If you haven't been listening to the past few messages I said the bad ones can be removed. Like crits can probably be replaced maybe I dont know mini-crits? Theres also the timer which is something you haven't talked about either because if you were worried about abuse there you go it can now be slowed down. Now you SHOULD KNOW YOU CAN REMOVE THE BAD ONES there can't be that much abuse with it since the ones you can abuse are gone. You also forgot some like god-mode and infinite ammo but THEY CAN ALWAYS BE REMOVED. This sort of stuff can all be modified so it isn't that big of a deal. Another thing is that there are a lot of regulars to tag so I'm not sure if I'm going to tag all of them right now lmao.

But if you "REMOVE ALL THE BAD ONES" it will end up being a rng based disability plugin. Literally nobody would want that because last I checked people used rtd for the positive effects.

...Plus I'm pretty sure just because people from *other servers* dont like !rtd doesn't mean that people will hate it on surf. We could try seeing how !rtd would work with the server and how regulars and new comers feel about it.

Aww hells to the naw. I don't hide that I hate rng based elements, and the !rtd plugin is like the king of rng elements. -1

Also, if we are going to remove anything that might help spawncamping (pretty much any positive effect), wouldn't it just be left as a rng based disability plugin?

I don't see a need for Supreme on probationary mod as he has more than proven in the past that he can handle himself with full mod powers as far as I am aware so +1 for straight to mod, and I am with you on Benny for mod. but I have bad experiences with Thunder in the past (albeit back from when he was last staff), and I have been too tied up with studying for finals (woo!) to have any other knowledge of him so I will stay neutral there because he might have changed since then. And yes, we should demote lik and flareon for inactivity unless someone has a very good excuse...

I believe we discriminate against snipers specifically here is because they benefit the most from spawn sniping due to their lack of damage falloff which every other class has to deal with. They also are very vulnerable while sniping because tunnel vision, so the no spawnkilling rule helps them out because nobody can shoot them back. I would be cool with including every class in the rules, I just thought I would try to explain why snipers in particular are so commonly seen doing this.

I think getting a day ban is sending calladmin abusers a stronger message to not do it again as well as sending everyone else the message that abusing the plugin is not xd funni memes. That said, I think we could try new things and decide to change it back later if we find the suggestion does not work out all that well because as they say, hindsight is 20/20. I will stay neutral for now on changing it because while I have nothing against trying out new ideas we do already have a system that works well for our purposes.

That would be very nice if it could happen. But something that could fix all of this is having spawn protection only in your spawn but when you leave the area it automatically makes you vulnerable. Is that a possible thing?

This is on the map to do, it would have to be made within the hammer file for the map, and then recompiled and re-downloaded by everyone. It cannot be coded in by the server and we would have to find every mapmaker to add this in for us due to this problem. I don't think I have to explain how hard it would be to get in contact with the mapmakers, let alone get them to edit fairly old and considered finished projects. Basically, it is effectively impossible to do unless someone feels like jumping through lots of loops to add a pretty minor fix.

Ahh, about YeEternalTuna, I was going to suggest we demote him for vanishing, but as I found out when I was asking around about him it turns out that Tuna decided to go on vacation without notifying any of us or making an inactivity thread. I wouldn't say demote him yet, but I will have a talk with him about communicating better in the future.

Otherwise, I think the promos and demos look fair.

So if Rejects is getting promo'd back to DL, I would like to promote more admins because we would be left with 3.

Now I would suggest promoting TheVacindak and Kypari to admin because I trust both of them enough for it, but I want some second opinions on that (or other suggestions) @BlankuChan @Egossi @Bello.

Also, Parasect is still probationary mod, and I think we could make him a full moderator at this point.

I would be cool with it. People abuse and they lose power, just like any other thing.

There was 3 people killing from in the spawn cause i was sitting in the doorway and they killed me and they cant do that unless they get ontop of the wall or if they get in the spawn.

So you tell us staff so we can handle it using either the message the admins chat or by using your mic and saying "Hey x,y, and z are spawnkilling" and then us staff will handle it. But using the calladmin with staff on is not allowed and to quote the rules

"If a staff member is not online when you need one, please use the !calladmin plugin to call an admin to assist you!

Abusing the !calladmin plugin will result in a minimum of a day ban."

We had myself and kypari on who you could have asked for help from, so using the command was pointless.
