Hi guys, I have been a member for a while now on and off but I decided I should really start working for the XG title in my name. So I thought I would come back and say hi! I usually play on the Pokémon server where you can find me. If anyone ever uses the team speak for TF2 I will gladly be on that one too! I will also use the forum a little more and help out if and when I can!

Assuming the last ban was for an intentional mass freekill (hard to tell with Pacific being gone for years, but given the context in that thread it seems to be the case), I'm going to have to -1 as I did in that last Ban Protest.

When I started playing WoW, I thought it would be a fun thing for a couple of xG members to do, and we could all play together and raid, specifically in the upcoming expansion. I dozed off and kind of did my own thing while everybody else stayed behind and only raided on the raid days that I set. I got way ahead of everybody, and I'm now raiding mythic (the hardest difficulty) and I get really into the game and serious about it. I simply don't have the time or motivation that I used to for the clan, but I still love everybody here. Not going to tag anyone, you know if I enjoy your presence or not. if you want the link to my guild's discord, message me on forums and I'll give it to anyone that I particularly like. If you want to play wow, you're welcome into my guild, and you may raid with us if you have the desire for it.

I was thinking about making a major change to glowsticks to massively improve client performance and to increase the amount of realism within the Morbus gamemode. Holding a glowstick in your hand would no longer light up the area, unless you actually "use" the glowstick by throwing it.
 
With our inventory increases and a separate slot, players should have lots to throw and don't have to worry about other throwables. And this would greatly decrease the amount of dynamic lights on the map at even given time, thus boosting overall client frame rates.

p.s I've also made a performance improvement for throwing glowsticks. The dynamic light will only create once. (instead of 60 times/second)

-both of these are from a few nights ago
-1 asked multiple members for drugs, insanely disrespectful to randoms, members and staff alike. Maybe change to a +/- 0 if he's changed like he says he has, but those chat logs are from a few nights ago and there was more before that (what Charles said wasn't right, but I have a feeling there's still going to be an issue with disrespect- before the screenshots he essentially called some of the higher ups and nearly all of the members of xG "13-17 year old faggots that lived in their mom's basements" I dont have those logs because my computer restarted itself last night and closed the chat) and I feel like if he's only here for staff that doesn't show 100% dedication to the server. my 2 cents, if he fixes his attitude for good then maybe there could be a chance

Think of it this way; Staff are there to ensure that the Server(s) foster(s) a friendly and fair environment for players, not to specifically weed out the rule breakers. That is to say, they're there to moderate any issues that arise at the time to prevent any other issues from popping up. The tags are more of a deterrent than anything else. Even if people are less inclined to break the rules in the presence of Staff, their (Staff) primary duty is to, like I said, maintain a fun and enjoyable environment, not to specifically target players for the sole purpose of getting them banned. Of course there are exceptions such as a player hacking (required video evidence) or repeat-offenders who [intentionally] only act out when no Staff are present.
 
Their position is more of a passive one, and while an aggressive one can be just as effective, it tends to dampen the mood and results in players who are less likely to try something new out of fear of being banned. That being said, I'm not dismissing the "undercover" status as unnecessary so much as I am saying that it should only be in effect when it needs to be.
 
Mind you, this is all just personal opinion. Whether or not it is to be enforced this way is up to the Higher-Ups :coffee:
