As a support player, I agree completely. The team actually has to rely on a support, in some aspect. With TF2's Medic, you could totally just all play scout in a pub and go crazy with the health packs. I feel so much more impactful playing Lucio or Mercy.

Note I said "Team Fortress" and not TF2. The original TF was where rocket jumping was "invented" by the players, and no, it was not intended. Also, play some Lucio if you're still convinced there's no skill based movement in OW. =) And what I said about TF accidentally creating rocket jumping is a fact. I couldn't give less fucks about your opinions, I'm just correcting some of your incorrect facts.

As someone who played demo in silver, this triggers me. Scout is such a hard counter to demo it's not even funny. TF2 is balanced around the same "rock paper scissors" meta that Overwatch is. The only "soft counters" would be involved with weapon unlocks in TF2 (ie, scout gets rekt by engi, scout equips bonk.) Blizzard was avoiding this on purpose, just btw. In Team Fortress, rocket jumping was not a mechanic that was intended at first. Blizzard added some movement that was meant to be in the game, like Junkrat's shift ability. I also wouldn't call it "skill based" movement, considering I had a right click bind on soldier that pretty much rocket jumped for me.

I think the game is in a good spot. The game balances itself around a rock-paper-scissors meta. Bastion, Genji, Winston for example. Bastion destroys Winston. Genji destroys Bastion. Winston destroys Genji. etc etc. Every hero is good at a thing or two, but some heroes are too strong, and are simply good at everything. Tracer and McCree are some examples. They fit into every single team comp and will always be good, which what makes me say they're overpowered. As a support player myself, I enjoyed Lucio and Mercy, but Mercy doesn't feel nearly as strong as Lucio. plus, wallriding is stupid fun. Tracer, Widowmaker, Junkrat, and Torb were a few I enjoyed more than I expected to. I'm excited to see where the game will go competitively. I hope they find some way to "fix" the heroes that are simply not fun to play against (bastion + mei.) the two heroes are fine balance wise, but they're so annoying to counter and fight against. Edit: Also not a fan of the map design, so far. Tons of choke points and no flanks that needed to be watched. That's something that Valve did perfectly: map design.

Watcher has described it as a "huge beta pool" that is going to be invited, may the odds be ever in your favor. If you're not currently subbed to WoW, I think you can still be invited. Watch for it, and hopefully we can all play together. Time to actually pick my class, boys. So hype.

Let's take a step back from a division, and simply look for people to play. We have a ton of people playing WoW right now, and I wouldn't even consider a division if it were up to me. All I've heard of Black Desert is that it's extremely grindy and the endgame is pretty lacking. I will also pass.

I specifically remember this one being some form of "kill yourself, *insert generic obscene insult here*" Since the rules on death threats has changed, +1. I perm'd him instantly as the rule was to perm anyone instantly if a "death threat" was made.
