I WAS SLEEPING! Anyways the bans shouldn't have happened, esp without a warning. I will be adding a rule to not bump threads over 6 months old since there are many threads that aren't locked from the past and it removes gravedigging TROLLS. Edit: I agree with owl that only the first person who gravedug should have been banned, but if it was bumped by the bump thread tool then just a warning would have been fine. As it wasn't a rule to bump threads from so long ago you can get a refund on any threads that got removed that you bumped, but this day forth the rule will be in place. The other comments will be discussed with the higher ups. ~Closed

I do like the idea of giving benefits to active members through the raffle, but I don't know the exact functionality of the raffle system we got from Xenoforo, rhodo might have to code it a bit for that kind of functionality. Regardless I'm +1 I will be posting a full news thread to update for the month of October, including not only the benefits we have for staff on servers/forums, but also giveaways and contests with the community that include things like you suggested (: I'm more then happy to hear more suggestions for how to give away credits or fun things and I'm +1 with everything you posted

Just for some final thoughts just so we are clear, use any voip service with friends from inside and outside xG whenever you'd like, do not use the xG name when making or using another service without consulting with the higher ups first. ~closed

Pretty much what forest said, we have absolutely 0 control over people making discords or hanging out with friends in other servers aside from our teamspeak, but we do prefer not to seperate the groups and prefer everyone to use our teamspeak if they have access. We have spent a ton of time and resources onto our teamspeak and prefer it to be utilized by as many people as we can :)

Well this is obviously a shitty situation, I didn't know how you were 2013-late 2016 but I do agree that it'll be best if you leave if that's how you feel. I will just explain why it's easier for a person to get mod if they are friends with staff and active on TS than otherwise. The staff knows the member much more, and as such, it's easier to tell if he's active, interested in being staff, and if he is (or seems) capable. That's why we have mod apps as well, and why we always ask for the community input. It is also why it takes multiple staff behind the scenes to promote/demote someone. Regardless, stuff like this is completely common in any gaming community that doesn't have 24/7 populated servers with staff that are on 24/7. Also compared to a workplace where you work 9-5, in a gaming server it's very common to make friends with staff who are generally the most active and most well known. Regardless, I wish you the best of luck, thanks for all the maps you have ported for us, and regardless of you leaving xG that you at least stay in touch with the friends you made once in a while.
