  1. What about the walls that are transparent to bullets on rocket jumping servers? Is there someway to integrate that?

If we had the mappers on hand, yes as it is a map-side feature. In fact certain maps DO have that feature to stop pesky little cheaters, but not all of them. So, essentially we are stuck with the problem of the mappers from times unknown being unavaliable to fix a little exploit with jumper weapons.

  2. Is there a way to make it so that you can't shooting a rocket at your feet or stickies doesn't knock you back in the surf area but it can in the arena?

Sadly no, as the server has no way of knowing who has been where. To have it map side the mapper would have to edit it, and we don't have the people who make surf maps on call; especially given some of them are from before TF2 was a game (eg. CS:S maps). Even if we could call them up I doubt there are tools in hammer that can stop knockback, but don't quote me on that.

  3. First off, I am only busy because of drumline/marching band and AP classes combo (thankfully our team sucks this year, so I don't think we will go for a stupid long american football season) which takes up 3 of my weekdays complemented by 3 AP level classes leaves me with constraints for the time being(I have to cram a weeks worth of AP homework into 2 days). However I can still get on often enough to manage what I need to. Thankfully in a couple months give or take when the season ends I will have a vastly more open schedule. I can still maintain a 20 hours a week on the servers and check forums regularly atm, I just won't have time to sit around on servers/TS for hours every day is all.

Secondly, Egossi is not someone I think would be well fitted for DM, but it may just be that I am not a huge fan of his personality. Personal problems with him aside, I have seen him address staff problems better since the Caleb incident and he admins fine and all, but something about him rubs just me wrong when I see him in servers. I will remain neutral for now on the topic, but as I said I can keep with with requirements, I just have a lot going on for a little bit.

  5. Banning him permanently isn't going to stop him from writing vulgar things on your profiles. Instead of extending to perm, you guys need to utilize the features that Steam provides. You either ignore him and delete his comments, or you go to your profile settings and set the permissions to "Friends only". He can't post onto your profile if he's not friends with you guys.

I'm sorry, but this one is for you guys to solve. We can't hold your hand all the time. Especially over petty stuff like this where he is looking for you guys to react this way.

Once his month ban is up and Alf causes trouble on the servers still, then it'd be more realistic to request a perm.

If he is raiding steam profiles, you could just delete his comments and ignore him, or I think you could block all communication with that user (unsure what that does for profile posts).

I would say wait for him to return and then make the call based on his behavior post-ban.

  6. Unless like one of the suggestions someone in the server made implementing bhop maps on e surf serve,r however due to the limited amount of people whom know how to bhop, the maps most likely would be switched too via map change command by a dm+

I would recommend getting a plugin that auto bhops for the average who can't do it manually so they don't feel left out of the fun when the map is switched to said bhop map. That is, if this idea is used.

  7. First off, @Derpy_Patriot my name has a 12. Thanks for the thought though.

Secondly, surprisingly thenewalfmonster has not been rude to me at all considering how much time I spend on Surf. That said I have noticed that the kid gets super triggered and aggressive if you cross him/her and tends to break a few rules with insults that often use slurs and general disrespect. Many of the other regulars do not like him/her much at all because of the behavior that is presented in this thread and I do think that a ban may be a reasonable solution as he/she has had other warnings. I would be +1 in favor of a ban, though I think maybe a couple months or so would be very justified but I am unsure of a perm at the moment. I would hear the opinions of the other higher ups @Bello @Goblins.
