Hello! I wanted to notify you guys on a few things just so everything is out in the open! Minecraft: The server will be a little delayed because we don't want to release an unfinished server. We are making sure all plugins and spawns are completely finished so expect the server out before the 27th! Raffles: If you used credits to buy a raffle ticket, and have not gotten your credits back please message Rhododendron with the amount that you spent on the raffle. The reason for us making it free entries is because since we technically are not a non-profit org, we aren't allowed by law to have a raffle and sell entries, so we have decided to just make it free. We can exclude user groups so we will still have Sponsor-only raffles and it will be League RP to say thanks to our sponsors. Forums: I hear you all about the changes you guys want, for starters letting people make an application from the tab just like in the past and if it can, we will have that fixed asap! We have implemented a streams section so we will work on getting the streams fixed, and we will slowly add people onto the streams section that we see fit. Please do not spam for it :) If you have any questions or comments I'd love to hear them! Please keep this thread on topic and this alongside the survey that @TheSupremePatriot did will really help us move forward with the community to address the issues you might have. Right now my primary goal as Co-Leader is to keep delivering content for you guys and to improve anything that needs to be fixed. What are you doing? You made a post early on this mod app about how he's not been here for over a year like he says (which you were wrong about btw) and mention nothing about his activity, maturity, and if he'd be a good mod. This means you as a div manager has provided nothing of use to divs including yourself about if he'd be a good mod yet felt the need to post. Now someone who actually sees him on the servers rated his maturity, activity and gave a brief description that just because he included that he's been there long enough and you felt the need to post on the same thread just to call this member out about how one of his things are not a valid condition, even though everything else is very beneficial to divs of CS:GO. He also could have meant since he was here long enough while following rules, fun to play with that he'd be a good mod since he hasn't had an issue with him for the long period of time that he has interacted with the person. You don't think that is a valid comment for divs to see if he should be mod or not? I really shouldn't be having to tell you about this shit as you've been here a long time, especially since the last time I called you out on this thread you said you were just "dank memeing".

Alright well I think this topic is over and done with, as no one is adding anything more to the conversation then what has already been said. People keep mentioning that we shouldn't ban the word outright or not let people say autist or autism which isn't what we proposed at all, so you guys don't need to worry. @Rabid I dunno why you're acting like you have a 0 tolerency for the N word all of a sudden when Mince says FUCK YOU NIGG*R sometimes as a joke in our channel and we all laugh and you've never once opened your mouth about it, or all the racist shit we used to say to Jerome as a joke? All of a sudden the other people are frail little white children who don't care about people they offend and they just sling the N word around? Give me a break. Also you're saying exactly what they were trying to discuss, calling an idiot an Autist (when there are legitimate people diagnosed with autism) because you are insulting that said idiot is demeaning to people with autism and that is what this whole conversation is about. You are using their mental condition as a form of insult. I'm not saying by any means I have not used autistic in the past as an insult towards others but that is why this conversation is good to have. Our disrespect rule in my opinion protects our members quite well, and I will discuss with the higher-ups and also be pretty active in our TF2, CS:GO and Minecraft division servers and see if there is an issue, and if I do find something or hear something from the other staff then we can bring this topic to light again at another time. I appreciate everyone's feedback, and just a little message to everyone, when there are differing opinions, you can give feedback after putting yourself in the other person's shoes instead of thinking your way is the only way. ~Closed

As I've stated, we will not be banning the word outright, and not treat it exactly like if people say nigge* or chin* but if people see others using autistic in a demeaning way towards others and or spamming the word we can just tell them that we don't want people to be uncomfortable. We won't be strict about it but acknowledge it's not encouraged in our servers. I have friends with mild autism and as such I understand that if they are uncomfortable they don't talk about it, it's not because they are scared or worried and they wouldn't just randomly sound depressed that's part of the issue of the mental condition which is why if you read the previous posts @Warriorsfury you would know why this discussion is even taking place.

Yeah that's fair enough, I guess we can just say that context is important, and if someone is using the word autistic in a way that might offend someone, even if no one says that they are offended that staff or members should just mention that we don't allow that in our servers. I'd like to hear other staff give some input.

The issue is it's a very slippery slope and it's very hard to enforce. Do we just ban the word autistic/autism from the servers? Do we mute people who joke about their friends just because we might offend someone on the server? I'm happy we are having this discussion and to hear your comments on it, but just understand in gaming communities things like this aren't crystal clear on what the right move is.

Honestly if it is an issue we can put a rule to stop it, but I would much rather do what we do with other slurs (at least in the past) where if they aren't using the slurs towards somebody to just tell them to not spam it, and if anyone starts getting offended on the server from the slur to just get the person to stop saying it or start issue warnings appropriately (i.e. mute/gag, kick, ban).

Rofl why even mention such a thing with that tone, he's clearly been here for almost a year regardless, and some people apply for mod after a few months of being on the server considering it's not a requirement to be in the servers a year+ for a mod app. It's a mod request and if he's been here for 2 years or even 10 years, it has no reflection on if he would be a good moderator or not. Why not just let the people who see him and play with him comment about it instead? I wouldn't even mind if you mentioned how long he's been in our servers and corrected him if you had also talked about if he is a good member in our servers or if he would be a good mod but instead you leave with 0 input, and just call him out on something so trivial.

By the way, when she originally asked for sponsor, I had asked her if she would like any benefits and she never once mentioned that she wants to pay for powers, or an easier time getting member or just being considered member etc. She also said after she decided to sponsor that she will "work her way up" to mod if she can get member back. Her being sponsor is not in any way her trying to buy her way into the community just to be clear. My +1 doesn't count as I can't get on servers but she always lets me know of rule breakers and asks for staff whenever there's an issue so she's definitely worth having as a member in my opinion.

I agree with forest, "Like i said that is old AF and i dont know why that still matters?" that was not hostile to me in any way, it just seems like he is saying that he posted it a long time back, and that it shouldn't reflect on who he is now which is a totally fair statement. I'm a 0, but please don't comment stupid things on his mod application, or go out of your way to look for a reason to dislike the guy.
