I guess reporting a higher up staff for representing xG in a very negative way/harrasing, flaming the people around him constantly, and ban evading should be talked about under a private topic(and not the thread about harassing), here is my private topic . I already talked to @virr @LeToucan btw. 
I'll just repost all my stuff here so It can get the attention it needs.

As someone who was bullied out of the community LITERALLY (@rabid @any cs member who isnt relatively new), I think I'm allowed to "give my 2 cents"

As many of you may know I'm pretty toxic in 10mans so I shouldn't be talking, but it's usually towards players who are genuinely assholes (does not make the case better I know). I'm not going to say any names or anything but uhh....wait nevermind lol, can someone please tell me why our DM of minecraft has been up for discussion to be banned from 10mans? @icy or whatever that kids tag is on here. I'm sorry for starting shit but this kid is the most disrespectful person in xG I have ever met. I get upset in 10mans over stupid shit just because I am a "more experienced player" and I totally understand that a lot of the players I play with are new, but icy will straight up just scream at new players who don't even know what they did wrong in the first place. I don't know where the "superiority" comes from in his brain because he's an average player but he thinks he's the best. I have talked to MULTIPLE higher ups about this and some are confused on why he's dm in the first place. 
The most positive response I got was "no one else would do it". 
Example -  Last time u played a scrim with us or atleast me was 2 days ago and you were toxic during the game and ended up rage quitting in the end.

I stopped taking it seriously when you defended  this. I'm sorry but there is a reason he is not liked and its a damn good one, when you dig your grave you better try damn fucking hard like I did to undig it to be liked by many, Have not even seen a single attempt for him to make him self liked. I understand the point of your post but you really need to use better examples if you're going to use examples. I for one understand having levels to toxicity, and if people exceed it staff should not bat eyes to people they like.

I freaked out at people a week or two ago for the same reason, people are way too trigger happy to throw other people under the bus and its really upsetting. Good post tat!

Hello, I video game within the counter-strike realms (In house games, mini-games, occasional jb), MOBAs, random party games, and MMOs. I thought I may as well apply because I enjoy spending time in voice chat and text chat and I am not a complete jackass. 

10/10 reading. Again you ignore me. It's like you read the first sentence and think "o wow this person is dumb lemme fix dat" and obviously you don't know how staffing works. Punishment is accumulated. If someone is banned for an hour than repeats the same offense it goes to a day ban. Our staff does their best to stay in communication about issues in the most convenient ways. Putting the responsibility like expecting them to be on teamspeak 24/7 is fucking dumb. When staff are in game they shouldn't need an ok to fo their damn job. If you have a problem with how staffing is done then find new staff, becuase I won't stand for myself or the other staff being put on the spot of " and the staff need to have their expectations and standards reset based off of your response here" you can fuck right off if you think so poorly of our staff. They do their job the best they can. Sitting here bundling every staff up as a collective idiot ia downright disgusting. It's pointless even arguing with you becuase you won't even read my response anyways. This is my last reply.

A few points to anyone who isn't familiar with the differences between TS or Discord

Bots: Ts has bots as well, and can be customized to listen to server chat or channel chat.
I don't really understand the whole "I can't use teamspeak" since it's fairly straight forward if you ever used a VOIP in the past, and if you have a busy discord server, it does fuck your CPU usage compared to a busy teamspeak server. Discord is written in javascript and an electron based web application which is why it has an issue on performance when a lot of people are online.
You can customize a teamspeak server much more than discord, especially in terms of roles which is why roles in discord are very clunky. You can even give powers channel related (for example staff in TF2 have control over the TF2 channels as well, whereas in discord I believe you must have powers in the entire server and can't be given powers over just a channel.
Administration over teamspeak is much superior, kicking or banning in discord can easily be worked around, whereas teamspeak bans your UUID + IP, we have never had an issue after banning someone on teamspeak, that they constantly made new accounts and came back.
Channels can have sub channels, and we can space them out with spacers to make it more neater, something discord does not have.
Unless you lock a text channel, anything you say in there is public to everyone, instead of it being only with the group in the channel at the time. Imagine all the different groups of xG in one discord, and how hard it would be to organize everyone to their own channels, and give them the privacy they want.

