    Smash Ultimate!

Still praying that papa Sakurai will include Banjo-Kazooie as a fighter. I'm fine with anyone being added as long as it brings a new element to the game and they aren't an echo fighter (or another damn sword-user)
  2. I'm all for community challenges, but this isn't a challenge so much as it is humiliation (basically the intention) which is what makes it perfect as a "free pass" for an unban. Maybe start with something smaller and more manageable, like a singing challenge (audio only)? I doubt that anyone would want to make a public spectacle of themselves by choking down pizza while singing a song all captured on video. Besides, if people want to do stupid things on camera (like lighting oneself on fire Silence), the best place to go for that is to our very own tinychat during get-togethers
  3. Defz 2012 for me. Was only a filthy casual in 2011, didn't really become a part of the Xeno Gamers family until 2012. Gooooood times
  4. Not a huge fan. Though that's because I rally a lot of ARMA, so I prefer PUBG due to the closer resemblance (slower pacing, etc)

  6. Welcome to the Xeno Gamers community fam, hope you enjoy your stay!
  7. A new forum moderator position to correct grammatical errors such as the disgusting abomination above :^) For real doe, what's happening with credits? I've been under a rock for the last several months, so if they were outright removed then disregard this question. But assuming they're still a thing, maybe some sort of plugin to spend em' in to increase a user's Credit balance (eg. mini-games)? Mind you, I have 0 knowledge in this field so I have no idea what is or isn't attainable
  8. ^ On an unrelated note to that- I also recently read an article that data-miners pulled some info that there may be a new hardware listing for the Switch at some point (bumped up Processor + RAM); however, Nintendo did state that they were not planning on launching new hardware in 2018. With that said, they may have just been referring to brand spankin' new hardware and not something along the lines of what they did with their DS line-up. If this is credible, may be a good idea to wait until the next batch unless you're keen on hacking the console or something
  9. https://www.amazon.com/Density-Adhesive-Weather-Stripping-Insulation/dp/B06XCK65QM or any alternative [installed within the dock itself] is an absolute must from what I've seen/read, unless you fancy having a scratched to hell screen. Not sure what thickness is suited best, so you may have to look into that. Make sure you grab a pretty sizable SD Card too if you plan on having multiple games, external storage is another must for it. Last but not least, if you plan on utilizing the portability of it, I would strongly recommend grabbing an external battery pack for it since it gobbles up energy like a madman
  10. Check in every now and then on Forums. Too busy to actively play as much doe
  11. Shalom. Welcome to the Xeno Gamers community friendo!
  12. Is Sea of Thieves worth the money? As someone who rarely has time for games (and with games costing a pretty penny) I wanted to hear from the community before taking any sort of plunge. Would you say that it's a game that has a lot of mileage, or is it the kind of game you'd drop like a sack of potatoes after about a month (think Destiny- any game that stagnates once a "cap" is hit and requires something new to keep it fresh)?
  13. Pleasant surprise to see some pretty cray forum updates; looks dope af

  14. Okay so, this time around this sort of still applies. Normal threads and Pinned threads seem to mesh into each other in the current layout. Is there any way to create headers? Just wondering. PS. WHERE'S MY DANG COFFEE
  15. Happy Holidays Xeno Gamers!

    Seasonal Jams

No, not the kind that you spread on your toast. I'm talking music, people. Since it's that time of year, I'm looking for seasonal tunes, and since we're a gaming community I am interested in one thing and one thing only: video-game inspired [heck, even game OSTs] music that would remind anyone of the holidays. So, bring out your stockpile of seasonal music and dump it all in this thread. I'll start things off with what I am currently jamming out to at work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn_ad3pq6_Y Fun fact: my personal favourite is, and always shall be, Freezeezy Peak from Banjo-Kazooie. What's yours? Happy Holidays all!

  21. Disregard my previous post about making a specific role then, makes it moot if the channel itself can be hidden already by the public.
  22. May want to consider dropping down a line in our rules and adding an excerpt from the previously linked Discord guidelines should the NSFW channel not be removed; or at the very least outline the severity of breaking Discord's own guidelines. Additionally, probably highlight the fact that the 'NSFW' channel is exempt from rules A, B, and C with the exception of X, Y and Z or something along those lines. Unrelated to that, I do agree that we keep things in line with our current structure of rules, but do keep in mind that our [game] Servers are Public and that it is explicitly stated what we do or do not allow ingame. With that in mind, provided that the channel is explicitly stating that it is a channel that is 'NSFW' (would also recommend throwing an "18+ only" in there somewhere, just for the principle of the matter) it is entirely up to the discretion of the user to voluntarily access it. Simply put, the differences are that: Discord The user has to go out of their way to willingly view the content and upon accessing it, has acknowledged the fact that the content in the channel is 'NSFW' and that they are alright with viewing it. Game Server The user is not subjected to such content because it is publicly against the rules of the server; it is not tolerated in any shape or form and therefore the user can expect not to see any 'NSFW' content. Notice that the main distinction is that the user is either willingly accessing that sort of content, or willingly accepts that it is not permitted and can therefore expect not to see it. The users are not expected to enter the 'NSFW' channel, nor will they ever have to. It doesn't make sense to compare the two as they share very little in common, other than the fact that both are endorsed by Xeno Gamers. With that said, I'm fine with it as long as the following [previously mentioned in the thread] is considered: 1. Implementation of a role to allow users to access the channel 2. Routine monitoring to ensure that the content does not breach our own rules/terms as well as Discord's
