Sorry to ping old posts, but after beating this game on master mode, all 120 shrines, etc. I can really say without a doubt it's one of the best games I've played, with it only being beaten out by PkmnBW2 in my opinion. My only real complaint with the game is that Calamity Ganon should have been harder, but even then he's a great final boss. The freedom this game gives you allows you to go through the games story at your own pace. If you want to go fight Ganon with no clothes and a mop, you can do that (while it's not as effective as you'd think). Nothing can really beat the feeling of solving a puzzle, not with the intended answer, but using your own exploits as you see fit. Not to self advertise, but in a video I have up on my channel, I was going to die to a guardian, and couldn't run away. Out of desperation I through a bomb to block the lazer, and it worked. Stuff like that is what makes a game feel like a game. I'm not saying the game is perfect, but if there was a game to claim that title, in my opinion, it's this game.

I'm not a graduate on this bot, but I'm sure there could be someway for it to track your level without spamming chat. While I don't think that would be an issue, I could see it becoming annoying.

I find it surprising you've never heard anyone complain about it, but even if you haven't, that really doesn't change anything. Evidence in favor of random crits is all subjective, so I can't really support it. 

Damn, honestly didn't expect so many people to vote no after the positivism that the original got. There really isn't a reason to not add one besides the chance that there will be an xG made one later. Eh, watch ya gonna do.

Random crits are a mechanic from the launch build of tf2, meant to prevent stalemates. While it was debatable back then if they were needed, they defiantly aren't now. Stalemates in games are more rare, because of unlocks, and crits don't really prevent them. These especially are not needed in what is essentially a dm server (in the case of tgh), or a parkour server (in the case of surf). 

Remove them, they smell.

When you stroll into a random topic, and see an absolute shitstorm without any context.

Hey everyone, I'm a bit new around here, but when I was in the Discord, I suggested bringing a leveling bot into the Discord.

These bots use a users messages as xp, and over time their level will increase. I go into detail, but click the website link for more info.

These bots, since they encourage messaging more, and often, would obviously be a big help to the discord. Not only that, it would do a number of things for people at different experience levels in the discord, newer members could see who might be a good idea to ask for help in the discord by typing t!rank. More experienced members could use their level as bragging rights and so on. I'll answer a few common questions about the bot bellow.

Does this bot encourage spam? - On paper yes, but I've seen it in a number of discords, in all which, it doesn't seem to encourage spam in the least, newer.

Wouldn't that clutter up the discord with people typing commands? - Commands are rarely used, and a dedicated channel can be made for them, if a user starts to type in a bunch of bot commands, they can be directed towards the channel.

Yeah, I know that's the meta, after all I watch comp games now and then, but I wish the meta in general would change sometimes. After all, I think we all wish someone could honestly say that they make a living off of playing comp pyro. lol

-1, people would hate to have the pan taken away as a reskin, change the scottish handshake into one, people are asking valve that for crying out loud. If that goes into effect though, it should be pointed out so new players don't unintentionally nerf themselves.
