Alright in the coming weeks I'll be pushing over the MySQL to a master-master replication server. I will also be setting up a second teamspeak server since after contacting the devs, this is completely possible and would work with ease (even two people on two different servers could chat with each other apparently). This is to make for COMPLETE redundancy if MySQL goes down or Teamspeak goes down. I can't do this with the website services since it's too expensive atm with the amount of HDD space the website takes and Teamspeak is more important since we can communicate more quickly there.
 
I'm studying up on master-master replication servers since I need this to go smoothly 100%. Is there anything else we should do that would help with redundancy?
 
This should hopefully be done by summer time, so we won't have any downtime for the summer people :)

I talked to Silence about a possible remake which is transferable to the guide section and he said I could, if I had the time, try to make a draft.
Here is what I made up so far.



GUIDE NAME: Member Submission Guidelines.
GUIDE SUMMARY:
So, you've decided that you want to join xG?

Before you begin filling out a membership application, please make sure you meet the following requirements first:
(summary end)

1) ==> General requirements:

To become a member, you must be at least 13 years old.
Multi-Clanning is not tolerated. If you are already a member of a different clan, you will not be allowed to apply.
If you are declined membership for any reason, you may not reapply for a minimum of 30 days.
After receiving the minimum number of vouches, your member submission will be accepted as soon as a staff member finds the time to.

2) ==> Leaving and re-joining:
 
If you left XenoGamers or got kicked out, you are allowed to re-apply, however there you must meet the following requirements:

You must have double the amount of vouches you normally would need
A Division Leader from the respective division to agree on your return 01/13/14
Have waited a minimum of 30 days from the day you have quit/left xG
Members are allowed to provide a toward a re-submission under the reasoning that the applicant left XenoGamers in order to join another clan.

3) ==> Vouching for others
 
You should vouch for a player if:

You've played with him/her.
You are apart of that division - represent!
And obviously if you want them apart of us!


You shouldn't vouch for a player if:

You haven't played with him/her.
You're not a member of XenoGamers - sorry, but we need our communities voice.
You have no idea how this person acts/plays within our servers/community.

 
 
We want cool, relaxed members - not try-hard douche-bags, so,
When vouching +1's - we don't need things like "Good warden, cool guy or good player" by it's self - we are not a skill based community.
 
As well. You should only -1 if at least the above requirements are met & based off at least the three reasons above - not if you hate the person, or based from skill. Do not -1 an application due to the reason "He/she asked for +1's" etc. Your vouch will be considered invalid and not count. (4/22/2012)

INCLUDE A NUMBER SCALE FOR ACTIVITY AND MATURITY, 1 BEING ON THE LOW END (immature, not active), 10 BEING ON THE HIGH END (very mature, very active)

Activity: What servers are they on the most? What server do you see them on? What games are they on the most? Counter Strike Global Offensive? Team Fortress 2? Garry's Mod? Nuclear Dawn?
Maturity: Is he being respectful to others no matter what and trying to not cause drama?

Why: Hes a good person, he respects others, he does what he can to enforce the rules, hes contributing to the clan by posting ideas on how to make the servers better.
 
Maturity (9/10): He tends to talk when its not really needed but stops when someone asks him to, he doesn't contribute to trolls when they are on the server, he keeps his cool most of the time.
 
Activity (10/10): Hes active on RPG surf, and jailbreak, he is also active on the saxton hale server.
 
3.2) ==> Template of a negative vouch
 
Decision: -1
 
Why: He does not know the rules, is always disrespectful, ignores the rules even though he has been told to read them several times.
 
Maturity (2/10): He always micspams and insults others when they tell him not to. Furthermore he has not read the rules.
 
Activity (3/10): He usually plays about three hours a week and is generally inactive on the forums and on TeamSpeak.

4) ==> Minimum Vouching Requirements
 

You need 5 vouches, and a Division Leader / Division Manager / Community Leader to vouch as well. (I.e 6 vouches in total)
This applies for all divisions.

5) Tips for getting vouches
 
As many of you see we're a popular community and have many applications to deal with. Sometimes so many come in & we lose track of who is looking to get in, pushing theirs to the bottom, but there is a easy way to fix this and help us both, and that is "bump" your thread. Simply by posting "bump" - doing this will bring your thread to the top of the list so we can notice & respond! :D
 
Another tip is if you are in need of more vouches why not join one of our servers with members and play with them. Get to know them than send them to your app and ask if they could vouch for you. This will help you get enough vouches to get in.

Personally I would not, considering that he had already blown through his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, etc. chances. not all from drama such as his suicide threats (although there was a good portion for that), but for things like wallhacks (blatant at that), and general server rule breaking.
 
He seems to think for some reason I hold a grudge against him (going so far as when he was in the server the other day [which he hasn't been on since those 3 hours] to consistently complain that I would not let him get back and would do everything in my power to get rid of him to anyone and everyone that was on)

I'll look into the error I don't remember editing those lines so it may be a widespread issue (probably not).

I can confirm it works on both Mobile and Mac.

Tell me if it doesn't fix it, but there's no compatibility issues with modern browsers using our current cipher list.
