times because of the toxic environment of this fucking clan but I don't because I'm misogynistic. Every where I turn is someone posting shit about someone else. People leaving because things went to far and no one stopped it. That's not right. Instead of saying, "That's just how it is." How about you fucking make a difference so people don't feel attacked and this shit won't happen and we can go back to playing games like we're supposed too.

I really wish you would. Keep pushing his buttons so he has reason to ban you from the forums. You're toxic input is doing nothing to alleviate this situation.

Has it really gotten to the point where you guys are resorting to petty bullying? As I'm sure most of you are in school/recently finished high school, I'll remind you of the countless assemblies or whatever you want to call them that we had to attend focused on cyber bullying, and yet, here we are having to discuss the same topic because you guys can't keep your dislikes of person A to yourself. As I'm sure everyone knows, we are not ALL going to enjoy one another's company, but that doesn't make it right to harass each other. As an example (and only an example), lets say i hate @Bleed and can't stand him nor can i be in the same TS channel as him because of how much i hate him. Does that give me the right to attack him? No. What should I do then? Keep my personal problems personal. There is no need to express said dislikes. All I would have to do is leave a teamspeak channel if he joins it, or better yet, simply ignore him. You know, there's this feature on multiple programs now a days called blocking, which makes it so you don't have to interact nearly as much with someone, instead of harassing said person because you dislike him/her. I personally do have people in this clan I do not like, but most people wouldn't know who I'm referring to. Why? Because I keep it to myself, there's no need to attack someone because you dislike them. It truly saddens me that I have to make a post about cyber bullying.
 
Now that the cyber bullying thing is pretty much out of the way, I'll go on to something else I wanted to address.
Since when did different servers become their own countries, especially among a single community? Last time I checked, the Trade Gaming History server was an xG server, not a [insert xG faction name here] server, and same goes with the other tf2 servers. Now, I only bring up CS GO because it's the division I have the most experience in, but in CS GO, we weren't divided into this group or that group, we were simply csgo players. Some people were disliked by others, but that didn't mean we had to create our own cliques centered around said ideas. Hell, when I was more involved with TF2 a year ago or so, we didn't really have this wall between each other. I remember being able to go to Saxton Hale if I wanted to, then go to Pokemon Trade or Trade Gaming without any sort of drama tied to said servers. What happened? I can see now some of the reasons why a lot of the older tf2 members left (i.e hapless, travtman, etc.) I remember everyone just gathering in one channel and hanging out, whether person A didn't like person B or not. Again, it makes me sad that I have to treat you guys like 10 year olds who fight over not sharing toys or who called who a dumb.

Holy fuck guys, can't we just get along? I have to agree some choices kitty has made were pretty stupid, but that doesn't give you guys the right to insult kitty over and over. Hell, we all need to stop fighting each other. On a lot of threads, someone posts their opinion and it goes to utter shit. A clan is supposed to respect each other and be friendly. Harassment is a serious thing guys, it needs to stop. Its okay to fight, everyone gets in a fight once in a while, but holding grudges and hating each other won't solve anything. No one in this case is showing maturity. Every time I see one of these threads, a little faith in the maturity of my clan goes away.

I guess I'll just start it off bluntly. From my experiences thus far, I have no inherent issues with any of the moderation staff of xG. I rather enjoy their company for the most part. But when I see something like this literally rock-slide out of control, it makes me take a step back and take a good, hard look at the xG servers as a whole.
 
I like you guys. I really do. But there are times when I am facepalming myself so hard I nearly give myself a concussion. The maturity levels of some of our moderators, at times, seems to be extremely underwhelming. There have been many times that I have been in a server and chose to disconnect due to the content being spewed over the voice chat by those who have the power to kick other players. Sometimes, I just don't want to be in the same server as some of you. But, I don't want you guys to think I am trying to stir the pot. I am just being honest.
 
It would seem to me that there needs to be some sort of revolution with the way staff conducts themselves. Some more than others, of course. But for the most part, our staff here do what needs to be done, but there are those moments where things escalate and words are said that do not help the situation at all. Sometimes, it feels like the moderators forget that the other people playing on the servers are, in fact, other people.
 
I consider myself a pretty level-headed individual. I think logically before I speak and try to avoid hasty decisions. I process the possible outcomes of every scenario before I take action. I always try to resolve conflict with open communication. Any time I have an issue with someone, the first thing I try to do is contact that individual so I may directly speak with them. @Mitsu and @Hachi can probably vouch for me on that. I've been known to be an ass, but when I'm an ass and it upsets someone, I am quick to try and fix the problem. I own up to the situation and take responsibility for my actions. I'm not perfect, but I have a pretty good track record of cleaning up my messes.
 
It would seem to me that the moderators need to find that innate ability to own up for their mistakes. EVERYONE makes mistakes, and when those mistakes go uncorrected, the head begins to fester until it bursts. This brings me to the situation at hand. The situation makes me feel a lot of feelings for a lot of the people involved. I feel upset that this rift has been created among the staff. I feel sorry for @Kittylicious and the position she has been placed in. I feel sorry for the other moderators that have been put in this situation and have to defend their actions. I feel sorry for @Nomulous because of the awkward situation it has put him in. It is just a proverbial shitpile. NOTHING good will come of this.
 
But I have chosen to stand and help. I have chosen to remain in the middle, waiting until someone calls on me to referee the situation. I want to help EVERYONE involved on both ends and I want to see a sound resolution to these issues. I teach second graders. I see this kind of stuff DAILY. I can safely say that I am an EXCELLENT mediator when it comes to personal problems, so if ANYONE needs to talk to me about the issue, my door is always open.

I'll be reading this soon enough (yes, cls DO read what you tag us in, don't have to do it more than once) I'll say this now and ill probably say it again in my next post. Member protests aren't meant for shitting on people (not talking about kitty) they're meant to point out problems so they can be dealt with, so keep this civilized or i may pull a @Chrono and go on a ban spree.

I'll just say this; I stand with no one at the moment and will not side with anyone until I have reviewed everything.

I would like to give @DrLee, @Hidingmaster, @ThePenguin @diabeetus for conversations, as this issue it too big out for me to deal with this solely. During their investigation, I would like to be included in the conversations, as me running the TF2 divisons and deciding moderators and promos will cause bias towards my decisions.

Alright, I'm going to give my opinion on this matter. I knew this issue couldn't last forever and action needed to be taken. The first point I'd like to say is that kitty becoming mod is not her decision. If you don't think she should have become mod than that's an issue you need to bring to the higher ups. Second of all, the disrespect is way too high and unacceptable. The TF2 xg community is pretty much crap right now due to this conflict. Kitty has presented a lot of evidence of disrespect and I will be surprised if nothing happens from this thread. I'm not going to +1 or -1 right now, but I think that the disrespect some people are showing Kitty NEEDS to stop. Its on a much higher level than other conflicts in the past. The users mentioned in OP definitely need a warning. Last thing I'm going to say is that I honestly don't care if literally everyone in TF2 hates me for not being against kitty. I'm going to stand by my opinion.
