Closing the thread now, as there no longer needs to be discussion.

The month ban was insanely excessive, especially with no kick and also with a ban on brian without getting his side.
His ban will stay to a day, will be discussed with the higherups but right now Silence and I both agree anything more than a day is excessive over something so small. We are not a clan based on censorship, and hopefully people's feelings can handle being called badmin.
PLEASE use common sense when making bans, and try to give adequate warnings before bans unless it's hacking or mass freekilling (which we have other rules for)
Ratings should not be considered personal attacks, as I was told in the past by the higher ups when I complained about it. That being said, if you're giving people FUCK OFF rating, you should not be complaining about it in the first place.

I will have huge discussions with our higher ups and then staff about what common sense means, and how we should try to be fair in all our bans, and try to understand that we should not strive for bans, but instead do our due diligence to get things resolved in a matter that everyone is happy. This is clearly a situation that has not met those standards. This fault also comes from myself for not being so involved with TF2, but I will be from now on.

I think it's pretty clear to a majority of members that there has been feelings of hostility amongst a large number of staff and members, varied from group to group. I just wanted to shed some light on the issue, and would like to have an open conversation to hopefully resolve some of the underlying matters behind it. We know there's a lot of "cliques" amongst all the different discord servers with xG members, but still our stance is not changed that although we prefer you to use our teamspeak server, we have no plan to force you to use teamspeak as long as you don't encourage members on the server to use discord instead.
 
First of all, you do NOT need to like everyone, as a community there will always be people who prefer their own group of friends to others, or just don't mesh well with a certain individual. That being said, to not like someone is not an excuse to make them feel unwelcome or to gang up on them with your friends. We are a gaming community, and as we are getting bigger, there will be more groups of friends who have different personalities and interests, the last thing we want is for new members to feel the hostility or to feel unwelcome.
 
In regards concerning attitude towards staff, even if you're staff yourself, please understand that you do not know their situation and that treating them like garbage because they should be doing their "job" is definitely not okay. Being a moderator or higher on our servers is a position that we can't give enough thanks for, because the staff are what hold our servers together. We would not be where we are today, if we didn't have so many willing mods, admins, or higher ups who were willing to sacrifice their time (and sometimes money) to give everyone else a more pleasant experience.
 
The overall message is just to be more respectful towards one another, and try to have some empathy the next time you interact with someone you aren't familiar with.

I do not know BonFire personally.
I called BonFire, "Bonnie" because I wanted to use an easy short name for BonFire.
I did not know that 'Bonnie' is BonFire's nickname.

I recently got gagged for asking why Nigga is considered a slur and it just pisses me off to no end.
 
Nigga is NOT an offensive slur, it's used by black people all the time as a term of endearment. Literally
NO ONE is going to get offended by people saying it, so why punish people for it????? I find this to be
a breach of free speech. When people are intending to create hate-speech for people of color they just
say Nigger, plain and simple. It's just wrong and unfair to ban words like this because it just gives them
more notoriety for absolutely no reason. You can do a simple fucking google search and learn that Nigga
is used in a positive way unlike Nigger. I understand that the word has evil roots but that's really no excuse.
 
This is just an example of blatant hypocrisy employed by xG Staff, for example I get made fun of all the time
on xG for being a "girl gamer xdddd make me a sammich lmaooo xdd" but do you see me cry about it to admins?
No. Because I'm not a fucking pussy ass bitch, Admins don't even do anything about it when that happens.
xG claims to be a "safe space" but it really is not. There's talk of traps all the time which is considered a slur by some
transgender people, things like lolis are encouraged by titles like "Loli" or "Loli scout legionaire" and some people even
have sprays of it, which is sexualizing children which is wrong, and illegal and people like Rub1dium get hunted down
through facebook by an absolute creep.What's with all the double standards??????
 
Really xG staff needs to either get more consistent with their policies or just get rid of punishment for slurs altogether
because all you are doing by making slurs this big bad thing is giving the words more power and cultivating absolute SJW
pussies who get triggered at any sort of slur.

This thread has become nothing more than people throwing random accusations at this point, and will therefore be closed until the higher-ups have come to a decision.

-1 We had 4 people recording while he was on Pokemon, Nutty, Elcark, Matteomax, and I. Killed 2 cloaked spies, made some very suspicios headshots, teamed up with others that were suspicious too.

Playing with suspicious players that may or may not be cheating, is suspicious in itself. Usually when hackers have friends that are playing with them both tend to be cheating. And given that both you and headshot scott were making some pretty suspicious shots, it just adds more to the idea of you two cheating.
 
Also naming yourself as game mechanics like "hitscan dan", and "headshot scott" does make it a bit more suspicious. From games that I've seen, both on xG servers, and in Valve Casual matches. Hackers name themselves something clever along the lines of what you and your friend did.

Plus, as I mentioned before he was pocketing "headshot scott" was getting some suspicious shots as sniper as well.

@sick41057 I'm trying to play the demos that I recorded, but the only one that's working is the one where bless was pocketing I believe a friend of his named "headshot scott", and given that this is a ban appeal for when bless was playing sniper, it would be irrelevant.

Um yeah no there are multiple people that thought you were hacking in the past and now and now that you've shown us that other communities thought you were hacking as well, we can't just ignore that. No one is bandwagoning here we're now all suspecting that you were legitimately hacking now that theres been a second report about you hacking by several different staff members again. I think its safe to say that you are indeed hacking since this isn't the first time you were caught doing it by several different staff members.

I am somewhat questioning if anyone even bothered to watch the demo @mrnutty12 provided. I really did not see any fishy shots myself, only about one flick that made me question legitimacy, but not obvious to the point I think he's hacking. The spy thing isn't sufficient enough to straight out call him a hacker, one spy flashed his cloak and ran in front of the other while he was shooting at him, giving away both of their positions. I'll review the demo more times, but once again I really do not think the user is hacking.
 
Also, please remember to be respectful when replying to people, insulting them for protesting a ban that they think they don't deserve is very immature and makes me question the legitimacy of your word, and your position of staff.

Deathrun:

Teamswitching is completely disabled. When you join the server, it will automatically assign you to red or blu[e]. Now if you join blu, there's no need to worry, as the deathrun plugin will automatically switch you to red once the current round is over (unless you're death obviously).

This way, nobody can join spectators either, however, we found a small solution for that.
There's a plugin that lets you go into spectator by typing a very simple command:
/ts [name] [team]
Teams: 1 = spectator, 2 = red, 3 = blue.
For instance, if I wanted to join spectator, I'd type /ts bello 1. And once I'm done spectating, I'd type /ts bello 2. Simple as that!
