Hardly, I direct you to this link of the previous games that should've killed TF2 as the people say. We may see a slightly decreased playercount, but TF2 has been around for ~8.5 years and will hardly be put down with this quite so easily. Besides F2P has the price advantage on $40 minimum.

As a support player, I agree completely. The team actually has to rely on a support, in some aspect. With TF2's Medic, you could totally just all play scout in a pub and go crazy with the health packs. I feel so much more impactful playing Lucio or Mercy.

Personally I don't really see an issue with it, but PvtSoldier did. He did the right thing to post this onto the forums. Focus on the point of the thread rather than where the user posted it.
 
What Matsi did doesn't really warrant any form of severe punishment. A simple "don't do it again" is all that I see is needed, but as DL and CL's should chime in and give their input.
 
Also Matsi, you should refrain from saying stuff about people on the server. If you have an issue with someone, then you should take it up with them personally. Doing things like this just adds fuel to the fire and starts to cause drama. Which is the thing you're trying to avoid. Just think before you act.

Overwatch is a damn good game, And it isn't tf2. Mei isn't the pyro, zarya isn't the heavy, mercy...alright mercy is 100% the medic, only can fly and revive dead players, so it would be better, but mercy can't overheal.
 
It's mechanically so different from tf2, you can tell the devs looked at tf2 as a jumping off point but they really aren't similar games. They wont threaten eachother.

Was pretty fun, had a good time and mainly only played with others when I did. Some stuff in it feels a little wonky or perhaps OP but that's bound to happen when there's 20+ classes to play. Also hoping that they add new modes relatively quickly.
 
Mostly played Mercy and Lucio with the occasional Reinhardt, Bastion, or Torbjorn if someone else was stealing the support role in the group.

Hey everyone. For the last couple months, I've been contemplating my experiences in xG. I've come to the conclusion that I am not exactly happy with what is going on in the TF2 division and I no longer have the time or ability to worry about it anymore. Unfortunately, due to real life circumstances, I feel it is time that I step down to member. Most of you who know me personally will understand why. If you don't, I'll explain it. My Uncle was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma about 6 months ago and we have been searching around for bone marrow donors. Turns out, I'm a match. I'm going to fly out to him next week and donate my marrow. Concurrently, I have to figure out college and my career.
 
I know I haven't exactly been myself during these past few months, and I apologize again if anyone was upset by it. Stress has a way of affecting people that isn't very pretty. However, before I step down, I want to thank some people:
 
Rhodo and Kbraszzle: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to improve the TF2 division. I feel that I have been able to improve the overall quality of our servers.
Hachi, Chicken, and Whyte: Even though we had a rough patch a couple months ago, thank you for being great friends. I miss all of the memes and laughter that we shared, and I wish you the best.
Bello: Good luck with TF2, it's your baby now :)
Rejects: It's up to you to hold the standards now. I believe you can do it, bud! :D

God I forget how long it's been since that one thread I made a while ago with a few fudgey WIP sketches. Hm.. I'm really not sure what to say exactly. You have been "that guy" one times too many Xranth. I've even tried to help you stay out of trouble in the past. But going back to what KB said, people can't really change that quick. You tried to pull that on me once as well, saying you'll change the way how you were. Although, I can't judge you so quickly, so I'm going to stay neutral.

First off, I know I coulda posted in the Server Suggestion Thread, but I didn't want this buried and unseen
 
So if anyone remembers a while back, the Servant Grunt (when he was on) used the Pyro attributes, but was later switched to Heavy. Meaning he then used the Heavie's attributes, but still the normal Model and Animations
I suggest that somebody who has access to the Bosses .cfgs simply change Heavy and Scout bosses to use the Sniper's attributes instead. No more Hyper/520 bosses, no more Bosses leaving early. The models will still work and all animations should function just fine
