I've disabled the ability for channel administrators to kick from server since that was being abused horribly.
 
People keep saying that there are issues with the channel groups and I would appreciate it if someone could elaborate :)

As has been said previously, any kind of emotional manipulation/guilt-tripping will never be tolerated in any form at xG, especially as a suicide threat. This ban is absolutely justified and I see no reason to remove it. While I personally doubt that anyone will disagree with my position, I'd like to hear the input of other higher-ups. Good detective work @Chrono, @Izanagi and @Vector.

@Thunder @GreyIgnis please post screencaps, copy-pasta isn't very reliable (not that I think you're lying, just copy-pasta-ing random walls of text isn't exactly the optimal way to post your proof. Additionally, "witnesses" do not count as proper evidence, you need some sort of hard evidence [screencaps, demos, recordings, etc.] to have legitimate proof of something). I'll watch the demo in a little bit, and then edit this post with my decision.

I'm fairly sure everyone is aware of what these ratings mean aside from ratings like "African", which is just however you want to interpret it. Its nice to see someone who wants to aid on removing the toxicity, but ratings have little to no practical effect. It is entirely up to the "victim", for a lack of better words, who ultimately determines whether they should take offense to something as frivolous as a rating or not. The obvious answer is no, you shouldn't :coffee:

About a year or two ago we tried something similar on the CS:S servers. Instead of xG:r or xG:S, we used xG-r (as in xG-"recruit") in order to distinguish people who had applied to xG but were not yet officially in xG yet. It didn't go well. It only managed to confuse people as to who exactly was and wasn't actually in xenogamers. It's a decent plan on paper, but for us the execution didn't turn out so well.

They already have the privilege of wearing the [xG-Rep] clan tag if they are in the group, this doesn't make them a Member so much as it makes them a supporter. Those who want to be recognized as a full Member have to apply to be one on Forums, and are given the rights to have "xG" in their actual name.
 
I see no problem other than hostile Staff, and if that's the case, screenshot the Staff Member and call them out on it. Players should feel welcomed to the Server, not ridiculed.
