Just an open discussion involving the Raffle system as well as any other events made for the community. Was wondering if there was any way to put restrictions on the Raffles? For instance, making Members who have a certain amount of posts (IE. 50+) eligible to enter up to 2 times in a Raffle, Members who have more than that (IE. 100+) are eligible to enter up to 3 times in a Raffle, etc. Is this something that could be worked into the current Raffle system? The reason behind bringing this up is two-fold: Incentive for Members to be more active on our Forums Discourages Players/Members from abusing the system by making multiple accounts for multiple entries *Keep in mind that this would only apply to Raffles that yield pricey prizes and such, as we do not want to completely cut anyone who doesn't fit the criteria (could result in a decline in interest) Another fun idea revolving around our TeamSpeak Server could involve a sort of 'Guessing Game' event wherein players would gather in a single TeamSpeak Channel (authoritative presence is mandatory to prevent mic spam, chat spam, etc) and the Host would either play a sample, song [short clip], or whatever and Players will have to guess what it's from (via text only). Prizes could include hub credits, etc. It goes without saying that the 'Host' will need to be using the proper set-up for maximum clarity of the sound clip. Post your concerns, suggestions, opinions or any other content relating to the topic at hand below.

One of the reasons I avoid playing Ranked is because I play the game to have fun; which typically means playing with unconventional builds from time to time (Crittlesticks) and just generally not taking the game seriously. Chances are you'll face toxicity both in and out of ranked, it'll just be more potent in ranked because it's full of try-hards who want to win and excel, and they can't do this if others aren't "pulling their weight" so to speak. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case as there's a huge tendency for players to get tilted from minor things which in turn affects their gameplay. More often than not, I've found that players who lose their cool end up bringing the whole team down. Whether that be through verbal abuse, or through irrational decision making. We all know that one player; the one that continuously throws him/herself at an opposing player with the mentality of 'this time I'll kill him' until they go into full tilt mode when it never works and the enemy snowballs off of it. Or the one player who starts picking apart the team in terms of whose lane is doing the worst and solely blames them for throwing the game. Needless to say, if you plan on playing Ranked it's important not to let anyone get to you; opposing players or otherwise. Prepare yourself for the toxicity beforehand and act accordingly. If someone is upset with how you're playing, simply defuse the situation by apologizing, stating that you're somewhat new to the ranked scene, or what-have-you. It's far easier (and way more constructive) to acknowledge that someone on the team is upset and to reply in a way that won't make them tilt any harder than it is to give a sarcastic or hostile response. It's fine if you guys want to set up a Discord for use outside of Xeno Gamers' Team Speak, that isn't what I'm getting at. What I'm getting at here is labeling the Server/Channel as a 'Xeno Gamers' Server/Channel when it isn't/hasn't been given the 'okay' by our upper management. Also, just to clarify (my apologies for not specifying), the 'Higher-Ups' that I was referring to in my previous post was directed at anyone in a position above Division Leader [no offense] as Division Leaders lack the proper authority to make a call outside of their particular domain [typically Server side, rule specifics, etc]. As a friendly reminder, do keep in mind that the CLs+ are the ones to approach for anything community related (IE. Sponsored events, groups, new Divisions, etc) as this is one of their primary roles in the clan. Just to reiterate, I have no complaints about players getting together on a different application to game and have fun; Xeno Gamers is all about fostering a sense of community and having a good time. It's great to see Members taking an active interest in expanding Xeno Gamers; I definitely don't want to discourage that and I'm sure the Higher-Ups feel the same way. That being said, I'm just suggesting that Players/Members refrain from labeling anything that hasn't been approved or introduced by the CLs+ first as there may be a reason it hasn't been made available to the community :)

Just as a suggestion [and this is only valid if you haven't done-so], and not to shut you down or anything, but you may want to get the 'go-ahead' from Higher-Ups before establishing something that is affiliated with Xeno Gamers (or is otherwise 'sponsored' by Xeno Gamers). I can't/won't speak for the Higher-Ups, but not only could it negatively impact activity on our Team Speak servers (something that dem Higher-Ups have been trying to remedy for quite some time) but Silence seems (correct me if I'm wrong) pretty adamant that a Xeno Gamers Discord Server will/should not be made and this directly goes against his statement which really ought to be considered. Same suggestion goes out to anyone else who may consider creating an external connection to Xeno Gamers without permission; keep in mind that we shouldn't just slap "Xeno Gamers" on something and proclaim it as official without at least receiving an opinion or go-ahead from the Higher-Ups. I'm not too familiar with any legalities or anything, but should something happen revolving around whatever that 'external connection' may be, it could negatively influence the clan or something along those lines. Just my 2 cents and again, just a suggestion :coffee:

That I did, though I meant throwing an event up where people could submit songs they've made or something along those lines. But, looking back on it now, I don't see many people being too interested.. Could be wrong though

Additions/Alterations* - Minecraft Division has now been included and will be updated with IPs for the Servers upon their release.

I wonder if anyone would be interested in producing a short 'intro' theme for Xeno Gamers in general to be played. That would be pretty neat too :coffee:

^Going to have to agree with this. The fact that you explicitly did it because you knew there were no Staff on during the time makes it that much worse; and while I commend you for being honest, the fact that you were banned for scripting on top of that comment makes your already slim chance of being unbanned nearly a 0% chance. Unfortunately, even if scripting is being used as an 'aid' to 'assist' in bhopping, it's still against our Server terms/rules and is punishable by permanent Server ban. At this point, your [possibly] only chance of being unbanned would be to check out this thread and hope for the best: Want To Get Unbanned?
