+1 Originally gonna be a 0 here as well, but honestly I know how dumb I was at 14, and at the age of 19 it's hard to not have matured at that point. This is not to give him powers or rejoin the clan yet, but I think letting him back in the servers (he uses TS anyways) won't be an issue. Worst thing that happens is he gets rebanned and we never see him again. I was also there when he originally got banned and he is the reason for one of the greatest memes in our community.

Heres my thoughts on it, I personally just came back so I have 0 idea on your maturity and activity with the userbase, and you caused a shit ton of probs in the past but I know youre older now so I would recommend if you do not meet the amount of plus ones to just be active on the servers and let people decide for themselves if youve changed. 0 from me due to the reasons stated above

+1 A: 9 M: 8 The reasons are as follows: He has been active on getting our minigames to be a top server alongside the CS:GO divs by constantly finding new minigame maps and testing them out on his own free time. This was all while he was non-member. Now he wanted to take the responsibility of reviving the Minecraft division even though many members laughed about it or said "Not worth trying". He is comfortable with Java and wanted to take this opportunity to practice his skills on this project alongside Owl. If any negative issues happens then I can be held responsible and I'll be sure to fix any issue that may arise. He also will not get paid for this as this will be all volunteer work so I would say giving him a chance can't hurt.

I do kind of like the idea of "community leader" but I might rename it I dunno. Silence refuses to be a sole rank, so I'll just share Co-leader with him, and I think i'll keep the rank of Community leader for now as it is, but demote a few high up staff who are inactive. Next promo demo more things will be clear (:

So far the ideas are League 5v5 Summoners Rift, CS:GO 5v5 active maps and 1v1 aim maps, Tf2 Highlander, Minecraft build competitions, Art competitions and most if not all will be free to enter, but can give credits or real life items (i.e. RP for league). Is there any ideas you guys can think of that the community or people out of the community would want to participate in?

Some of you oldfags might know me, but I joined xG back in 2011 and had been staff till I left due to issues around 2013ish. I'm happy to be back and I hope you guys are ready for the tournies, content, and overall changes (for the better) we are going to be providing you. I promise to put in a shit ton of effort and keep the communication between the members and staff active so we know how to better the servers and experience for everyone. I mean if you personally keep the goal of 10-20 posts a week than +1 from me. It's definitely better than the 0 activity it has now

Can you give a brief rundown on what you would be doing on the xG facebook group to keep it active? What content will you be posting, how often etc? Definitely happy to see someone bring it back to life and increase traffic on it

Personally I would wait at least a week or two of being active before asking for a unban from CT after just getting unbanned from a perm server ban. Let the members + staff see that you are a player that is worth unbanning. My 2 cents

I'll just reply to you here since I don't wanna leave a bunch of comments. Silence's budget covers the xG cost which is why he hasn't chased making it self-sufficient. Saying it hasn't been done so it isn't reasonable isn't valuable in a discussion and I have no idea your aim from those comments. The other one is staff not being active due to it being volunteer is something I completely understand as I have volunteered as staff from near the beginning of this clan and co-leaded for over a year for not even a penny. There are ways to increase staff activity without forcing them, and that is what I want to work on. These ways include -Populating the servers -finding members that are willing to be staff who are active -adding incentives to playing on servers -adding new servers etc You can see from my post that I'm trying to help xG as a whole, don't bother commenting if you aren't going to give anything constructive. If your attitude was shared then nothing would improve in this community.

For the members addressing Minecraft, 1. We will not remove resources from 1 thing for it, especially since we do not know 100% if the demand is there. 2. We will first find people to staff it actively, and also look for ways to keep the demand for it stable by figuring out which mod/mods people want 3. You do not have to play if you do not want, I promise! Other than that, feel free to keep writing issues with either anything I have stated, or something you would like to be addressed

First off, I finally got my old account back so hype! Second of all, I will most likely return (no troll) with conditions that I have talked with Silence/Rhodo about and I will explain some of the changes that are to be expected to be worked on when I fully rejoin. 1. Make xG completely self-sustainable. This means zero dollars coming from Silence's pocket monthly and all of it from Ads, Sponsors and Donations. This will also result in more servers, more server incentives, and circling back to advertising xG on other platforms. More news on this soon. 2. Improve the staff activity on servers that need it. This includes TF2 as well as CSGO, I or another higherup will be in touch with the DL and DMs of the communities to think of solutions to addressing these problems. 3. Getting a permanent and dedicated server, staff and user base on Minecraft. 4. Cleaning up the MOTDS/Guides, and trying to promote more discussion and activity on the forums. Self-Explanatory 5. Listening and promoting more community feedback. The servers begin and end with the userbase, and I think more people need to be encouraged to speak about problems that they are having, or changes they would like to see. 6. Uhhh god damn it I'm just about to go to bed and I see this thread.. I'll post why you SHOULDN'T accept him when I wake up. "Side note" Silence/Rhododendron was the main reason *although I never argued with him about it" that Ducki Jr. was banned from servers and not allowed to be affiliated with us for the most part. I'm not xG anymore, and obviously community has a big say, but trust me, this is just as bad as giving someone like Netex another chance. Also, how are you guys giving his activity and maturity a fucking 8-9 out of nowhere?
