People talk behind other people's back. It's only natural. When you say those sort of things to someone, it's almost always taken in a confidential matter. You wouldn't straight up say those things to the player/member, maybe word it differently but you wouldn't deliberately say those things. What you may consider disrespect/harassment, may not be taken the same way if directed at others. Not everyone will see this as disrespect, some might, but you can't just speak out for them. For example, if someone like Charrax calls me a "faggot who shouldn't be a part of this community", I'll simply laugh because he's being his douchey self and I know he is just messing around. If he were to say that to someone else, that depends entirely on where they stand. Another example would be this; Offender to Person A - "You're a tool" Person A - "Love you too bb" Bystander - "That's offensive" Completely differentiates between the person. One is clearly perceiving it as disrespect and believes it is offensive, while the other is taking it as a joke. Without the opinion of "Person A", then yes it's easy to call someone out on disrespect and make them look like a bad guy, however; it wasn't Directed at the Bystander. What I'm getting at is simply this; Disrespect is only disrespect if it in any way offends or upsets the person being "disrespected". If it's not even being targeted at you, why should you take the effort of being upset or feeling harassed when it in no way pertains to you?

Thread TL;DR (In general) - Stop banning people for simple mistakes, cut a little more slack. There is a slay command for a reason, is there not? (In general) - If you're going to post a Member Protest on the terms of disrespect, you better have proof of disrespect toward Yourself, not others. (Charrax) - Tone down on the disrespect on everyone, or atleast towards those who take it personally. The chances of finding a Div Leader who is all Pro and no Con are either slim to none. Everyone has something they excel in, and something they fail in. In this case, Charrax does everything server related right, but he runs a tight ship. If you people are seriously upset with the disrespect, this has hopefully been a wake-up call for Charrax. For future reference, when posting about disrespect, only include disrespect TOWARD YOURSELF. Not everyone else takes what Charrax says in a hostile way, so don't speak for everyone. It will not help your case, because first of all you shouldn't be posting in regards to someone else being disrespected. Show some proof if he's disrespecting you. Not proof that he's disrespecting others. Don't really care if I'm not a gmod player, but this right here is muckin' things up. - Dat guy, Forest

What I mean is, don't feel like just because you're a member, you can't do anything. Things like hosting a Community Night, or some sort of thing like that doesn't require you to be a Staff Member. It requires Help from some yes, but you can just be a member and host that sort of thing whenever you want (Just as an example). Be unique, do something that'll catch people's attention. Make a video sponsoring xG, or a find a way to make us more publicly known then we already are. The possibilities are endless, you just need to come up with something and just do it! You don't need the approval of us to do things (to a certain extent). Be creative, and you'll most likely gain our attention (y)

all terrorists are muted for the first 30/60 seconds.

JailBreak IS the best. Also, just giving my opinion on the matter. We have it set at 90 seconds for CS:S, which I think gives a perfect amount of time for the Warden to give their orders. After all, the most important orders are the beginning ones. It weeds out the baddies and gives a (more-so) manageable amount of Ts. Das jus wut I b thinkin' yo. -
As Duckii said, if you make a noticeable difference on servers/forums, enough to get the attention of other staff members, you may just earn a Moderator status. Not only will you earn more respect out of it, but you'll feel 1000x better if you earned it then just paying to get it. Mind you, it won't be no easy task, but it's definitely something that you can do if you are determined enough. Otherwise, you'll have to be patient for reasons posted above. You can also just donate to help out the community too! - Dat guy, Forest

There needs to be some way to identify that your applying for xG
Forest replied to Cows's topic in CS:S Discussion
True story. Chances are, the more we get to know you, the more likely you'll be to get em. Activity on TeamSpeak is a requirement anyways, so you might as well get on it! #Closed upon request of OP ~ Forgotten in the Lost Woods -
A somewhat large group of players were lost when hub disappeared for our CS:S Jailbreak server, this much is true. The longer we are without customization/individualism, the more players we may risk losing. Just get it implemented and handle the donations whenever you can during the Summer. If anyone asks how they can donate to get creds in game, we'll direct them to our forums and they can donate to xG in General for the time being until the donation option is fixed for CS:S(?)

You've been told by our Leader, a Co-Leader, Division Leader and Division Manager that Dead Chat wouldn't be making a comeback. Why do you insist on keeping this thread going when it most likely won't happen?

Yes, any minus 1s given will Also be disregarded if not following the proper format/template. It is Still considered a vouch, and therefore must be in the proper format as well. -
Refrain from starting a discussion/argument or instigating any sort of griefing/flaming. If you have given your opinion and your vote, then you have no need to post anymore. This goes for everyone, no exceptions. I will again remind everyone to stay on topic and only post how they feel on the subject, nothing more. Further discussion will result in the closure of your post. Thanks.

Fyi, any vouches that are either lacking information or are not following the proper format/template will be disregarded. We don't take too kindly to 1-ups with the reasoning "He's my bud". Just sayin'. -
>Playing on jb_electric_razor_v6 >Warden instructs Ts to face away from their cells >Warden kills every T in the VIP section because there is a cell right across that they are facing >CT bans offending Warden >Warden complains that they weren't facing away from cells and was therefore a freeslay >Facepalms and dies a little on the inside

I'm going to have to say no just by looking at your ban history. In most cases, I would vouch for a second chance, however you have been banned and banned time again for freekilling in general. There are even instances where our staff believed you deserved a perm CT ban. Three times, in fact. I'm as lenient a DM as is, but I don't see an unban happening here. Sorry mate, you'll just have to stick with being a T for the time being Ban history: Xeno Gamers - Dat guy, Forest

Show us that you aren't just another player on a Jailbreak server. Show us that you are unique in your own way, and I guarantee people will almost immediately notice you. In this case, don't try to follow what other people do. Do your own thang. I see a lot of people copying others because they notice they get a lot of attention, and it really doesn't work. Don't worry, if you can prove in servers that you're knowledgeable and are just a great guy in general, you'll be in soon enough! And as others have said, this idea was scrapped due to the confusion going on amongst members and players. - Dat guy, Forest -
There currently is no ETA for the hub, it's whenever silence has the time to do it. You'll just have to sit back and wait, and rely on your skills when rebelling rather then bombing!
-
Yes, this is how it will be treated from this point on. I wanted to get this out of the way because of earlier actually, lol
-
And with that, there are 3+ opinions all in favor of the rule meaning the following; Rebel Hunting: CTs may go in search of Rebels only under the following conditions: - They have physically seen a Rebel - They have been ordered to by the Warden - It is a Hide and Seek day - They have asked for permission from the Warden to do so Discussion/debate ended, these will be the norm from here on out on CS:S (not closing thread in case there are any further questions, however there will be no more discussion involving rebel hunting).

Welcome back cute stuff.

+1 even though I don't got CS:GO
-
CT: "Warden, do I have permission to go rebel hunting?" Warden: "Permission granted" CT: "Thanks!" -Or- Warden: "Out of cells, rebel. I would like some CTs to check out (area) for rebels." Also, mind you, there's a lovely feature ingame that's called "Team Chat", just in case you don't want the Ts to know you're coming :bored:
