    Bsor is fine. It's a very nice map in my opinion and I'm tired of seeing "remove this map" votes. I don't understand why everyone complains about removing maps when I know when we DO clean the maplist people will just complain that there's not enough maps. I like bsor a lot personally, it has a nice aesthetic and really fits on a trade server, like ours. I say this a lot but, a measurement of "fun" in your eyes isn't exactly a reason to keep or remove a map, the map has 0 bugs or problems that I can see and I would rather see it stay on the server. It's the only map I think we're going to get that has the entirety of Bomb-omb battlefield, and still have spawns fair enough to actually consider it a trade map.

    Gotta have that tag! But also, is a great community who know when to have a good time and not take things too seriously. I'm already friends with a few members (Elcark, Scribbles).
     
    Admins are professional in dealing with those who have broken the rules, giving the trouble-makers plenty of warning/chances to correct their ways before they are caught in the path of the Ban Hammer's swing.
     
    I've only been on your tf2 deathrun server for two(ish) weeks, but I'm already in love with it and would love to call myself a part of the community.

    I'm sure it was removed due to being annoying, like Sandmen's old theme, or it could be that the version of Demopan we use doesn't have music in the .cfg. So... the music-less version.
    Either way, adding it or changing it back is fairly easy, but that's if the server won't complain about it...

    I don't know, I think it would be nice to allow people to silently report things if a staff is on but they don't know that there is.
     
    It would still send a notice of the issue; the staff online can read and take actions needed while technically being somewhat "incognito" without visible tags.
     
    The only case that it would be considered abuse would be if it is used as a toy, false calls.

    Incredibly easy to add, just remind me tomorrow as I will be busy today.

    I do actually 100% agree with this, because the rule is there to prevent staff from getting on when there's nothing going on.
    When staff is already on, it does not send a notification via the bot, hence no additional staff will be getting on.

    Is that not the purpose of the rule as it stands currently (that and things such as spam or just general trolling)? The rule listed in the motd states not to abuse it, nothing about not using it while staff are on. That being said, addressing this is important as the concept of banning someone for using calladmin when they are actually trying to address an issue seems more than silly.
     

    This seems like a decent solution to the problem as it gives players a subtle solution other than calladmin to report various issues in manner most people don't know is an option. The warning to abuse it could easily be added to the motd alongside the rule about calladmin.
     
    Something I would like to address with this, is now there is the potential that players simply don't know staff are on at all if said staff are using staff titles and haven't spoken in chat. Not only that, but if staff are using tags in their name this still could leave newer players to the server oblivious to situation, and use calladmin as it's may be the only way to address the issue in their eyes.

    I have seen a ban happen for this reason and it seemed a little unfair because the person did it once I agree this rule should be reconsidered

    How come we ban people for using /calladmin when a staff member is already present? It's basically the same as talking to admins in teamchat starting with @ but not many people know that feature as well as /calladmin. I don't think anyone has ever meant any harm in using /calladmin with a staff on the server when they aren't abusing it with silly reasons.
    Perhaps this rule should be removed? Of course the rule that you can't abuse it with reasons like mass freekill on Trade Gaming History should stay but I think that it would be good if we let people use /calladmin to report things on the server when staff are present secretly since it doesn't really cause any harm.
     
    I would also like to suggest that we have a scheduled timer for where it tells people on the server in the chat that you can talk to staff using @ in teamchat and if people abuse it then they could be warned, kicked (etc).

    I personally wouldn't be too concerned about people who frequent the site suddenly learning this and attempting to exploit it themselves now as, well, that'd be incredibly stupid. I'm pretty sure most people here a smart enough to not go and exploit a map simply because they know how now.
    That being said, I wouldn't mind a more general consensus on this though. It's kinda obviously exploiting and thus shouldn't be allowed from what I see, but I've seen this actually called both ways by different staff before.

    hey guys this is just a quick note for staff to know if you are moderating deathrun.
     
    The map dr_dungeon_beta is a fantastic map, no doubt about that and I don't want to see it removed and neither does anyone else. But there is a map exploit which allows players to bypass 2 traps without giving the death a chance to kill them. I don't believe this is intended from the map designer and therefore players should not be doing this.
     
    The exploit occurs in the area outside after the lift down. To do the exploit players much crouch jump onto the wall and if done correctly they will be on an invisible ledge which allows the players to run through the entire outside zone of the map without risk of traps. This is undoubtedly unfair to the death and the players playing fairly that players are able to do this bypass.
     
    Now I'm not going to support the map being removed as its such a great map and everyone enjoys it, however I am putting out this message for our staff to take note of and to be wary during this part of the map for any players attempting the exploit and to punish them accordingly.
     
    we shouldn't let one or two bad apples spoil the bunch.

    Alright, so he thinks I insulted him when I actually was trying to back him up from someone calling him an 8 year old for TAUNTING after a kill.... But apparently he read it wrong and thought I called him an 8 year old. Just want to clear that up however.
     
    I have experienced nothing but negative from him and he just spams ‘fag’ on profiles of people that I talk to on the surf server.
     
     
    Just extremely salty, toxic, and immature when he gets punished.
