I've been over this again and again and again and again He got banned for slurs and leaving, not he got banned for slurs and then LEAVING. That would make it a week ban since he was banned for slurs in the past. I'm not arguing with you again because it's pretty clear you are adamant on this, but it's been a while since I disagreed so much. Ban decay is a year, it's in the handbook now

We have ban decay for a reason, and that is so that we can punish people appropriately depending on how long ago since their last ban. In this case, ban decay is not in effect, and since he has been banned for the exact same reason (minus the cherry on top micspam), it would certainly be a week ban. We also don't do extended mutes/gags for minor things like slurs, but rather for things like bad mics. I would not be as opposed to an extended mute had he not been banned before. Considering his history, it's not out of the question. However, I agree in giving a second chance since most people don't come back to actually have that second chance if they get banned in the first place. If he breaks rules then he just gets banned again and won't get unbanned +1

We're trying too hard at this point. There's literally no benefit to banning people from saying words like autistic or other such words unless they specifically offend people, and that's basically the whole premise for the word faggot too.

You're saying "you guys" as if I personally care about the word and we are actively actually going to do anything about this. Saying that "you just need to grow thicker skin" is incredibly ignorant and doesn't consider the mental state of the person. Internet or not, words can hurt people and just because they don't hurt you or me doesn't make it OK to say it to someone else. As I have literally said in this thread, I don't think we should ban the word faggot, but obviously if someone is being disrespectful towards you then that's a problem. Consider how OTHER people feel and not what YOU feel. I don't care about the word myself as I've said. I'm a fucking faggot and I've said it a few times on discord too because it's funny to say.
