So I've been seeing this topic spread across the internet like wild fire. It started on FacePunch, then it moved to Reddit, and now its at Tf2Banana. It's about how this possible virus can be downloaded from malicious servers, and then it will crash your computer and trash your steam account. I am not sure if this is true (I feel as if it is a hoax), but at the rate that the information is spreading it appears it could be true. I've seen plugins that force your computer to download certain files from a server, but that was only with sound files. I mean it could be theoretically possible that a virus could be downloaded through it; however, I am unsure of how it would execute automatically. Anyway, if you are paranoid, you might want to change your download settings, on the tf2 options multiplayer tab, so that it will only download maps from the servers. And you may only want to go to xG servers or Valve servers. This could be a massive trolling spree, but you can never be too safe. Originally how I moved up the ranks was I actually met the people that were running the division, and I got to know them and a lot of the players. When it came down to it, they decided to promote me. So my advice for anyone striving to get promoted is get known for a good reason. Talk to players and admins, get to know everyone, be respectful/level-headed, and don't cause a lot of trouble. Those are qualities that a lot of people LACK.

I think I might add something, if you don't mind. "Old xG" did not NEARLY have this much drama and shi.t-posting. If you want it to go back, stop adding to the problem. Try adding to the SOLUTION for once, instead of standing around complaining.

It's not like he can't access the server or something. Nom can still work on the servers and whatever; however, to test them, he would need an alt account that is not VAC banned. Also, hey. Lets try not to blow every single fucking thing out of proportion here. We already have enough drama as it is. So cool your jets, turbo.

This is just my view based on person experience: I would let ONLY admins and above middleman. I think you should ban the term "Cancer" and just keep it at "Low Tier". Keep this place SERIOUS. I would not use the bosses, rtd, or anything that is not serious in nature. Most unusual servers, people come on to just sell or bargain. I would try to keep it as serious as possible. (Besides, we already have the other two trade servers which are not serious, lol.) I wouldn't ban quickselling; however, I would make it a rule that says you must state you are purchasing quicksells. We don't want someone to feel scammed because they were unaware that someone was doing this.

Well, I have an idea; however, I don't have Photoshop and I don't know how to use it anyway. But essentially you could make the XenoGamers logo transparent and then get art from each of the games we support here and put it behind the lettering so it comes through. :)

He was WELL aware that sourcemod was broken, so I think that you guys should consider up-ing the punishment. He was told multiple types to stop the mic spam by multiple mods (Kart and Scootaloo).
