If someone was spamming "nigger" in chat, are you going to type out your warning before gagging, or are you going to gag them and prevent them from spamming the chat? By the time you type out your warning message, the chat log could be completely flooded with the racial slur. Whereas you could gag them quickly, and then warn them without the chat spam before ungagging.

 

Same goes for muting. Chances are, your voice won't even be heard over the person yelling into their mic, therefore you should mute them and then warn them before unmuting.

I was the banning admin, in case anyone is wondering. He freekilled two others, and then freekilled me, which the other two bans I was watching from next to medic [This was on electric razer, he was outside of armory, killed two Ts, then killed me immediately after. None of us attacked him]

Your reason for mass freekilling is incredibly stupid, to put it simply. That is not a reason to kill anyone. Thinking we will try to kill you doesn't give you the right to kill us, nor does if we attempt to attack you. If we do not physically damage you, [i.e. Knifing AT you], then you can not kill us.

Megarobin, Bleed and myself all thought this was the MostDope/HighSociety/Poncher, so we were apparently thinking he was impersonating. Lol. I had thought "No this can't really be Poncher" and when I heard his voice, I knew it wasn't him.

The old admin handbook that I have saved said this:

Mic Spammers

If a person joins the server and uses his microphone to spam(screaming into his mic, talking over everyone, making annoying noises or sounds into their microphone) you have to warn them verbally or via AllChat. If they don't stop after the warning, you mute them for a round. If the next round they do not stop, you kick them with a reason explaining "Mic spammer"(Mic spammer is a perfect reason of course)

If they come back and continue to mic spam, you are to ban them from the server for 60 minutes from the server. Anything more or less is breaking the rules.

But this is so out of date.

I was there for this, but only saw in chat that he muted him, was talking to Bleed on Teamspeak before seeing in chat that Matsi muted Paulie.

You should have given a warning for one, and while it was over the mic, in the screenshot it does show you saying "That is the warning" which shouldn't have been an immediate mute.

Actually looking at that took me a moment to find it.

I had planned on giving the DMs access but apparently didn't, which was a fault on my end. I'm not adding any more plugins without consulting at least one of the two DMs with approval. It's a community and we need to work together, not be on two different rails.

I honestly don't know why they did.

It had been removed because it was out of place on the cfg. I noticed it but didn't think about it at the time.

I was the main one, but was going to discuss with the DMs about it, but got side tracked.

nothing against furries, matsi, darkwolf, bronies, and whatever the fudge, if it gets to the point where 80% of the people in your group hate you then i think it's time to throw in the towel. Also, where has darkwolf been? i haven't seen him at all until that post was made, talk about bias bullshit. Stumpy did go a bit to far i feel it will get to the point where if you call someone a furfag you will get banned. this could happen because of how grey the disrespect line is, how seriously they take their furry nature, and how they are in power. that's my two cents.

I have been around, just not as much. School is back in session, work catches me after school some days, and my laptop is a complete piece of shit, near broken entirely. But the good news is my parents are helping me buy a laptop after they get their tax refund whenever that comes after the first of February.
