How about making it a slayable offense. Where that, if they are to do so to two or more people for no given reason, they can be slain. If they claim he was rebelling and he needed to be marked, that's not allowed.

Sounds to me like somebody's afraid of some hard work.

Populating servers is not an easy task. If it were, all clans would be populated. We need something that keeps players coming back, something that makes our servers actually rewarding. The ranking system helps, but fails in comparison to store. With hub, plenty of players had something to look forward to, and the clan actually cared about features. Now, the CS:S servers are mostly bland that nearly everyone could copy. No unique maps, very little custom plugins, no custom skins, etc. If we had some sort of gimmick, something that encouraged playing, then we would be more successful.

Most people still play CS:GO. Hub will only become more popular. Many of the features that work for CS:S work for CS:GO. If you don't want a game that a majority of the community wants, then you lose members of the community. For small games such as Killing Floor and other small games, if the population died down, many wouldn't care. However, when you removed one of the big four then you lose members. I tried to salvage what was left of CS:GO by giving them TF2 mod, and hoping they would wait it out.

So, don't stop developing hub for CS:S because you don't think it will work out. That sounds like a sorry excuse. If you have school stuff and other issues that's fine, but don't tell us it's because you're afraid "I'll be wasting my time." You might be the leader, but we're the community, and although you have a greater say to what has to be done, doesn't mean there won't be members leaving.

Oh, and another thing. What happened to hub being out early Spring 2013? Summer 2013? We're still waiting.

Exactly. Some of you guys want me to code something to save a dying game. That is complete nonsense. If Valve wanted the game to thrive they would update new stuff, and it seems that they rather have CS:GO in the frontline then a 10 year old game. Can you really blame them?

Basically, he's copying our server. I really didn't care enough, but he decides to get really defensive and call our admins stupid. So I decided to teach him a lesson, without trolling him too much. It really upsets me that people just do this sort of thing because they can. I don't care about the server, I'm just disappointed they can't think of an original idea.

Look, if they leave, it's on their own accord, and should be treated as such. They just want to hang it with their friends, and you can't blame them for that. I say if the leave on a personal note, they can always be accepted. It's just those who were kicked out, then regulation is needed. Most of the clan members aren't loyal, they've begun to doubt why their still here.

If anything, this decision will only hurt [xG] more than it helps. I just want people to be able to rejoin on their own time, not that they leave and go somewhere for a few months, decide they want to play video games again, and learn they can't rejoin the clan because of some idiot rule. No other clan that I can think of has this rule, and their servers have 10x the number of members playing in them. I could understand if we had a surplus of members coming, but right now, we need all the members we can get.

Instead of doing that, why don't we allow a -1 reason to be "Joined another clan and left this one." We can filter out who we don't want, and decide who we want to keep. It shouldn't be that hard, and people would love it. The way we have now just isn't cutting it.

I had to go into reserve powers that silence forgot to take off, talk to Duckii, where she then rebanned all of us, and changed her name to Zeal and Console, etc. I want her perm'd, especially since she said she's never coming back. Just ban her and leave her alone.

lol pop being 10 - 30 each day. When I came to this clan it was hard to even get in the server.

Might be more populated if you actually played, instead of circle-jerking in teamspeak, complaining about how none of the Div Leaders are populating.

I say we let the clan make new emotes as a sort of contest. Maybe the winner can receive special emotes only he can use or something.

Eh, I feel that removing the chance of rejoining in order to protect the clan's integrity is overall foolish. People leave for dumb reasons, and it takes longer for some to realize their mistakes. Many people leave because progress isn't being made. as soon as they see new implementations, they rejoin and have discover a new sense of appreciation for what they have missed. They can reconnect with different members of the community. They can discover that they were being foolish, and always have a nice home where they left. If they left on a bad note, I'm pretty sure it would be noted, and they wouldn't get accepted, but denying everybody, even the most wanted members, after a certain time frame is begging for issues.

Pretty soon afterwards, we'll see special cases, where somebody was such an important member of the community, will be let back in, simply because everybody enjoys their presence. Sure, for a while, you'd have a decrease, but I bet afterwards, it'll go back to normal, people leaving and rejoining.

This seems like a half-ass measure. I'd say either prevent them from rejoin at all, which I know nobody is for, or allow them to rejoin at any time. Just have a talk with the admins that you as a higher up aren't comfortable with putting this person in the same position of power they had before. At least that way, they'll have to work harder to regain everybody's trust. That's what I do with TF2 members who leave. They can rejoin at any time, but they can't receive admin or mod for 3 months after rejoining.
