I recently got gagged for asking why Nigga is considered a slur and it just pisses me off to no end.
 
Nigga is NOT an offensive slur, it's used by black people all the time as a term of endearment. Literally
NO ONE is going to get offended by people saying it, so why punish people for it????? I find this to be
a breach of free speech. When people are intending to create hate-speech for people of color they just
say Nigger, plain and simple. It's just wrong and unfair to ban words like this because it just gives them
more notoriety for absolutely no reason. You can do a simple fucking google search and learn that Nigga
is used in a positive way unlike Nigger. I understand that the word has evil roots but that's really no excuse.

have sprays of it, which is sexualizing children which is wrong, and illegal and people like Rub1dium get hunted down
through facebook by an absolute creep.What's with all the double standards??????
 
Really xG staff needs to either get more consistent with their policies or just get rid of punishment for slurs altogether
because all you are doing by making slurs this big bad thing is giving the words more power and cultivating absolute SJW

I left this thread open despite you guys cherrypicking logs just to make Amy out to be acting rude and abusing on her own accord because I wanted the opinions of other members.
 
Regardless, she has gotten her warning for abuse in terms of spawning/flying for anything that doesn't have to do with spawn or for community areas. She 100% could have handled things better, and could have tried to be more responsive to members who are in need of help. Even if she doesn't know the solution, just listening and responding is enough if she's tabbed in to see if she has any ideas on how to help. This though does not warrant a straight out demotion.
 
To @Healix, @grap_grop and anyone else who tries to use this kind of "tactic" in xG to get someone punished, you guys need to re-evaluate yourselves as members of this community. If I message someone that they are like an 8 year old girl or telling them they are the worst DL, and they respond back to me telling me to shut up or kick me after constantly egging them on, in what fucking world do you think I can screenshot only their side of the convo and post it as proof that they are disrespectful or abusive?? How can you possibly think this ISN'T fucking underhanded and dishonest?
 
Edit: To @LAN_Megalodon, you misunderstood what she said. Her using creative to build in her town and anywhere around it is not what she was referring to as community project. I warned her when I found out about her using it to benefit herself, and stated she will only use it for spawn or community projects (i.e. changing up shop, adding an event area etc) She admitted to using it to build in her town and how it's wrong, which was yesterday.
 
Also, logs will be looked at as other higher ups have access to it, and if anything else comes from them, they will be addressed at that time.

I asked Amy something and I didn't get a response; I was fully aware that donator perks were in heavy works and so were the staff perms. I was more than happy to wait for a response as those things were more important than my concern. DL's have a lot of questions being thrown at them, they need time. Think about it like a cusomer service line for a company. High Priority issues are main priority, than medium and finally low priority. Server staff perms and Donator things are very important right now, a simple question about a spammer is not priority.
 
I am only going to vouch on the fact of the kicking and how things were handled, the creative stuff I'm not going to vouch on.
 
-1 @Amylicious however could have handled it differently; the way she was being treated was not okay. As @MineCrack said, she doesn't have to answer, her roles primary focus is server management and administrating. This whole situation, all those involved should of handled it better.

I already addressed she got warned for using Creative in her own town, and will be removed from power if she is caught using it again to benefit herself. This conversation was only yesterday, and she didn't deny doing it, apologized and knows the consequences if caught again.

I'm actually interested to know how much of grape's comments you knew towards Amy and still made this thread regardless, did you think we would disregard any context? We have rules about stuff like this and try to do our best to get evidence from all sides on purpose to stop groups of friends to circlejerk and target someone they don't like with false narratives. This is a gaming community, you do not need to like everyone, but acting hostile and trying to make them feel unwelcome is not acceptable.

Yes, we generally don't allow nudity on our servers, but there is a line in which that nudity can be expressed in an artistic way. Now, where that line is i believe is different from person to person, as seen in this thread. Sweden and europe in general is way more liberal in that sense, and we usually don't blur out naked parts of bodies on tv, for example.
 
As @Vector just mentioned, there is a big difference between art that is intentionally made to be erotic, and art that uses the human body for its aesthetics.
This piece is obviously meant to be artistic instead of sexual in any way, it just happens to portray a naked woman. And i think that's fine. I've never been bothered by it while playing, it fits the map theme pretty well and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb (i've actually barely even noticed it while playing).
 
@Rhododendron @Aegean i would advice us to let the poll run out and then make our decision on what the community wants. After all, they are the ones who will be affected by it.

Most things can be allowed if all the higher ups agree, which in this case we did. When the map was added, I was still an admin and Bello had said the map was fine because it was artistic nudity. I still stand behind the map being completely fine how it is, there is nothing wrong with having that image on the map. We don't need to rewrite rules to make decisions like this, if anyone asks it can be easily explained. It's not ignoring our rules when our rules only concern sprays, player decals, and steam profile pictures. Maps have nothing to do with those rules and are up to the discretion of higher ups as to whether they are fine or not.

I'm telling you, the image is not anywhere close to how bad you're describing it is. There are no "flaps" nor is there anything sexual about the image. The pose the woman is taking is a common pose used in art like this. PG - 13 is entirely subjective, as the idea of PG - 13 as drastically changed over time.

Imma stay neutral on this. It is meant to be seen as art, but it does break rules of being PG - 13. Im not too sure about. I saw some people saying just replace the brush. That shouldn't be too hard to do.

No, I'm saying If we have a rule against porn we should be consistent with it, not allow porn sometimes If people like a certain map. If we allow exceptions, the rule should say we allow exceptions.
