You can purchase Mystery Champion Shards from the ingame Store for IP and then break those down for Blue Essence. Figured it would save you some time and frustration. Pretty sure they're 1,500 IP each :coffee:

Hey everyone. For the last couple months, I've been contemplating my experiences in xG. I've come to the conclusion that I am not exactly happy with what is going on in the TF2 division and I no longer have the time or ability to worry about it anymore.... It's true guys.. I'm literally crying right now... I decided to record a video for you guys since typing just takes too long. ;(

Mod and Admin tags just got added to forums and teamspeak! While i think its great it currently has some inconsistencies that i'd like to bring up.
 
Make the color on your teamspeak rank match the color of your tag on forums. On teamspeak admins have a purple color while mods have a green/yellowish color, while on forums the admin tag is orange and the mod tag is light blue. Matching them would bring a more consistent look between forums and teamspeak.

There's also an issue that has been bothering me for a while; how server groups are sorted. Currently, its a jumbled mess with hub novelty icons having priority over staff tags, donator etc. I tidied it up a bit, and in my opinion it makes it easier to see who's who while also making everything look more organized.

Pretty much what forest said, we have absolutely 0 control over people making discords or hanging out with friends in other servers aside from our teamspeak, but we do prefer not to seperate the groups and prefer everyone to use our teamspeak if they have access. We have spent a ton of time and resources onto our teamspeak and prefer it to be utilized by as many people as we can :)

Just as a suggestion [and this is only valid if you haven't done-so], and not to shut you down or anything, but you may want to get the 'go-ahead' from Higher-Ups before establishing something that is affiliated with Xeno Gamers (or is otherwise 'sponsored' by Xeno Gamers). I can't/won't speak for the Higher-Ups, but not only could it negatively impact activity on our Team Speak servers (something that dem Higher-Ups have been trying to remedy for quite some time) but Silence seems (correct me if I'm wrong) pretty adamant that a Xeno Gamers Discord Server will/should not be made and this directly goes against his statement which really ought to be considered.
 
Same suggestion goes out to anyone else who may consider creating an external connection to Xeno Gamers without permission; keep in mind that we shouldn't just slap "Xeno Gamers" on something and proclaim it as official without at least receiving an opinion or go-ahead from the Higher-Ups. I'm not too familiar with any legalities or anything, but should something happen revolving around whatever that 'external connection' may be, it could negatively influence the clan or something along those lines. Just my 2 cents and again, just a suggestion :coffee:

Sup LostCause here, older member from the land before time. Been around. Been chillin. Mainly used to play CSS and used to be an admin and stuff. I occasionally stop by the xG servers sometimes so you might have met me once or twice. If you haven't good news is you might start seeing my face around here a lot more now that my life is somewhat stable and I can actually find the time to relax and play some video games and shit. You'll probably find me on csgo.

Well this is obviously a shitty situation, I didn't know how you were 2013-late 2016 but I do agree that it'll be best if you leave if that's how you feel.
 
I will just explain why it's easier for a person to get mod if they are friends with staff and active on TS than otherwise. The staff knows the member much more, and as such, it's easier to tell if he's active, interested in being staff, and if he is (or seems) capable. That's why we have mod apps as well, and why we always ask for the community input. It is also why it takes multiple staff behind the scenes to promote/demote someone. Regardless, stuff like this is completely common in any gaming community that doesn't have 24/7 populated servers with staff that are on 24/7. Also compared to a workplace where you work 9-5, in a gaming server it's very common to make friends with staff who are generally the most active and most well known.
 
Regardless, I wish you the best of luck, thanks for all the maps you have ported for us, and regardless of you leaving xG that you at least stay in touch with the friends you made once in a while.
