Well, since it seems that this thread has become more of a boxing ring for some people than an abuse report, I want to say one final thing. I am geniunely sorry for those who were effected by my blatant stupidity in my first 3 or 4 days as a moderator. This past week has been a learning curve for me, and I have been trying to straighten myself up with pointless commands. Ask Muffin or Nom, I haven't stopped bothering them asking questions on how to do this and what should the punishment be for that. I wasn't focused on doing my job when I first got mod, and now I am. I'm not sure what the hell I was thinking, misusing my powers like that, and I hope that you guys will understand that I yake responsibility for what I did.

You can freelook in the direction of cells, this really shouldn't be a big deal. Plus you can still jump, taunt, and crouch so it really doesn't disrupt WASD freeze that much

What I have noticed on this thread is that almost everyone posting is someone of equal or greater rank to speed himself. I ask you, is that a fair comparison. Speed has no power over you so why would you care what he does on a case to case basis. Who needs to be asked, are the normal players on the server. Below are several screenshots of speed repeatedly slapping one Frost Butt Stallion, and attempting to blind the red team. He has also without consent changed the entire blue teams names and refused to change them back even when told to by Kbrazzle. Speed has done many other things as well, unfortunately,one man cannot screenshot everything. I do not think that Speed should be necessarily demoted, I just believe he needs to be much more consistent and careful with his powers.

Agreed Cookie, I see no context in these screenshots and some of them don't say jack shit about abuse. THIS IS WHY SCREENSHOTS DO NOT WORK. Screenshots provide no context, limit the screen, etc. Camping =/= abuse in case you didn't know, that's a server rule he's breaking and not actually ABUSING his powers. I just watched the TF2 JB server sit at 32/32 today.... Because it's JB, people get banned from CT by the hour....because they are dumb... -1 unless someone can post any proof of any abuse instead of just saying "I don't like him."

Samit was the one obsessed with the /resize. I had to keep fixing people he resized, and it eventually got removed for mods. I also joined JB 1 and people were all different sizes, and there were no mods. Someone clearly had resized people and then left.

All jokes aside though, as with a few other Staff Members, there are times when I feel it's appropriate for the 'youngsters' to use their mics. There are a few factors to consider when dealing with it after all: First and most importantly, how does the Server feel on this particular individual using their mic? If majority wants the high pitched nonsense to stop, then as a Staff Member you are doing it for the good of the Server. No hard feelings on that particular individual, but apparently the Server would prefer if their balls dropped before using their mic ;) Second, are they using their mic in an unproductive way? Are they just babbling nonsense or shrieking and being a general annoyance? If so, then yes, I'd say that warrants a mute. If they aren't contributing to the Server in a way that is beneficial (calling Warden, making the Server more enjoyable, etc) then they're just making matters worse. Third, sort of a spin off of my second question; are they mature enough to handle mic use? Maturity is one of the main points that should be looked over when dealing with them 'youngsters'. Sometimes they get hyped up on sugar and scream into their mics. Solution? Mute and put them in the time-out corner. But since this thread is designated at the aspect that most players are kids, do keep in mind that as with most other F2P (Free to Play) games, there is an abundance of kids playing. Sometimes removing their access to the game may actually hurt the Servers more than it would just leaving them be (a lot of them are visual players. If a Server shows 30/40 players, they'll be more reluctant to play there rather than on a 13/30 player Server). Just my two cents

Currently, I feel that we have a moderate amount of mods. I think we should put a cap on how many mods there can be. (Applying to all divs. Look at CS:S for instance.)

Why is this thread still open? @MuffinMonster please close, proof worthy of demotion has not been given. As @serbiansnaga himself once said on my one admin abuse thread, "New mods are expected to mess up with their commands, meaning that they are allowed to make some mistakes when it comes to the powers cause not everyone would know the commands off the bat and this gives them a window of opportunity where they can make mistakes and not have to worry about losing their mod powers, its about figuring out the commands, implementing them and keeping the server under control, think of the first week or two of the person getting mod as training and for practice," Now this was because I accidentally teamswitched people through !admin and it screwed up a game but it fits. If I read this thread right, @SpeedOfFreedom has not been mod long. It takes a while to get used the commands and, not only that, get used to giving appropriate time lengths. Give him time. For another, it's good to be strict. I'm one of the stricter mods on CSS and I get a lot of shit for it on server but if I didn't there would still be complaints. There is no winning. TL;DR Fuck ups are expected. Strict mods can be good or all hell would break loose.

The camping? I was in a cell with 2 other reds. Camping is defined by staying in one area with the intent of hiding from the opposing team. How was I hiding if there were reds in there with me? Also, when I was a member, the admins and mods all spawned bosses on freedays and if it was the LR. If we questioned them, we got the response, "It is allowed on freedays and for LR." If I was stuck in the map, I slayed myself. How is it proof of camping if it is a screenshot? Where is your evidence that I was there for 15 seconds? And I don't remember spawning a line of bosses like that. To add onto that, you show no proof that it was actually me spawning the bosses. Like I have said multiple times, I have vowed to not use any commands outside of kick/slay/ban/teamban for the time being, because of how I used powers when I first obtained them. And Bell. None of those bans were pointless. They all had a reason behind them.

The moment you see another player saying STOP is when you stop. i'm all for having fun and these powers give us some unique taste with it, but i see no reason to blind the red team. Also, sometimes the mod/admin has to be strict because then people will just complain we aren't doing our jobs. there is no middle ground for this sadly and there is nothing more i can say on that subject. Following his own rules? no proof there not liking him =/= bad mod the jailbreak server has been full..... also if those are quotes from xG member, get screen shots of the chat and just white out the names. it's not hard.

If you think Speed is incorrectly banning people - the ban length, that is - then inform a higher up instead of wanting a demotions. 1. Speed is only to Enforce the rules. 2. I have seen Speed Abuse his powers alot, spawning in Halloween Bosses randomly, and Ct-banning. 3. I can see Speed is Just getting use to it, but he have overdone his provocative when he Perm-Ct-Banned someone who 'Accident' Freeshot someone. 4. His priority is to Enforce the rules, not make it more strict, as it is "Strict Enough" Complaints: -Banning Others -Not fun to be around 'Not usualy' -"Early Mod, Doesn't deserve the responsibility." -Major Asshat, 'At Times' -disregard my whether he's mod, he needs to be demoted.

If my say matter's, I reckon we should keep speed for now. When i've been on, he has done nothing wrong. He's strict...yes. But as mentioned above. Strict is a good thing. But i reckon the way to tackle the mod problem is...Stop getting american mods/admins. When i go on during the day. Its just a few freekillers. If we have mods whom live in diffrent time-zones, it means some can get a break until one has to go. Sorry if i Offended anyone. (P.S sorry for inactivity on the forums, i don't have much to say.)
