    Hey, I'm Sympathy. I've been on the xg servers for a while now, particularly tgh, and I think I should get to know the community a little better. My activity has pretty sparse lately, and there's two reasons. First, I got my first job this summer as a lifeguard. Secondly, I've been learning how to make tf2 maps since February, and I think I'm becoming competent at it. Some other things about me are I have terrible internet, I love rock and roll, and I'm lazy. Anyway, I hope to get to know more of you this year.

    Does anybody know how to lower ping? I've been getting up to 1000 as of recently.

      Well, given my experience with 1k ping before I am gonna say people are syncing to the cloud (or downloading lots of pron). You could tell them to turn off the automatic sync (stop the pron downloads) or you can wait it out. Alternatively your router could be dying.

      Your ping depends on numerous things, signal connectivity, how far away you are from our host, weather, how many people are on your network, if you have streaming or other heavy usage apps being used on your network, etc.

      My parents divorced when I was in middle school. Just keep your head high and try not to let them drag you into decisions. You're not to blame for anything. It will be fine, fam. Nothing lasts forever, and you just gotta remember that.