I do appreciate the fact that you have logs showing that you did in fact warn him to change his name, however the fact he didn't respond to you at all means he might not have seen it so try to keep that in mind in the future. Regardless, his name was to trigger the staff which is why I do believe he should have got punished in some sort if people did get offended which apparently they did.
 
The issue I have was he had a name that upset staff, so you decided a month ban was the right decision? He got a week ban 2 years ago about call admin, and the previous day ban before that was something he got pardoned for. If you're going to go off his history, please try to use some discretion and understand that although we have a system for how we ban, I feel like it should be common sense that someone who didn't get punished for years shouldn't automatically get a more severe punishment their next offense, regardless of when it occurred or the level of offense.
 
Context matters a lot for staff, and I would prefer you guys think about issues critically before blindly following a guide that is meant to give you a foundation when trying to uphold the rules instead of it being the golden guide that should be followed to a T.

@Kypari Can you please explain your side of the story, including why you asked for a month ban from Vexx aside from there being no warning, kick or shorter ban issued prior to this month ban.

Okay I'll just give you an example then, if I'm a member of this community and I freekilled enough to get a week ban, if in over 2 years I freekilled someone again, do I deserve a month ban?
 
@Kypari if kicks aren't an issue, I would definitely recommend using a kick to get someone's attention if it is something as minor as a name. This gives the person a surefire way to get your message, and you can prevent issues like this in the future where the person might not have seen a warning.

@Kypari does sourcebans being disabled also prevent being able to be kicked? I'm asking that as a legitimate question.
 
Also, I would like to hear the feedback from @Bello, @Vexx, @Sesh and @mrnutty12. You guys believe this warrants a month ban despite his last ban being over 2 years ago over something unrelated? I personally find a 1 month ban over his name insanely excessive, especially after his previous ban being so long ago.

Just gonna respond to you guys, and then let the community decide as even the higherups and I disagree. A permanent ban obviously has no falloff date because it hasn't been served because it's permanent, so this example makes no sense to me @Vexx, nor am I suggesting for permanent bans to automatically be unbanned after a certain amount of time.
 
Someone who fully serves a punishment years ago, should not blindly be followed to a greater punishment. The context of "he doesn't learn" has 0 basis if he's been on and off the server for years with no further punishment. We're a gaming community... do you honestly think the punishment fits the crime? @Sesh
 
@Bello Agree with your points, his previous bans have completely 0 correlation, how does that imply he "hasn't changed" or "doesn't learn"

That's fine with me, I'm fine with a ban to a day as he never got a kick warning. A month is excessive. I will also add a few more things here before this thread is closed.

He was on yesterday for 6 hours with Egossi and other members on TGH, are you telling me he went through the server only to insult people? Also, this whole thread is based on your conversation to brian asking him to name change, which he didn't, to which you asked Vexx for a month ban after. So what you're saying is also false since no one apparently had an issue with him that entire day, but according to you, all he does is come on just to insult people.

While mince is just grasping at things to make a flaming pile of shit, this is the 2nd time in very recent where TF2 staff has banned someone/wanted to ban someone for a long duration of time over something so small and so little that it boggles my mind.
 
Call me old but back in the day, this kind of name was common. It's literally a way of protesting that you don't like how staff are handling things. Does he ever specifically state "Kypari is a badmin because he sucks the poopy"? no, he just says "tired of the badmins". I literally don't even know where to start with this besides you all need to just chill out with your bans. There's no need to be a nazi over every single thing and hunt for reasons to give longer bans than remotely reasonable.

How does being toxic without having been banned for it justify a month ban? Yes, he was banned for something else and maybe he was toxic, but jumping straight to a month ban seems way too much.
