Since you're most likely playing FPS games, I don't really see a reason to buy a K95 since those are best for RTS games where you need macro keys, in which I recommend the K70. But since it seems like you have alot of money, I recommend reds over the browns. Reds are "better" for gaming due to the fact that they require a smaller amount of force for the key to activate.

The big difference between brown and red is:

Red is Linear and Brown is Tactile... see animations below for the main difference

That extra little bump on the brown is what makes it *click*, making it easier to type with but slightly harder to do something like doubletap in gaming.

You should just get red, it'll be fine for you, as long as you don't mind typos when your typing, assuming you type a lot...

A lot of people like reds for gamings, it's really what you prefer and what's comfortable for you... I think browns have a more clicky feeling and the reds have almost none, making them sort of mushy feeling, here's a nice video that will give you more info on the different switches and what the colors mean:

I'd be happy to help set up/manage a server to try this out for a bit... could maybe even host it on my own server unless xG has a spare I could use.... :)

So, I was honestly shocked to find out that xG still has servers for some divisions that are nearly always empty. I think it is time to trim the fat of the community and get rid of some of these dead divisions to free up funds for new things that will bring in members and give current members access to newer games.

I was looking at the only statistics I could find on the CS:GO div server and from what I can tell it is almost always empty or at most has 2-4 players for like an hour once a week... The staff don't even seem to actively play in the div.

Another thing I have found is that it seems a lot of the "higher ups" like CLs and DLs don't seem to be very active in ANY div that the clan has and I feel like the higher ups that are in charge of some important decisions regarding the future of this clan should play a more active role, and play on the servers to get to know more of the members.

I would like to hear other peoples' thoughts and opinions on this. :)

Well, there you have it. Give the guy a slap on the wrist and monitor his behaviour ingame. If he keeps acting up, demote him. We all know that Paid Staff have a much shorter leash (so to speak) than those who actually earned the rank.

 

Though I am just as interested as diabeetus in knowing how someone who was demoted from Paid Moderator was able to pay for it again. I get that there are financial problems, but if someone starts slaying everyone (over exaggeration) and is promptly demoted, they shouldn't be allowed to pay for a rank again. With that said, I strongly insist that the higher-ups ([uSERGROUP=23]@Community Leader[/uSERGROUP] ) consider the notion of terminating any instances in which Players/Members are allowed to pay for a Paid rank more than once. If financial problems are truly that bad, then at the very least consider increasing the amount required by first/second/etc time offenders for a Paid rank (IE. additional 20$) so they aren't just let off the hook so easily.

Because noone that actually has a say in who get promo/demoed actually cares if someone is good enough to be staff...the only thing that matters is how many "friends" you have or how deep your pockets are. :)

I have NEVER once EVER seen you use powers to actually admin the servers, I've only ever seen you abuse your powers as DM or Mod doing things like spamming lenny faces, using setclass and btg for ammo and health that you then use to exploit deathrun, or respawn yourself after calling someone names when they "freekill" you.... I doubt you would be any better than the rest of the staff here.

I have not even seen you on the servers for like a month.... and you've said you dislike having to actually HELP the servers by responding to the calladmin bot...

In the case of something like this, yes.... most people will only enforce the disrespect rule if someone says that the comments are bothering them.... otherwise they might just think it's standard shit talking in game.... I suggest you ask the person to stop calling you whichever name(s) are offensive, and if they don't, report it to the staff online, or with calladmin or the forums...

It not the name, it's the parts inside. Alienware is pay for the sticker. I could post the stronger parts for someone to build themselves. But Alienware activists would still say there's is better.

I didn't say that AW was the best or that nothing could be made better, I said that AW do not suck.... yes you pay more for the brand and the flashy, but they still build some pretty good premade computers that run games well.

If you want something better, you would always need to custom build it for your purpose, but for a nice premade computer or if you're just too lazy, AW is decent. They are also one of the first people I seen make a nice premade steamOS machine Alienware Alpha

And I think $700 for the best one they have so far is fair:

While a melee warday, regardless if the cmd !mwarday is used or not, When LCT is activated the LCT CAN use guns and is NOT restricted to melee only.

LCT ALWAYS overrides the current day.... the day becomes "LCT" and is no longer melee warday.... same thing for freedays and hide and seek, etc...

This is why when LCT activates on warday/freeday, the last red gets LR (normally there is no LR on freeday/warday)

Could staff members please try to enforce this properly so that people will stop being confused and such on the server? THANKS!
